When booking intensive lessons, you expect to have intensive lessons and then a test at the end of the course. Intensive lessons started in April and a test date of July was offered, I complained and a new test date was provided of June. I complained again and they just wasn't interested, I was also told that a new test date would cost me more money.
The company does not communicate with you at all, all info is on the portal, once the portal is updated it does not send through a notification.
I paid over the odds to have a fast tracked lesson & test. I managed to do this in the end, however I had to sort it myself via a third party. I wouldn't use this company again, total waste of time.

What an amazing driving instructor i had nicola she was so calm and I really felt at ease with her I absolutely recommend her as a driving instructor and the service its self was quick and easy to organise driving for myself passed my test on a 15 hour course 😀

Truly amazing, my instructor was the best I've ever had, Mr Muhammad was great and put me at ease and knew exactly what was needed for me to pass first time.

They found me a test within two months. My allocated instructor was absolutely amazing.

Awful experience from start to finish. This company managed to mess me around at every possible stage, and honestly, I’m amazed they’re still operating. The lack of communication was unbelievable, days would go by without a single update, and whenever I chased them, I’d get vague excuses or no response at all.

I asked for a test in a specific location, made it clear multiple times, and they still booked it somewhere completely different. It felt like they weren’t listening, didn’t care, or both. After all the delays, confusion, and constant back‑and‑forth, I didn’t even get anywhere near the test stage. Months wasted, money wasted, and absolutely nothing to show for it.

It’s painfully obvious this company is exploiting the system at learners’ expense. They take your money, string you along, and leave you to deal with the fallout. There’s zero professionalism, zero accountability, and zero respect for the people relying on them.

Avoid at all cost. There are plenty of reputable instructors out there. This is not one of them.

Got all I paid for and passed. So a great experience for me.

I paid a £175 deposit for a driving course booked online. After requesting a refund within what I understood to be the statutory cooling-off period, the company refused, relying on a clause in their terms stating that all deposits are non-refundable and that the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 do not apply. I cancelled within 48 hours of a booking, across a weekend, so it's hard to see what loss the company suffered.

I was disappointed by this response, particularly as no lessons had commenced and I was not provided with evidence that substantial work had been carried out to justify retention of the full deposit.

In my view, the terms appear heavily weighted in favour of the company, and consumers should carefully review the cancellation and refund provisions before booking.

I have since raised the matter formally and requested repayment of the deposit.

I booked the intensive course after struggling to get over the last hurdle to being test ready. It was easy to book. I was assigned an instructor in my area really quickly who turned out to be absolutely amazing & I passed first time!

Even with a million questions thrown at them.
The instructors are excellent and have great knowledge and support.
I had a mr Mubin Patel and he was so paitent and fantastic and told me the truth that I didn't need the amount of hours I booked infor.

Great service, well organized. Instructor was excellent and patient. Grandson passed with flying colours first time with intensive lessons (after two previous attempts on my own). Highly recommend this school for driving.

Via the company - I was connected with my instructor and all the logistics of my test booking were catered for accordingly. After a few weeks of lessons I was at a competent point in my driving as to then practice on the weeks leading up to the test. I passed first time.

Efficient and professional from start to end

I originally booked my lessons with the theory and test package but realised I’d selected the automatic and no theory options. I sent a quick email, and the team fixed everything for me immediately, no fuss.
My instructor was excellent and made the whole process enjoyable. Thanks to their guidance, I passed my test with only two minors It was a great experience.

NEW UPDATE: Company claiming "wrong address" to avoid £900+ CCJ

I am posting a new update as the company has finally made contact, but only to offer further excuses. They are now claiming the County Court Judgment (CCJ) was served to the wrong address.

This is factually incorrect:
• Proof of Service: I have confirmed with the court that the address used was correct. I hold the Proof of Service and the final judgment showing it was delivered to their registered office.
• Communication: Despite having the correct details now, they have blocked my number and are not responding to emails regarding payment.
• Company Links: I urge anyone considering One Intensive Lessons UK to cross-check Smart Bookings on Companies House. Look at the history of other companies attached to these directors and their shareholdings.
• Evidence: I have provided my CCJ claim number and evidence of my experience to Trustpilot’s integrity team. I have also escalated this matter to a journalist.

If you are unsure, DO NOT BOOK. Only the verified 1-star reviews here reflect the reality of dealing with this business.

Booked with an instructor quickly and managed to get my test date moved up two months too! Passed first time with Chennel absolutely recommend!

I've never experienced such a rippoff in my life. We paid in August 2025 for lessons and a test and are still waiting for the 'Intensive course' to be completed. Intensive course my foot. It started off when my grandson took a days unpaid leave for the test but the instructors car was out of commission. After that it all went downhill with no further test being booked and no more lessons. I asked for a refund and they gave me a pittance. I should have received at least £300 and they gave me £112. They took off the cost of the test, which didn't happen due to their fault, and they refunded me for 2 hours lessons which he never had, but they calculated it at £50 for 2 hours. All in all they charged me £300 for 2 hours lessons which he had received at the beginning. An extremely unprofessional company and one to be avoided
