We were having a battery system installed. It was all so straightforward. The engineer arrived as expected. He was friendly and professional. He explained everything so we could understand. The whole installation with paperwork, etc, all completed inside two hours. And it all works beautifully. No problems at all.

Great communication and reassuring efficiency knowing they have your back. Both in vetting the installers and guaranteeing the work.

From the beginning our point of call and sales was Bailey Boardman extremely polite and courteous and very knowledgeable through to the fitters that did our install. Again polite and courteous and clear explanation as to what they were doing. They were clean and tidy and left no mess. They explained how to use the app on my phone and put it into layman's terms on how the solar system works. First class work all around. I'm a very happy customer

Ask Renewables were always willing to help throughout the administration process. Claim for grant aid was efficiently handled. The installation and remedial action were expertly executed and promptly delivered.

This scheme ensured we had a good installer for our heat pump/battery/solar. There is a lot of negative news about this method of heating and our experience using a company on the HIES scheme was excellent.
Our 1965 built house is now much warmer and the bills are lower. Oh! and the gas meter has been removed.

HIES are a trade body who provide a service to the Solar Industry and it's customers. They vet the suppliers and installers and give insurance based guarantees to customers of its members, which SOLARhomes who i used are. One concern I had as wether HIES had checked the accuracy of SOLARhomes quote as one communication was not clear. They responded within hours confirming they had reviewed and potential savings in line with Industry standards. Would recommend if you looking to install a Solar/Battery System on your home you use a HIES member to design, supply and install your system.

I had some Solar Panels and Batteries fitted by Octopus Energy who, as part of the package, included HIES Insurance. Whilst I didn't envisage Octopus going bust in the few months between my order being placed and the work being carried out, it was very reassuring to know that even if they did my installation would still be covered.
