We have had our Midea air source heat pump installed since September. We live in a 1950s semi, therefore it doesn’t have modern installation. The heat pump has dealt with wind rain and very cold weather this winter and has kept the house comfortably warm. The team that did the installation were hard working and extremely polite.

We had 2 pumps at different properties fitted and the service recieved has been excellent from every member of the improveasy team

HIES were very good at communication. They kept me up to date at all stages of my solar installation. It is good to feel you are backed if things were to go south although thankfully I didn’t need to use them. Their vetting of competent installers is valuable.

System working even in poor daylight

My first experience with Glow Green was November 2023. As an older person clear explanation was given.
What I failed to understand was patiently repeated an all the person involved continued in this way.
Eight panel were installed.
Two year later I knew instantly that I would return to the same company - this time four panels on my newly built garage. Straightforward installation with the same engineers/electricians.
I am so pleased and the work involved was excellent.

Wickes solar
Planning approval is not normally required for solar panels as it permitted development.
However what we did not find out for the best part of 6 months was the church that is 200 meters away from us has a preservation order on it, along with the bridge which 300 meters away also has a preservation order. It was not until we're 5 months in an I asked the planning office in south Derbyshire point blank why the kept changing the rules. From no charge to £550.00 and full planning form's to be complete and approved.
During the whole time Wickes Solar didn't hassle they just stayed calm and said as soon as I had any news to keep them updated, which I did.
It was as if SDDC didn't have a clue what they were doing. Typical examples were with full planning permission you have to notify neighbours and post on local notice board, they forgot, so it got delayed for another 4 weeks.
