Still trying to charge me 180£ for…

Still trying to charge me 180£ for three months of broadband on a contracted rate of £21.50 a month. Still havent applied the free months of BB promised after 5 werrks of no Internet.

Useless company, genuinely the only reason they are 4* is because of their engineers.

They cant do any think right.

They cant do any think right.
I asked for a referral a friend code so myself and my friend could get £50 Amazon vouchers each. My friend said the code did not work phoned up hey broadband and they reply was the code would not work because myself needs to speak to the person who referred me. I try to explain and to say that no one referred me as I took a broadband on myself. I am trying to a refer,friend can’t do nothing right

Regular outages and highly unreliable

I’ve had a very poor experience with Hey BroadBand. The service is highly unreliable, with regular outages that last anywhere from a few hours to several days at a time. If you rely on your broadband for work or anything essential, I strongly recommend having a backup plan or looking elsewhere.

4 days and still no Internet

4 days! How can you provide no Internet for 4 days? Every day your poor support team say "we're told it will be back by 5pm" and each day at 5pm I get a message about "circumstances beyond our control". I just want Internet. It can't be that hard, can it? My friends and neighbours seem to have Internet. I cannot wait for my contract to end!

This was due to a local network issue in your area which required ongoing engineering work. While initial estimates were provided, in some cases faults can take longer to resolve than expected depending on the complexity of the repair.

We understand how frustrating repeated delays are, especially when updates change, and we apologise for the disruption and communication not meeting expectations.

Our engineers have been working to restore service as quickly as possible, and we appreciate your patience while this was resolved.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. WOULD GIVE NO STARS IF I COULD.
This company have taken out their services at my property without my knowledge but in my neighbours name. She signed up to them at her address after pushy doorstop selling, she then cancelled within the permitted timescale, they have then made another account at my address in her name. I am now receiving debt collector letters at my home with my neighbours name. Hey Broadband have been informed numerous times by my neighbour this is incorrect but they still persist. I have sort legal advise and they do not have a leg to stand on but unfortunately they continue to hound my property.

Fast but expect downtime

It’s great when the network is working. However, they are slow to resolve network problems. Their communication during network downtime is appalling. We’ve had 3 outages in the last 12 months that have lasted more than a day.
Update: Uptime for the last week is 43% in my area. If a consistent connection is important for you, I’d look elsewhere

We’re sorry for the disruption caused by recent outages. From our records, there has been a local network issue in your area which required ongoing engineering work. While we aim to resolve faults as quickly as possible, some cases do take longer than initially expected.

We also recognise your concerns around communication during downtime. While updates are shared where available, we understand this didn’t meet expectations and will be fed back internally.

Daniel from the Tech Team was very helpful in resolving issues with slow internet speeds. He was understanding, listened carefully to my concerns, and made every effort to escalate the issue and secure a prompt resolution.

Being hassled for unknown charge 6 months after cancelling

I am extremely shocked by the service I've had during my 2 yr contract. I had to call them out several times due to me getting no signal/interference. I wanted to cancel, but was still in my contract. So I asked for a cancellation date and sat back waiting for it. During this time I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer of my esophagus. I've barely been home this last year spending over 8 months in total in hospital after 5 operations. I rang to cancel Heybroadband last August/September. I was told, no problem, a box would arrive for me to send back the router. Which I did. I'm now in a hospice after 5 months in hospital. Over the last 3-4 weeks I've been getting continues calls from Heybroadband saying I have an outstanding bill. I've asked them to explain where this has come from, as I've had no letters or emails telling me this. And should I received a final bill when I cancelled?
I've asked a number of times, sent emails, even to the complaints department 3 days ago. All I keep getting is text saying I am going to be past on to debt collectors.
Am I asking too much for an explanation? I am still very unwell, and this is seriously stressing me out. There are no managers or supervisors to talk to or email? I feel they've just plucked this figure out of thin air. Why wasn't I told at the time of cancelling? Why wait 5 months to stay hassling me?
I just don't know what to do! It's not a massive amount, but I'm not paying until they can provide a breakdown etc.
Any advice please?
