Gave my daughter the confidence to read out loud
My daughter was having trouble reading and hooked on phonics helped her so much she now has the confidence to read out loud. She even reads to her little brother now.

Improvements could be made
I love how stuctured and simple this program is to follow. I strongly dislike how the program glitches on the screen and costomer service although responds quickly they do not always read what you wrote completely through. I dislike the auto send of work book packs although I see it benifiting some I wish there was an option to not have it on auto send as some kids work through at a slower pace and it is inconvinent that you have to keep going in the account to delay the send of these packets.

He is reading real books now!
The book exercises and app helped my 1st grader get over the major roadblocks he had to being a real reader. The small books are appropriate for the specific phase of learning he is in and give him confidence to read more. He read "Green Eggs and Ham" to me last night!

I'm not sure if it's because my son has…
I'm not sure if it's because my son has ADHD or what. He just kept complaining about being bored, and overall just lost interest. He's already advanced in his class Pre-K. So maybe he felt like he was wasting his time.
