Blackmore Renewables are a great company to trust with a heat pump installation.They fitted mine in July and I am really pleased with the result.They treated me and my home with respect and it was a pleasure to have them around.

After researching heat pumps for quite a while, for me there was only ever going to be one company to start the journey with, and that was Heat Geek.

Morfield Heating and Plumbing Services are Heat Geek accredited and one morning James turned up to survey my property. Straight away I knew I was dealing with someone who would deliver a system that fully satisfied my requirements. He explained everything in detail, what I could expect from the installation and answered all my questions and concerns. Very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and a good sense of humour too. A few days later I accepted the quote and shortly after that received an installation date.

On Monday 3 August Lee and Harry arrived, briefed me on what to expect, started removing my redundant combi gas boiler and capped off the gas. At all times I was kept appraised of the installation process and any questions I had were always answered.

On the final day James arrived as well and between them made sure the system was working as it should, commissioned the installation and finalised the paperwork. They then ran through how to operate everything which was pretty straightforward and I now have a quality system that my solar and battery storage will complement.

I have to say that Heat Geek and Morfield were very easy to deal with. Questions by email answered very quickly and always had a bit of banter face to face which I always enjoy. I was also very impressed with the team work of Morfield. It’s quite obvious they enjoy what they do, are very good at what they do and get on well together. And finally, they left my house clean and tidy and took all their rubbish away with them. My driveway is actually cleaner than when they arrived!

A big thanks to everyone involved and I thoroughly recommend them. Rarely am I completely satisfied with everything but in this came I am.

The experience was smooth from end to end. Sam was polite and came across as experienced and knowledgeable. The installation was as unobtrusive as possible with such a big project. Despite having 4-5 people working round the house (we'd asked to have every radiator replaced), I was still able to work from home throughout and the disruption was minimal. All the work has been done neatly, including repairing the holes left by the old radiator, and the house was left tidy by the installers. The automated quote options were brilliant for comparing the potential choices and the efficiency guarantee is and added bonus. Overall, a very good experience.

James of JLD Gas & Renewables provided and excellent service. We were kept fully informed throughout the process and were free to contact by phone at any point if we had any questions. At the initial appointment, James completed a thorough assessment using the Heat Geek Zero Disrupt software and we were provided with a comprehensive report very quickly - all of which had been fully explained to us. The installation itself was professionally undertaken, including having to correct some of our existing pipe work which had been incorrectly fitted. All was left clean and tidy at the end of each day and we were ultimately supplied with and efficient heat pump system which is fully appropriate for our needs. The only minor set back was a delay in the delivery of the Heat Geek 250l water cylinder, which meant that James and his team had to go off site for 2 days. James was not responsible for this issue, which was clearly beyond his control; he equally undertook additional work to reinstall our old cylinder to ensure that we were not without hot water throughout this period. James also provided a return visit 1 week later to ensure that all was running well with the system - which it was.

Following our application we were kept fully informed of all the necessary steps within the process, and of any action that we personally needed to undertake. We were contacted promptly by our local installer who proved to be excellent from initial assessment to final installation. We would recommend Heat Geek to anyone considering a Heat Pump system.

Everything went according to plan, except for the gas connection being disconnected. We still needed gas in our utility room, so this resulted in and additional cost with our builders, which could have been avoided. Maybe something for heatgeek to add in initial work proposal form. if the client wants gas connection to be removed or not.

From the very beginning of the process, working with Heat Geek has give us the confidence to finally make the decision to install a heat pump: living in a 100 year old house with 100 year old drafts through floors, walls and roof was making us nervous about whether this was realistically and option, but the thorough appraisal of the property that was fed in to The Algorithm has enabled us to be confident that this can now be done. Overall project management has been excellent and Nick and his team at Duo Heating and Renewables, the recommended contractors, have been excellent in every way.

The care taken over the design and the precision of the installation were impressive. There were a couple of understandable delays which were communicated and explained to me. I'd have liked a little more protection of the surfaces in my kitchen, but most things were left tidy, and rubbish was all removed. They were generally helpful though.

Alex (Cortex Heating) was absolutely brilliant. From the outset when he did the original survey I felt confident. His work was extremely neat and his knowledge of the system that he fitted was fantastic and he was patient when he was asked rookie questions. Since the system has been fitted it has surpassed my expectations for keeping the house warm and I was surprised by how quickly hot water can be supplied by a heat pump. I would, without reservation, recommend Heat Geek and Cortex Heating for a heat pump installation. 

Heat Geek recommended Delta T as a preferred installer and I could not be happier. The website is easy to use, gives the best advice and make possible upgrades easy to understand with full pricing included. The zero disrupt install could have replaced my gas boiler without the need to upgrade anything else but I chose to upgrade my 26 year old water cylinder and I am extremely happy that I did. I would highly recommend Heat Geek to all of my friends and family

Heat Geek communications were spot on, there portal providing everything needed to get the job approved booked in and approved by DNO etc. Portal also took deposit and final payment invoices along with providing all documentation from initial quotation, DNO approval, gov discount and mcs certificates. Also all the system manuals etc in pdf format. Little video explained the process clearly, no hassle at all.

Great from start to finish, nice knowledgeable friendly guys. Answering any questions I had and worked late most day to less inconvenience the household. Even came up with a change in location to place Heat Pump first day on the job, different to where originally planned. Was our choice to go with new location but could have stuck to original plan. The guys even fix leak on the two radiators I changed out prior to start of work. Had a laugh and a joke as work progressed, just quick stress free install. They also remotely monitor system stats, will be making contact and maybe a return visit when weather cools and heating is actually used. Too warm at moment to have heating on. Hot water all working well without need for immersion heater. So all in all I am very pleased and satisfied with every aspect of the install and functionality thus far.

The best tradesmen experience ever. From the initial research on heat geek YouTube channel then booking the survey to the actual survey was the best process ever. Having the actual installer doing the survey works very well because you can ask questions and get the correct answers. The other quotes/surveys we had done were done by staff who didn't have the correct answers. The other quotes we had were much bigger pumps which were unnecessary and they wanted to change the water tank which we only had installed last year. Heat geeks used the existing tank and it works perfectly. The install went perfectly, very professional and completed on time, the handover was very informative and easy to understand. All in all I highly recommend Heat Geek for the best experience.

The process from the quote to booking the survey to receiving the certificates and making payments all went very well. Very easy to understand everything on the website

Always at the end of and email with exactly what I required. The only downside is that there isn't someone to speak to but, in reality, it isn't required once you have your local heat geek assigned to you.

There is a wealth of information available on the website for anyone thinking of making what we now realise is the obvious choice in low carbon technology.

Would be nice to have more information available about the DNO process as that took longer than any of the heat geek processes combined.

HeatGeek and Green Energy Renewables provided a great service from start to finish. Everyone involved in the installation of our Vaillant heat pump was professional, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly and the job was completed in a very short time with minimum disruption. The system works well, despite some other major installers saying it was impossible to fit in our house, and at a fraction of the price quoted by other companies

From the first contact Barrie and his team have shown real knowledge of the transition to the Air Source Heat Pump. All appointments were clearly made and adhered to, great care was taken not to damage our property during the process and all was tidied up before they left.

Daniel and his Team from Heatify were a pleasure to work with from the first contact to the completion of the project. Daniel was obviously Top of the Class during his Heat Geek training as he answered every question with and explanation that made complete sense. As a retired engineer who had researched the Vailant Heat Pump and the Heat Pump Mini Store in detail aswell watching around 100 of Adams YouTube videos everything about the installation made complete sense.
