HS Legal completed the legal work for the sale of my property. Throughout the process I found them to be very communicative, professional, and helpful. I was pretty much always able to get an email response to a query. I would recommend them highly.

At first we were sceptical to use HS legal but we have to admit it has been excellent. Jawad and the team have been incredibly responsive to our messages, often replying to us the same day! They have been great at chasing other solicitors in the chain and dealing with us when things unexpectedly changed. We would highly recommend them.

We had three properties to either buy or sell and we contacted our high street solicitor. The response was off-hand and extremely expensive and so we considered other solicitors or other methods. With other solicitors the response was much the same - getting no further than the receptionist and 'take it or leave it' quotation. For the first transaction, we explored on-line methods and contacted Conveyancing Index and we were duly supplied three relatively low price and competitive quotations to sell a property: we selected HS Legal. This was not without hesitation as we are not particularly computer-literate and could foresee that an on-line engagement would mean that we would need to manage documents through the Hoowla portal for legal case management and which H S Legal uses for document control.

The experiences over three transactions were.
We can recommend the selection of H S Legal as all tree cases were dealt with speedily and accurately.
Nothing is lost in not having a local solicitor: on-line works and fast.
Undoubtedly there are case workers involved but we had regular and personable e-mail contact with Jawad Mahmood which meant that there was always someone on our case and up to date. Any delays / hold ups were attributable to the other party's side.
Any hesitancy on conveyancing on-line, with the necessary computer skills, can be put to one side. There are things to learn and with which to become familiar - but it can be easily mastered.

Jawad Mahmood and the team were very helpful from the beginning to the end of selling my property and very patient with me, explaining everything thing, sometimes twice so that I understood the whole process. The price quoted was the price I paid, no hidden extras.
The only negative thing was the phone is not answered, I tried on 2 occasions to get a quick answer but no reply but the email was answered in a couple of hours!
So one big thank you to Jawad and team, I would certainly recommend you.

This company was the worst I have used.
They didn't communicate with the other solicitors up or down the chain. They would email me and ask me to see if I could contact them directly on their behalf.
When you call, you get through to a call center that puts you through, but they never answer.
Even on completion day, down the chain completed at 1pm, my purchase didn't complete till 4pm.
They sent a completion settlement figure which contained the house purchase price plus their fees. When this was paid, they said I had sent too much and they needed my bank details to reimburse me and charge me £40. The whole process was very stressful and I truly wouldn't recommend them.
