When I first visited Stacey I was not in a great place mentally, however through the sessions Stacey listened and gave calm reasoned advice. She really helped me feel better and gave me tools to manage emotions and feel at peace. Thank you!

I’ve been going for 6+ months now and been seeing Jasper Van Es. He’s been incredibly helpful and has taken everything I’ve needed help with and run with it. He’s helped me so much already and I’m excited to carry on with him. He adapts and learns the ways that help me most and allows me to explain how things make me feel.

I am honestly beyond grateful to Ilze for the space she gave us to talk out our issues and end our therapy stronger than ever. She was consistently professional and understanding. She never made us feel judged. I am so thankful we found Ilze and Horizon counselling.

I had a really great counselling experience at Horizon with Ilze for the past a few months. I started in August and had 16 sessions since. My mental well-being has improved significantly, all thanks to Ilze who was willing to listen to me and help me resolving my personal issues! I was so confused when I started and couldn’t understand why I was feeling in a certain way. Throughout the journey, Ilze was able to guide me, allowed me to reconnect with my emotion, and understand why I’m feeling in certain ways. It has been a wonderful journey of self discovery!

If you’re considering counselling, I’d 100% recommend give Horizon a go, and especially recommend Ilze if you have similar issue with your feeling and your emotions. The changes didn’t happen overnight, but it’s totally worth it and you’ll see the result of your effort!

I started going to see Stacey in 2021 after the traumatic death of my husband and the life changing decisions I had to make. I can honestly say that if it wasn't for Stacey I really don't know where I would be today but I know it would not have been a good place. She allowed me the time and space to grieve and most of all listened allowed me to share my emotions, fears and most of my loss. This is a life changing experience one I wish I didn't have to do but I could not do this without Stacey she really is a lifesaver, thank you Stacey for everything.

I’ve been seeing him for years now, at first due to a very hard time in my life but now just for “maintenance” every now and then.

Booking in and working with Alan has genuinely been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, his expertise has helped me in getting my life to where I wanted to be and the tools he taught me allows me to deal with stress and low moments when they arrive.

I've been using Horizon Counselling now for around 8 months and I have found the experience exceptionally helpful and beneficial.

Following an avalanche of bad news in the first half of 2024 I felt that I needed guidance on navigating through it but also on self improvement and ways to minimise the risk of repeating the same mistakes.

I have worked with Stacey for my duration with Horizon and she has helped me to deal with not only the here and now, but also by delving into the past has unlocked an awareness of the root cause of some challenges that I never would have been able to attain on my own. These combined with a preemptive toolset of coping and management techniques have been nothing short of revolutionary for me.

Whilst I am still on the journey myself, I can recommend, in the highest possible terms, engaging with Horizon if you have the slightest inclination that it will be beneficial for you.

Alan and the team at horizon are amazing, they have helped me through a really tough time and showed me a better way of thinking which has had a great impact on my day to day life. I recently found Horizon after going through a tough period of time. Although I haven’t been with them long, Alan has been fantastic. He is patient, understanding and for the first time I really believe there is a light at the end of how I am feeling. It took me a while to make the decision to seek counselling services but I am very glad I did and very grateful to Alan for the time he has given to me. If you like me, find yourself putting off getting help, I can promise you that you won’t regret coming to see Alan. I can’t express enough how grateful I am for his support.

I have been working with Tony at Horizon over the last four months and I can honestly say it has been absolutely lifechanging. I was apprehensive about starting counselling but after a couple of sessions I knew it was exactly what I needed. Tony is absolutely amazing, intuitive and selfless. He understood my needs quickly and helped me work through some very difficult things. I feel like a completely different person and ready to tackle each day. If you are looking for a counsellor I highly recommend Tony, you will not be disappointed.

Emma is one of the kindest people I've ever met. Every session she makes me feel safe. Safe to express how I feel about what I'm going through. Never judgemental and listens, like proper listens. She is very patient and understanding. Never makes me feel stupid or that what I have to say is invalidated. I truly believe she is an angel sent to me from God to help me get closer to my soul. She is quite simply amazing.

Stacey at Horizon has had a huge positive impact on my life and mentality.

After each and every appointment I left feeling like my life was so clear, in a way I’ve never experienced before. I understood myself on a whole new level, my thoughts, my behaviours and my beliefs about myself.

My confidence has grown tremendously since meeting with Stacey, but most importantly I am more compassionate towards myself, my authentic self. The person I am happy to be, I’m no longer ashamed or worried or anxious.

Don’t get me wrong, the thoughts still exist, but understanding your thoughts can open a whole new mentality for you and give you space to have compassion and belief in yourself.

I’m so thankful to have met Stacey and learn so much from her. I am pausing my counselling journey for now due to other commitments but I will be back and Stacey will be my go to.
