Whole process was completely seamless and very quick.

Op 20 september 2026 heb ik via Indonesia Portal Sheridan twee visumaanvragen voor Indonesië ingediend en betaald. Tot op heden heb ik geen enkele bevestiging van mijn aanvragen ontvangen.

Ik heb vervolgens per e-mail contact opgenomen met de klantenservice om te vragen waar onze bevestiging bleef. Helaas heb ik ook daarop geen enkele reactie gekregen.

Op de website wordt aangegeven dat het visum uiterlijk 48 uur voor vertrek per e-mail wordt toegestuurd. Maar hoe moet je daar als klant op vertrouwen als je na betaling niet eens een bevestiging ontvangt en er bovendien niet op je e-mails wordt gereageerd?

Indonesia Portal blijkt een commerciële tussenpersoon te zijn en geen officiële Indonesische overheidswebsite. De onderneming is gevestigd in Sheridan, Wyoming, Verenigde Staten. Dat op zichzelf hoeft geen probleem te zijn, maar het gebrek aan communicatie en transparantie vind ik absoluut onacceptabel.

Je betaalt voor een dienst die je vertrouwen en zekerheid zou moeten geven, maar krijgt vervolgens helemaal niets te horen. Voor een visumaanvraag, waarbij je afhankelijk bent van tijdige en correcte documenten om op reis te kunnen gaan, is dat ronduit frustrerend.

Mijn advies aan andere reizigers: maak niet dezelfde fout als wij. Vraag je visum rechtstreeks aan via de officiële website van de Indonesische immigratiedienst. Daarmee voorkom je dat je afhankelijk wordt van een tussenpersoon die niet reageert.

Ik zou deze website op basis van mijn eigen ervaring absoluut niet aanbevelen. Geen bevestiging, geen reactie en vooral geen vertrouwen meer in deze organisatie.

This website gives a first impression of a government website. They charge for something that is completely free and on the same difficulty level. Still had to go to the actual Indonesian government website to reconfirm/redo everything. The arrival card service I used is of no value whatsoever.

They use psychological pressure, such as a countdown timer on a credit card info page, and false information - such as it takes days to "process" the application, unless you pay extra. In reality it is done instantly, if through official channel, and free.

Indonesian authorities actually warn against using services such as this one. The only legitimate way is through the official government of Indonesia channel. After I realized my mistake, I applied for another arrival card for free the proper way, and that's the one I'll be using. The fees I paid are a complete loss.

For new travellers, it would be helpful if the filling in the details for the eArrival form cand be done during Check In process. Less anxiety for the travellers.

I found the site relatively easy use, it worked first time for me but not for my Daughter-in-law. My Arrival card email came on the day stated and the link for my eVOA was very easy to get and use.
