Sale prices not honored
Running shoes listed online with a sale price. I ordered & received an order confirmation. Then I received a notice that my order was cancelled & the price increased.

I felt like narrowly escaped some calamity after receiving the last of two refunds from them. Horrible experience for online shopping for sure!
I share other reviewers about Hibbett.com return/refund long time lines. I returned two pairs of track field shoes in one package because of fitting issue. Waited 9 days no trace of refund so called them, the rep put on an escalation, but found out later only one pair was refunded. Called again and after another escalation I got money back.
What I don’t understand is 1) Why 9 days after they received merch and no refund was issued; 2) after called them why only issue refund for one pair when they had both pairs sitting in their warehouse? It made me think had I not called, no refund would have ever been issued. Very questionable unethical business practices with this vendor. Would not use them in the future.
Item never received, customer service, a waste of time.
Placed an order 12 days ahead of when the item was needed, it was supposed to be here within 10 days. It looks like the product was sent out for shipping and never moved after that. When I called customer service, she said she'll submit a claim. I could do that myself, I wanted to know what happened and re-order the product. Customer service can't re-order the product, but I will get an email letting me know when I'll get my money back for the product they failed to send. So they took my money, held onto it and the product and can't re-order for me while I'm on the phone. I had to re-order, pay again and now wait again. Hope the kid likes the picture of the hoodie he wanted for his bday! I won't be ordering anything else from Hibbetts. The boy was nice at the Joplin, MO store I called hoping to find the hoodie in stock. He actually went out and looked to see what hoodies they have available for children.

I will not be shopping here any longer. I have been waiting on an item over a month. It’s stuck in transit and they will not refund my money. I will not recommend this place to anyone.
I ordered 2 pairs of sneakers
I ordered 2 pairs of sneakers. I returned them in the same box they were shipped to me. I only got a refund for 1 pair of sneakers. The other pair are just sitting in the warehouse somewhere. No one notified me to tell me that when sending then back I should have used 2 different shipping labels. When speaking with Eric (customer service) the day I shipped the sneakers back he said as long as I have the order number I will be fine. I'm out of money/nor was the second pair sent back to me. Where is the honesty in this company. I don't have money to give away or waste.

This is by far the most absolute worst company I’ve ordered from online! EVER!! They delivered the wrong item to me. I ordered Two pairs of KIDS shoes, Jordan 12s in October 2024…yet received a pair of all white men Air Force ones.Was instructed to go to the store to return. They gave me complete hell at the store but finally took the incorrect item back. I’m still without my kids shoes. Received partial refund, the price of the men shoe which was about the same as one of the kids sneakers…been trying since October to get remaining balance refunded. Now I’m being told since it’s past 60 days. They can’t do anything to resolve it. I’ve sent several emails since October and called only to be told it’s being escalated.
Don't buy @ store and ship to home!
We placed an order at the store and over waited two weeks for an order that was clearly lost in transit through their cheap shipping method "USPS". Contacted "customer no-service" and was told that I would need to wait another two weeks (10 days) until after the last transit update on the USPS website before I could even file a claim! What a joke! You take customers' money and expect them to wait over a month (30 days) before they can expect their product or request a refund! This is a "piss poor" policy and I would not recommend purchasing anything from Hibbetts where it needs to be shipped to your home!
Unappreciated Customer
In the past I have spent lots of money with Hibbett/City Gear. Recently I ordered 2 sweatsuits on January 5th 2025 & then another sweatsuit on January 8th 2025. These particular items were being shipped from their warehouse in Cincinnati Ohio!! It's now January 17th & I haven't received my orders!! I spoke to a customer service representative & a manager & all they can do is tell me that they can send me a refund in 4 to 7 business days after they took my money 4 minutes after I placed my order!! I was a very good customer & they lost me!! I will never buy another item from this company. When I was on the phone with the manager he should've offered me something for my inconvenience!! But he didn't, so I'm done!!

