My leather cafe racer jacket fit right out of the box. The workmanship and materials are very good, it was priced right and the thing smells great. Say hallelujah! I'm pleased with the jacket and plan on ordering another in lambskin.

Jacket I received for $400 looked like something out of a cartoon. I gave them extremely accurate body measurements (I don't understand why that's not enough to make a jacket) and accurate measurements off my best fitting hoodie. Short of going to a tailor, I have no clue how I would get better measurements.
They have a strict no refund policy. Refusing me a refund even though they hadn't even started production yet. I know this because they said as much.
At my most optimistic I'd say that if you've had custom jackets made for you before and have perfect measurements. This service might work for you. Anyone outside of those exact parameters shouldn't touch this company with a 10 foot pole.
I can't comment on the quality of the jacket because I'm unable to even wear mine. Atrocious company.

I got two jackets and was extremely satisfied with both. I am 6'8 tall and therefore it is extremely difficult to impossible to find a well fitting coat of that rack. Customer service was great and helpful and both jackets fit great. Bit of a wait to receive the product but its worth it. Have never felt a coat fit so well and legit get complements all the time.

Before Ind Bros ever coat I ever had fell short of my wrists or did fall far enough to my waist and looked ridiculous. These jackets are both high quality and fell amazing.

Though I was initially very excited for this jacket, I found it to be lacking. Just because they get certain measurements correct, does not mean that a jacket fits you properly. Customer service (Maria) was rude, and eventually just stopped answering.
I am now stuck with a jacket that doesn't fit correctly and for which I have absolutely no use.
Do not, under any circumstances do business with these people.

I held onto a fake leather jacket for years because I loved the design and wanted to get it made into a real one, these guys did exactly that and I’m beyond impressed with the quality of my leather jacket. It looks about 3 times better than the old fake one and sits damn near perfect on my body. I remember my girlfriend’s face and her being stunned when she saw me wear it for the first time. It’s very quickly become one of my favorite clothing items I own, and based off the quality, hopefully I’ll have it for many years to come. This company and group is also outstanding to work with. Jacket is stylish, high quality and as far as I can tell so far, very durable. Shipping took a little longer than they advertised but other than that, I cannot recommend them enough!

I really liked my jacket, but unfortunately it started to fall apart less than a year after I bought it. I reached out to them and was told that this is normal, and therefore the warranty does not apply. Totally unacceptable for a $400 jacket!

I was a little apprehensive given some reviews, however I was pleasantly surprised with the jacket I received. I went for a custom biker style in lamb, and although it takes a while for the jacket to be made, the quality is very good.

The leather is thinner than, say a cow leather jacket, but it's about right for a lightweight fashion jacket. It's soft and supple, and the fit from the measurements I gave the company were spot on. I have awkward proportions so most off the shelf leather jackets fall too long for me, well below the pocket line and too long in the sleeve. Getting a custom fit one from Independence Brothers meant I could specify the precise length I needed, and it fits perfectly. There's no pulling or tightness anywhere, yet it is still a slimline, fitted fit.

Only negatives are the time it took the order to come through, and there is a bit of a chemical smell when you first take the jacket out of the box. Although this is easy to dispel.

It took 6 months to get an unwearable jacket. Made in Mexico, not the USA. I followed the sizing directions carefully and indicated that I would like a looser fit. What a got was a jacket shaped like a bell. Things are correct up to the shoulders and sleeves where they are at least 2 sizes too small. As an added bonus the colors bear no resemblance to those on the web site. The “custom” measurements are just a scam to prevent a return as they clearly don’t lead to correct results. Save your money and purchase somewhere else. Caveat Emptor

My Jacket came in today. It is everything I hoped for. I am planning to buy a brown one now. :)

Ordered in November it is now March and they cannot give a delivery date because they wait until they have a large enough order to maximize their discount, who needs a jacket in summer, also don't forget you only have 24 hours to change your mind. Don't be fooled by their online site once they get your money you are on your own..

I love my new leather jacket. It's gorgeous and fits absolutely perfectly. The color is tremendous, the leather first rate. I've been wearing it nonstop. I feel like this is my forever jacket and that every step of the way, all the way to years-of-wear distressed, this jacket will be a staple in my wardrobe and a showstopper. Thank you all so much for the extra effort you put into making it, and for taking the chance with doing the diamond quilting. I am so pleased and happy beyond my expectations.

I specifically sought out a small business to support and I’m glad I found independence brothers. The entire experience was top notch.

I love the options for customization, it really makes you feel like your jacket is your own. The measurement taking was mostly easy to follow with directions and photos. However I got this as a gift for someone and it was tricky getting the right measurements without giving it away. So I ended up letting him in on the secret so he could make a few key decisions about how he wanted it to fit, given this would be an investment piece and would not be adjustable after made.

The standard style is slim fit “X” shape, but he opted for the same measurements of his favorite jacket which was slim straight “II” shape. He was a good sport and pretended not to know what I was doing at first.

After submitting, the customer service rep responded quickly and addressed concerns I had about the style/fit. They were able to customize my order even further.

On arrival, first try-on fit like a glove (even after extending the measurements) so he can wear 1-2 thin layers underneath but probably not a hoodie. But all good bc I got the technical bomber with the hood! I would definitely be aware that the jacket is slim fit snug and be generous in adding extra inches to the relaxed fit if you want it looser or to be able to wear layers underneath.

The link to check for status was a great way to check in but honestly I told myself it was going to be a while and I didn’t even check more than once before it arrived. I ordered end of November and it arrived early January. Very nice packaging and presentation. The new owner of the gifted jacket loves it!

The bag is awesome and well made. I will gladly do business with them again.

I am incredibly happy with the new jacket. The quality is very high, and the fit is excellent. Everything is exactly as I had selected during the order process, and it even arrived more quickly than I was anticipating. At first it was pretty stiff, but that is to be expected with good full grain leather. After giving it a light application of Leather Honey leather conditioner, and wearing it around the house for a couple of days, it broke in perfectly, and now is "like a glove". Thank you Independence Brothers!

High value leather jacket for the price. You won't find better quality and fit anywhere at this price point.

I ordered a custom jacket for a model I found online and Independence Brothers did a fantastic job replicating the jacket from the pictures I sent them! Also their online measurement app is absolutely bang on. The jacket fits me like a glove...
Lastly they are very responsive to any problem you might encounter or any queries you might have as well! Overall if I were to order another jacket, Independence Brothers would be my go to shop...

I absolutely love Independence Brothers! As a smaller guy it is hard to find a well fitting leather jacket but they solved that issue for me! Not only did my jacket fit perfectly but it was great quality and they're wonderful with communication. Great customer service all around!
