Welcome to “I Repair Macs”, as our name suggests, we repair Macs, iPhones and iPads in-person and online. You can contact us 7 days a week. We are an independent Apple Mac repair specialist, and we have been operating for over 10 years. If you read the dates on the reviews on Google and Trustpilot, you see they go back about 9 years. We have been consistently delivering quality service to customers in London for more than a decade. We have actually been in the tech business almost 20 years, however, the first 10 years was pure business-to-business support, that’s why we say about 10 years. Nowadays, we are a tiny business, and we like it like that. We are definitely not going to be the cheapest. However, you will get great value for money, excellent service and honesty and accountability. Thank you for supporting a local small business.

Sound advice

I hadn't kept my iMac up to date, and hoped an upgrade was possible. Ryan was duly cautious and when he saw my machine he frankly advised me to get a new or more recently refurbished one: he put the customer's interest before personal gain. Incredible! He also removed a virus from my laptop. Helpful explanations of the problems and remedies; genial service at a respectable rate. I recommend this outfit unreservedly.

TRUE customer *service*. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this company. Technically very competent, excellent communicators and, above all else, shining examples of integrity and of delivering excellent customer service.

Honest, sincere, excellent service.

My iMac was getting slow and I suspected it's hard disk failure. Chose Ryan because of all these good reviews and indeed he is excellent. Excellent service, very honest, put my interest before his profit. Have my HDD replaced to SSD and my iMac comes back to life as new!

First class service, trustworthy and reliable

Extremely pleased with the service. From my phone call at 9.00 a.m. when I spoke to Martin - very pleasant, professional, polite and said what would happen - until Martyn arrived at 5.00 p.m. and within two minutes had fixed the problem and advised me what to do - again very polite, professional and courteous - I have no reservation in recommending them and will certainly contact them again should I need their help. Very impressed and a company that can be trusted. Thank you for your help.

I highly recommend to you this company ! Ryan is very friendly and trustful, providing a professional service with a high level of service. I had my devices (iPhone and iPads) fixed very quickly. I got my items the day after, I even did not have time to miss one of them. Great job Ryan, the repairs were tricky, your help was very appreciated. It is good to know that I can rely on you for any problem with my Apple Devices in the future.

The service and aftercare service was…

The service and aftercare service was excellent. My computer was picked up on the day that I contacted I Repair Macs (which was Sunday 05th April) and within a very short space of time I was given a full diagnosis of what the problem was and clear details on the cost. The repair was completed and my computer returned to me within 3 days. The cost was very reasonable, and because I work for the NHS I was offered a discount. The service was very friendly and professional. The service didn't stop with the repair as aftercare is part of the package - which I have made use of.

Eamonn, Thank you so much for the wonderful review. Also, thank you for the chocolates it was really appreciated by me and my daughter :) - you are very kind. The truth is most of us would be frightened to go into a hospital building in the current environment, the fact that you and your colleagues go into a building when it's on fire speaks volumes. I hope for our sake, we continue to appreciate what people in the NHS do when all of this is over. By this, I mean everyone, from the cleaners and porters to nurses and doctors. I used to do security at a hospital in my student days, and I have seen some of the things you have to put up with! So, thank you so much.

Expertise and compassion in extraordinary times

At a time when our lives are in lockdown and reliant on internet access I repair mac’s have gone to extraordinary trouble to restore my son’s elderly MacBook Pro, which had seemed like a lost cause, to life. I am impressed and grateful for the expertise, diligence, honest appraisal, clear communication and generosity of spirit shown while undertaking this service. I highly recommend this company to all Mac users.

Ryan saved my life!

