We had sold our home and we needed a Camera brought in to check our sewer line after the line was cleaned and Home Serve refused the camera.
Ver disappointed with the level of service & expertise. Two Salespeople (they called themselves technicians!) showed with one goal in mind to Sell a new AC unit. They didn’t even check the unit with any tools. Immediately condemned the unit. After requesting to check the unit properly, they found the motor was likely damaged. The replacement cost $2000. However, they warned me that they couldn’t check the compressor condition & it maybe wasting my $. They proposed a new special program for replacing the whole unit @ $270.00 + tx monthly for 10 years totaling $34,668.00 calling this plan peace of mind for 10 years. When asked the average replacement price in full, they offered $12,000.00 to $13,000.00. I decided to get a second opinion. The REAL technician showed up within hours & tested the whole unit. The only issue was motor replacement & condenser cleaning which cost $600.00 versus $2,000.00 & offered the option of a replacement unit between $6,000.00 -$7,000.00 versus $13,000.00. My recommendation to stay away from this company and cancel the services recommended by FPL to maintain the AC unit, A TOTAL SCAM.
