Experienced Solicaters with patience

At this initial stage, your service is excellent and quick responding.

I haven’t received a reply to my email that I sent 2 weeks ago about air travel compensation that I am trying to trace for my son.

Pretty well straightforward.

My daughter had been having some issues claiming compensation from an airline, so contacted these, but in the meantime the airline paid up. This firm then claimed a fee from her of half the refund paid. The fee had not been explained to her on the phone and is only tucked away in the small print. Bill paid due to harrassing letters and emails, even though she would have received the refund without them, off her own claim. She had already lost a considerable amount of money on the holiday due to the airline and was left abandoned in a foreign country - even kicked out of the airport. Then gets doubly scammed. Would avoid.

From the first meeting I felt confident that the probate process was in very safe hands. Requests and instructions were always clear and concise. I was always kept up to date with developments and likely timescales. Clarification, guidance and advice was delivered in a way which was easy to understand and I would not hesitate to recommend Jane Molden.

I had the worst experience with these solicitors. They went AWOL for months, were frequently unresponsive and I felt I did most of the legal work on my own. I honestly fear they have not completed my house sale properly!

Their communication is a void, their competence is questionable, and their operational reliability is effectively nonexistent. Engaging them introduces unnecessary risk, wasted time, and avoidable frustration as there is no scenario in which this firm represents a safe or efficient choice for mortgage conveyancing.
Their performance was objectively dysfunctional. Communication ZERO, process management, and advisory output all failed at the most basic operational level. Even brokers were shocked by the behaviour observed, consistent with systemic incompetence, not isolated error.

As mentioned by a few others, I was assigned the very same “Ranjit” (supposed director), who never talks on the phone. It doesn’t matter how many questions you have, how confused you might be as a client, he never talks to you. Only emails, repetitive emails. Ask 5 questions in an email, you’re lucky if he answers more than one.

The firm did not “communicate”; it emitted repetitive noise. Every response was a recycled paraphrase with zero informational payload. No clarification, no detail, no progression.
The repetition of meaningless paraphrasing suggests either a lack of understanding of conveyancing processes or an inability to articulate them. Both possibilities indicate a severe competence deficit.

The firm provided no guidance whatsoever. No risk warnings, no procedural context, not a single strategic advice. Their advisory output was effectively null.

I have worked in property for 9 years now and I have never seen such a poor service provided as I have in my recent transaction with Mylawmatters and specifically Abraham George. Not only does he have very little talent as a solicitor the customer service is so terrible it worries me about the interview process for this company if he was able to be hired (please keep in mind this bad service is a company wide thing they are all rude horrible and bad solicitors). If you are foolish enough to appoint these as your solicitor do expect to never speak to your solicitor and only their assistant and say goodbye to same day replies. Genuinely I say this from the bottom of my heart you couldn’t pay me to use MYLAWMATTERS as a solicitor not in a million years!

We are coming towards the end of the conveyancing process for me and my partner as we are purchasing our first house. Our designated solicitor was Manleen Sidhu and I can't speak on behalf of the other solicitors as I've only ever gone through Manleen and Manleen has been amazing throughout. Consistently updating us and explaining everything throughout. We have recently become first time parents and the fact Manleen has made everything so stress free and simple for us has made the world of difference. We definitely lucked out in regards to who was given our case file as she has been fantastic and we appreciate all she has done and continue to do.

I had a really good experience with My Law Matters. The team was friendly, professional, and always kept me updated throughout the process. Communication was clear, and everything was handled smoothly, which made buying my home much less stressful. The worst service from what are suppose to be professionals. We used this solicitors when buying our house and would never use again. We had to chase everything. Massive delays with no real explanation every time we contacted our point of contact a lady named Manleen the blame was just passed around with no real resolution.

After we finally completed we was owed cash back which was dealt with through the solicitor. The amount of cash back was a drop in the ocean compared to the house deposit, solicitor fees, stamp duty etc.. which they demanded there and then even though really we had 14 days after completion to pay our stamp duty. I contacted Manleen a couple of days after completion to asked how we go about the cash back. Was told that in a couple of days after all funds cleared off account she would contact us to organise transferring the cash back. A week later no contact, I emailed and emails where ignored. Until almost 2 weeks later I sent another email and finally got a phone call from Manleen. She never contacted us for our bank statements after the funds had cleared so if I had not chased we probably would still be waiting for this.

The money eventually came back to us but was short by £35. Apparently this was another fee that was added and was included on our completion statement which Manleen emailed across again to “remind us” luckily I had the original completion statement infront of me which had no mention of the cash back on it at all. Manleen had edited the statement and sent it to make it look like it was on there. When I said I have the original in front of my that was sent before completing she didn’t know what to say, as she knew she had just added it on there and then so more lies told.

I have asked for a email to make a formal complaint as our whole experience with this firm has been terrible and unprofessional and still am awaiting the email for this.

This company insist on a up front fee of £400 before they even begin any work which we paid, then expect everything else to be sent in one there and then just before completion when certain fees such as the stamp duty we was well within our rights to send at a later date, but we followed their instructions and sent it all. It seemed like the minute we was owed a bit back we had to jump through hoops and chase it.
