Easy to cook
HelloFresh has made my life so much easier. I don’t have to do shopping anymore because they send all the ingredients, and they’re always fresh. The recipes are simple to follow, so cooking is quick and stress-free.
I love that I get to choose my menus each week from their selection. It’s lovely having meals I actually want to eat without the planning.
Highly recommend if you want fresh food without the hassle!

Normal menu is okay but the good stuff is far more expensive. Favourites don't come back on the menu so can't re-order them. Missing ingredients are a big issue and occurring frequently. Customer service phone line good but web chat and self reporting for missing incredieients rarely work.

SCAM – Please be careful when ordering.
They take your card details at the start and advertise a cheaper first box price (for example, €27). However, the website is very confusing. Food selections are pre-chosen at a much higher premium, and a significantly larger amount was taken from my bank account without my permission.
I’m not the only person this has happened to — others I know have experienced the same issue. Customer service may offer a “half-price box” or a partial refund to bring the cost closer to what you originally agreed to pay, which feels like an attempt to stop people from pursuing the full refund for the higher charge.

This is a great concept but…….
This is a great concept, the food is high quality, fresh and delivered exactly as advised. Only issue I had was I only had to look at the website and I received a delivery. No “check order” or “pay”. So unfortunately I closed my account so hopefully I won’t receive any more meals.

Great service overall!
I can plan meals up to four weeks in advance, which saves a huge amount of time otherwise spent deciding what to cook, walking through shops, and trying to organise everything. It’s also helped us cut down on random spending.
We’ve been using HelloFresh for about six months now, and I still haven’t had to repeat a recipe—the variety is excellent. Whether it’s vegetarian, beef, pork, chicken, or fish, there’s always something for everyone.
The ingredients are consistently fresh, and delivery has been reliable every time. Customer service has also been very helpful whenever we’ve had a question or issue.
The only downside is that while there are great offers for new customers — like 50% off the first box and discounts on the next few, a gift, or free desserts — it would be nice to see some rewards or perks for loyal, long-term customers as well.

Too much pork
If you are too late checking the order you end up with a meal with unwanted ingredients. In my case pork. It is not possible to block out ingredients for follow up meals.

Tackling food wastage
It’s great to plan ahead and have the food you’re going to eat delivered to your door.
No more ‘What will we eat’!
Of course this eliminates food wastage.
Mind you a lot of good packaging but it’s all recyclable.

We are a family of 7 - two adults and five children and we find that a box for 4 adults feeds us all so it works out better value per week, no waste and no having to think about recipes and what to cook in a busy house