Disappointing experience
Review for Hibbett Sports
I had a very disappointing experience with Hibbett Sports. I purchased two pairs of tennis shoes, but one pair was never sent. Instead, I received a note saying the shoes were out of stock and that I needed to call to request a credit. I called multiple times, but the credit was never issued. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company, and they are still working on resolving the issue.
For the second pair of shoes, they were too big for my child, so I returned them. I have confirmation that Hibbett Sports received the return on December 31, 2024. However, as of today, January 7, 2025, I still have not received the credit. When I contacted them, they said I needed to wait additional days, which is unacceptable.
This entire experience has been frustrating and unacceptable. I expected better service and accountability from Hibbett Sports.
Slowest Cheapest Shipping Option Used
Ordered numerous shoes and clothes from Hibbett-not as gifts just purchases thankfully. Ordered sneakers on the 14th shipped on 16th- sat in a hub with no scans from the 18th to the 26th before being picked up by USPS and delivered on the 27th. They don’t tell you upon ordering that they hand off your purchases for last mile (smartpost-google it) to be delivered by USPS so if your item arrives at the hub after the trailer pickup on Saturday it will sit there until the next week when another trailer is picked up from the depot. Im still waiting on a pair of shoes I ordered 12/21 (it’s 1/2) from 12/23-12/30(7 days) no scans sitting in depot since then no scans no idea when it’ll move again.
I’ll never buy an item from them again. $$$ on items shipped and handed off like trash taking weeks at a time to get to me. No thanks

Quick delivery
Quick delivery, half the price as competition, same product. I was worried because the shoes I ordered said "preschool size 3" and I was hoping for a Youth size 3.. I liked the price and was pleasantly surprised that they were actually a youth size 3. My daughter will be excited for her new cheer shoes.

Hibbett Sports has the worst customer service I've ever experienced the competence is so long it cannot even be measured not to mention their customer service centers in another country where everyone sounds kind but they are clueless no one listens and to resolve a problem it's like pulling a tooth it is absolutely nightmarish the type of money that I have spent and spend with this company they should at least have customer service that can do the job and those jobs need to be within the us and not Outsource to someone that doesn't have a clue I'm so frustrated at this point in my situation is they printed the label for my products and didn't put the correct city state and zip code so my package is being returned and all they're telling me to do is wait for a credit in two to three weeks and the package will be returned no one wants to call the Carrier and update my address they don't want to give me any discount to reorder a product that I didn't get because of their own fault it's just a shame and I asked to speak to supervisor that was yesterday we're over 24 hours now and of course I haven't gotten a call their customer service experience sucks

I will never order anything from Hibbett again. They are the worst with delivery time frames and then they just keep changing the dates after the deadline. The customer service representatives are no help. They just repeat the same thing. There is no such thing as one to two day delivery. I ordered something on the third. It was supposed to get to me by the 11th then they changed it to the 14th and I checked today and now my delivery date is the 17th very unprofessional and now I don’t wanna hear anything about holiday season because I get all of my other packages just fine within one to two days Not 14!

Received a box with NO shipping label- no bar code. No anything. Just a plain brown box. I had ordered one pair of Nike dunk lows size 13 men's. I received two pair of tennis shoes size 10.5. Interestingly enough, the packing slip was addressed to a lady in Sarasota, Florida. I immediately called Hibbett's to have a new pair of shoes shipped and these sent back. They could not verify where my package went. Refused to issue a refund and refused to re ship shoes. Imagine the ridiculousness of all of that?! I was told I had to send these random shoes back to Hibbetts get a refund on my order (that's this one was not ). What did that mean for the last who ordered these shoes? How was she to get a refund? Anyway, bc I had all the i formation of the lady who was supposed to get these shoes, I texted her and let her know I had her shoes, hoping she had mine. She did not- BUT two days later she received them and she shipped me mine and I shipped hers. This CITY GEAR-HIBBETTS online is a total farce. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING.
Very disappointed
Very disappointed. I placed an order during Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals and 2 weeks later received an email that my order was cancelled. When I reached out via online chat, I received a very long response as to why and when I tried to reply the agent ended the chat. Very poor customer service but it didn't end there. I called to speak to someone and when I got through, I asked for a supervisor. I was told that the reason my order was cancelled was because it went to review and was "flagged" as a resell. Not knowing entirely what this meant I asked what that meant and the response I got was that he could send me the terms and conditions. I said that all I was asking was how something like this happens and how we could rectify the situation. The supervisor Brian just kept repeating himself saying he could send me the terms and conditions.
I have never in my life experienced anything like this before. I'm offended and disappointed. This has got to be the WORST customer service I ever experienced. All I wanted was shoes for my kids for Christmas and this is what I got instead. I will NEVER order from or tell friends and family to order from this company ever again. It's a shame because they have good products.
