I sought out Horizon for my child, and with Mark Jeffrey's help we have seen marked improvement to our teens mental health. As a parent it can be very difficult to see your child hurting and from the outset I was reassured that Mark would looks out for my child's needs

Horizon has helped me immeasurably. Mark Jeffrey is an amazing person, he is honest and thoughtful and over the course of a few months I was able to talk and work through the some of the issues I was facing. It has given me a new perspective on life that will help me going forward. I would recommend Horizon to anyone who is thinking about having counselling. You will be making an excellent decision.

Mark has worked with my son over the past 5 months. The difference has been unbelievable. The tools and strategies given by Mark had been used very quickly by my son in situations he found difficult. The trust was built up very quickly. My son is now feeling more empowered and confident in himself and tackling things he was struggling with. He needed someone that wasn't Mum to listen and help, and by going to Mark he gained another trusted adult. A man destroyed his confidence so having a man to help rebuild it was crucial. I'm so relieved and grateful.

I was counselled by Stacey Morrish and found her to be very compassionate, warm and friendly. I found our sessions together extremely valuable, and appreciated being able to contact her by email between sessions for advice. She really emphasised the importance to me of self-compassion, which I am glad to say I now have and learning this has changed everything for the better in my life and relationships. I would highly and gladly recommend Stacey for both individuals and couples.

My family and I were fortunate to find Alan at Horizon when my daughter was going through a difficult time. From the moment we stepped in, it was clear her well-being was genuinely cared about. Alan was not only highly skilled but also incredibly compassionate. The support my daughter received was life changing. She was provided a safe space for her to express her thoughts and feelings with Alan’s guidance , she developed coping strategies that have made a world of difference in her life.

Alan at Horizon supported our business by offering some counselling sessions during a restructure. We had lots of positive feedback from staff who felt that the sessions were useful for them. Subsequently, we have continued to use Alan and Horizon to provide counselling sessions to employees within our business on an adhoc basis. Horizon is always prompt at reaching out to the individuals to book in their sessions and we really appreciate their support and expertise.

Alan came to my workplace to deliver a presentation for World Suicide Prevention Day 2023. It was a brilliant event as Alan's speech fitted perfectly into the type of business and provided a very uplifting message for our people. With Alan's help, they learned how to handle such a difficult topic, which can result in being more open about their feelings and more likely to share them. Thank you Alan!

Mark and his team were by far some of the most professional people I've ever dealt with. Mark really helped me get through a very dark time in my life and I am very grateful.

Horizon provide free support to vulnerable and disadvantaged children who use our charity. In may cases they are oiften seeking emergency help and by having the Horizon team as our partners we are avble to get them the help they need quickly. Each child has emerged from their experience with a much better mind set and in a better place. Without the support from the Horizons team, many young people would be struggling- they are simply life changers !

Mark was great with me from the start. He has helped me put things in perspective. He has helped me see life as going forward and not to hold onto the past. I found Mark open and honest and gave me some great advice.

After so many battles with CAMHS over the last 5 years. I thought there was no help I could find for my child who has been struggling with Gender and Body Dysmorphia.
Thank God for Mark. Finally someone my child could engage with. Mark has been patient, consistent and an absolute star. My child has found someone they trust 100% that has helped them to build their confidence and feel heard and appreciated as well as being given strategies to continue to cope. I have been going to Horizon for the past year and a half and can wholeheartedly say it has changed my life for the better. I started off with weekly visits with Mark, who gradually helped me see things in a better light. I still book meetings from time to time as I find the help I receive at Horizon to be invaluable.

Claire has been an absolute god send. As a therapist she is skilled and incredibly attentive (her memory for recalling details even from weeks or months back is impressive).

She is worth every single penny and will be the first person I contact if I ever find myself in crisis again.
