I used to use jr driveshafts for years and never had issues but now I wouldn't touch em with a barge pole.
There customer service is horrendous and ran by 5 year olds who have zero experience with what they are selling!
To be frank I don't know how they are still trading.
Sort your mess out jr driveshafts!!!

Please don't buy of J&R driveshafts' poor quality after a couple of days they start making noise and need to be replaced again. Similarly, I bought CV Boots and they get ruptured and on contact with customer service, you get no response at all. replacement and poor customer support the sales people need properly trained as they dont know what they are selling.

Have just this company many times over the years for our vans and had no problems, items always arrived on time and well packaged.

Unfortunately I have to leave this feed back as you really don't have customer service in place. I bought a drive draft for out transit customer and within a few months it had failed, I accept that we can't get it right every time I spoke to J and R and was told to prove I had got the item from them which I did to be told they would need the drive shaft returning so they can check it ou but I would need to pay for the return post which wouldn't be cheap because the weight of the item, I had the van in a garage on ramps the Mechanic is not interested in my story he just wants to fit a new driveshaft and free up his ramp so therefore I had no other option but to go ahead and pay for another drive shaft from else where go ahead and have it fitted. I will not be using J and R again you have been warned

Ordered a drive shaft off their website , i put in my registration and make and model and their website recommend a drive shaft HOWEVER the part has arrived and it is not for my make and model or car, I got in touch with this company and was spoken to rudely over the phone , told to contact the company online as this is not a problem the guy on the phone deals with , then he hung up abruptly .
I contacted the company by email and explained the situation , to be constantly asked questions which i had already explained in my email, PROVES THEY DONT WANT TO LISTEN TO CUSTOMERS.
In the end was told i can get a refund but i have to cover the cost of returning the part that THEIR website recommended.
DISGUSTING SERVICE, THEY DONT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS JUST RIPPING PEOPLE OFF AND MAKING MONEY.AVOID !!!!!!! AVOID!!!! AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!

I have ordered both drive shafts for my Renault Master and have had a superb service from J and R cv joints.
Very reasonably priced, quality products, helpful staff and super super fast delivery.
Highly recommend

dont buy of jr driveshafts poor quality nearly caused a bad accident parts missing and poor customer support the sales people need properly trained as they dont know what there saleing stay away from buying there poor quality parts there cheap for a good reason

Ha ha laughing my head off. UPDATE YOU SAY THE PART WAS STOLEN (WHO KNOWS) I NEVER GOT ANYTHING.. DON'T YOU THINK YOU SHOULD OF HELPED IN SOME WAY. YOU JUST TOLD ME TO NEVER CONTACT YOU AGAIN AND THAT YOU WHERE HAPPY FOR ME TO GO TO COURT.

IT WAS NOT THE MONEY BUT JUSTICE FROM A COMPANY WITH A POOR RECORD ON CUSTOMER SERVICE.
IF YOU GET BAD SERVICE YOU HAVE RIGHTS UNDER THE CONSUMER RIGHTS ACT SUCH AS GOODS MUST BE OF A CERTAIN QUALITY NOT BREAK SOON AFTER BEING FITTED.
DO A SMALL CLAIM, IT COST VERY LITTLE, EASY AND IS LENGTHY BUT WELL WORTH IT. YOU MUST SEND A 7 DAY LETTER GIVING THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO PUT THINGS RIGHT AND IF THEY DO NOT ISSUE THE COURT PAPERS, ITS VERY WELL WORTH IT
This guy has had to pay me back and costs after taking him to court for non delivery. He lost and then left it until the very last day to pay me. I can see him furiously writing the payment.
The company is the worst I have had the displeasure of dealing with
Don't take any notice of feedback on the sales platform they deleted my negative feed back and is so out of kilter with Trust pilots reviews.

Great customer service, had an issue whereby hub and gearbox weren't original to each other... After explaining the issue, I was quickly given the information required and an order was placed. Arrived next day too. Perfect for what I needed.