Ryan saved my life!! When I was working from home due to the lockdown (corona virus) I managed to spill a coffee over my mac. The numbers and most of the left side letters stopped working on the keyboard and I needed to get help quickly. Ryan was so helpful, he explained the problem and how he could help m fix it but also told me what i can do myself and sent me a link to a very helpful website. This was before I asked him for help. I sent my laptop to Ryan and the news were not great, the damage could be repaired but would cost a lot. Ryan gave me another option: he told me I could get away with just using an external keyboard and a mouse and offered to help me getting these. I had my laptop pretty much back the following day even though they have been extremely busy with people needing fixing their laptops due to many working from home.
I didn't pay for the repair, only for the diagnosis plus the keyboard and a mouse. When I got home I was surprised to find out my laptop was working perfectly fine. Ryan cleaned it and saved my laptop and probably a very costly repair. Forever grateful. Throughout all this time, Ryan has been in touch with me explaining the issues, what he did and what would be the best thing to do and how to cut costs. The service has been super speedy and to be honest it is very rare to see someone so dedicated to deliver great service despite the difficult circumstances. He works tirelessly and all week long. Thank you so so so much!!!!

Avoid at all cost

Kept my laptop over a month, then reversed the repair when I was unhappy with being ignored and my laptop being kept for 5 weeks (despite paying much earlier than this).

Thanks for saving my MacBook!

I came to Ryan with my MacBook which had developed a faulty screen - he was very efficient and concise with assessing and letting me know what my options were. Upon going ahead with the repair, Ryan carried it out very quickly and kept me well informed throughout the process. Upon realising I could potentially claim on insurance, Ryan provided me with a thorough cause of damage report and gave me the old screen for evidence. Thanks for your help and expertise.

Saving data from an old Imac

My old imac ground to a halt and i thought i'd lost the data. Ryan managed to retrieve the data and save it to a portable hard drive (in iOs and Window's formats) 13 year's of family pics saved! I appreciated the efficient and informative service. Rob

Recommended!

I had a 2011 iMac with a faulty Graphics Card that both Jigsaw and KRCS said they couldn't repair (service, help, advice etc from the later company was abysmal!). Mac repair were great. Yes they use recon parts stripped from other machines, but they repaired my Mac within 10 days when no one else could/wanted to, at what I considered to be a very fair price of £320 ... much better than the £2,000+ needed for a new machine (as advised by KRCS ... who even then didn't seem bothered about advising on the best solution, despite the fact I had money to spend!)

I'd definitely recommend and use again ... thanks guys!

Brilliant thoughtful advice

Ryan was absolutely brilliant. I had a million questions about my MacBook Pro 13” mid 2012 model running super slow. Ryan had all the answers and provided me with plenty of options to decide from depending on my budget and what I use my MacBook for.

The speed of my laptop had be driving me crazy for so long and I’d looked into options myself, But I’m so glad I went with Ryan. The service was very professional and informative, I could tell I was in safe hands. The turn around was very quick and he kept me updated through the whole process.

Thanks a bunch Ryan! No more spinning rainbow wheel for me!! Woo

Efficient, professional, fast service!

I brought my MacBook Air 13 inch into Ryan because my screen was stripey all down one side (damaged), Ryan's quote was very reasonable for a proper MacBook screen replacement (which was what I needed) and I had it back within a week, so much faster than the apple store offered me and much more convenient with the lack of appointment needed! It has been working perfectly ever since. Ryan was very efficient, he communicated well and kept me up to date with progress. He also explained all my options to me before he carried out the work. I am so grateful!! Will definitely be bringing all my apple problems back to Ryan in the future! Can't thank you enough!!

Great service, very professional and fast

Went to the shop as iPad screen was badly cracked, barely holding with tape, and had issues with the microphone. Ryan checked it out but found nothing wrong with the microphone so only replaced the screen. I came back in a couple of days later and complain again about the microphone (people couldn't hear me well on FaceTime). After an hour, I got a call to pick up my iPad. Turned out that I had taped the microphones and hadn't removed it properly after having had the screen fixed. Silly me. All this to say that they didn't change any pieces just for the sake of it because I was complaining ... Very professional, reliable and fast :-) I only paid what they fixed...

Excellent quality and service

I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and speed of service from I Repair Macs. The battery on my MacBook Pro had been going for sometime. When I contacted them about the issue, they were extremely clear about the process and cost of replacing the battery and even managed to provide me with a temporary replacement battery while waiting for the new parts. Excellent work, speed and pricing.

Sidenote: when working on my computer, they discovered another minor issue that was speedily communicated to me and a highly reasonable price offered given the ongoing work. I would definitely go back.
