Thanks hg for your service. Well recommended. I waited 2 days from placing my order, which in all honesty was very quick. I will be using hg again as my local shop is a little high in price and doesn't stock half the items they do. As mentioned a1*******

Another warning... the good reviews online are all set up by friends and relatives, the people are useless. He then gets out of keeping your cash by telling you in the terms and conditions it states if items out of stock, no refunds issued. Spoke to someone 3 days ago called Jodie, may as well have just had a convo with a brick wall.

I ordered a product from hg hydroponics, unfortunately the product was discontinued. After reading some of the bad reviews I got worried. But it turned out fine. My order was refunded nearly £1000. So don't worry about some bad reviews on the internet, it's probably just competition of other conpanies. It's a perfectly reliable company, friendly and professional staff.

I recently made a purchase from HG Hydroponics and had a very postative experience from using their services. My order was delivered the very next day and the customer services were great and my correspondence with one of the employees, Lois, was very helpful and reassuring as she went out her way to email me and phone me with details and to answer questions etc.
I would recommend them and use them again.

I called the office Friday for a next day delivery. I spoke to Becky initially to check stock on the items I ordered then to take payment, however my card bounced. Jodie took payment finally on my secondary card & Lois kept me updated sending tracking & even called out of office hours too check my delivery. I received my items Saturday which I paid next day delivery on as needed urgently! I cannot fault these guys at hg hydroponics. Within 24 hours I received my nutes order. Thanks hg i'll see you soon 😄 Keep up the good work!!

Ordered a vast amount of equipment, they done their security checks and I had all items within a week.
Couldn't be happier (unless i got it all for free) with their service and communication (I have had worse communication from companies with better reviews).
I will be using them again for sure.

To anybody having the chance to read this before placing an order : DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

Truly incompetent staff. On the 5 items I ordered, 3 weren't in stock, or maybe none were. What they do is that they lie to you so remain patient. They don't pick up the phone and you feel like you're emailing different people who try to speak as one.
After a week of trying to get news they suddenly have another item missing! I got lucky because I paid via Paypal so I was protected and I could get a refund.

Oh and don't bother telling them that you need something urgently : they don't care and they will lie to you so you do not cancel the order.
Please avoid them.

PS : their shipping costs are 2-3 times greater than most grow shops.

EDIT (answer to their reply) : I do not want your help, no need to get in touch with me as I want to stay away from your incompetence. The fact that you decided to contact me 8 months after I placed the order illustrates my statement perfectly. You don't even deserve 1 star.

My last remark was about your ridiculously high EU shipping costs.

My recent encounter with this website has left me utterly disappointed. I had high hopes when I placed an order, expecting it to be dispatched on the same day as they had claimed. However, an extensive amount of time has passed, and I have not received the item nor received any updates regarding its status.

In my desperate attempt to resolve this matter, I have diligently sent multiple emails and made numerous calls to their customer support. Regrettably, not a single response has been received. The complete absence of communication is utterly unacceptable and has resulted in an abysmal customer experience.

The false promises made by the website, coupled with their blatant disregard for customer communication, have left me with a lingering sense of frustration. I cannot stress enough how disappointing this entire ordeal has been. Based on this appalling experience, I strongly advise against engaging with this website. A reliable and responsive customer experience should be the bare minimum, and unfortunately, this website has failed miserably to deliver on that front.