I correctly ordered two front driveshafts for a Freelander 2, J&R's website only offers two options, of shaft, Manual Gearbox or Auto. Our vehicle is Auto, which I ordered. J&R correctly supplied the Left front shaft, but they supplied the wrong shaft for the front right. I was asked to return the wrongly supplied shaft for credit, which I did, but they refuse to refund the postage for me doing so. I sourced the correct shaft locally and was able to compare the shafts for Manual and Autobox side by side, which confirmed my suspicion that I had been supplied with the shaft for a Manual vehicle, boxed and labelled as auto. J&R dispute this and still refuse to pay the return postage. I would not recommend this company.

I have used outer CV joints for rover 75 Cdti auto from J and R -and I never had a problem with quality.(they lasted on average 3 years /30.000 miles before replacing.)
Once I had to cut one of them and slide out clip-which did not want to release for some reason- puller did not helped.
I assume the clip maybe was stretched or something-not J and R fault.
S..t happens.😁

I have bought first time driveshaft for a new car-we will see how long it last.
So update in near future.

ordered drivevshafts for my mk 2 honda crv on the 10th of july, no sign of them on the 5th of August, rang up received no apology, told me they would take another 4 weeks, rang again today on the 8th of sept, still no apology, no idea when they would be in stock, wouldn't listen at all, against my instructions, processed a refund. Talked over the top of me the whole time. Never experienced service like this in my life.

Bought a CV joint for my car and was a bit wary considering the low price. Turns out I was right to be wary - the joint failed on the cars 1st drive. Cheap rubbish that's not fit for purpose! I recommend you avoid these parts and buy better quality.

Supplied the wrong part due to a misleading ad. The part was inadequate anyway. Worst of all they replied to my complaint in a way that made it clear they had not read what my complaint was, and they were not interested either way

I purchased a drive shaft and used their registration checker to confirm the part was for my car alas is was not.
Although eventually they refunded the original cost they refused to refund the £16.63 I had to pay to return the item.
This breaks Amazon rules.
And they don’t care.
Avoid!

Bought LHS drive shaft from J&R. Drove only a few miles and my car became wobbly, shaking violently - Turned out to be inner joint, one which is mated with gearbox slid out of its casing and was holding on to the axels inner boot alone!

These driveshafts are shi tee buy cheap pay twice they have been on the car 1 day and at speed on cornering the car feels wobbly the shafts are alot thinner to the original oe ones and the CV joint cups are different avoid avoid avoid cheap Shi teeeeee!!

Could be a five star rating.. I have bought 6 driveshafts now(3 different cars) and one of them has passed 60.000km..
That’s the five star worth..
The downside is, that the one shafts seem to be out of balance- the car is suddenly begun to have “rattling” just after the conversion.. they have a guarantee, but then I should go to the shop again- get the driveshaft off the car, send it to England, let the car hang🤷🏼‍♂️- and just wait while they inspect it.. that doesn’t make sense to me..
would consider buying again🤷🏼‍♂️

AVOID at all costs!! Parts don’t fit cars stated and all they’re staff advise wrong info and couldn’t care less. Deliberately supply you wrong parts and won’t own up to their mistakes!

After over 10 years of using them new staff is shocking. Girl on the phone isn't interested even to talk to the customers let's leave the fact to help then.

On the page parts are listed wrongly by the reg number.

When sent wrong they not interested to sort it. Is you to have to pay to return coz of their mistake? Must be some kind of joke🤔🤨

I'm very disappointed and wont be using again after so long time of cooperation coz this time they boiled me up by causing blockage of 1 ramp for over 5 days now. On top of that threy fraud tax by making rubbish false inviuces with delivery and payer details ebay buyer or online buyer.

Ordered some new cv joints for our van, ordered them on Monday afternoon 3pm and arrived 8am next day, not fitted as yet so can't review product but the service was spot on.
