H&C Tree Review

This was my second time purchasing from H&C Tree, and once again, the experience was excellent. I ordered a Photinia × fraseri ‘Red Robin’ 3/4 Standard (Lollipop), 14–16 cm girth.

Max, the owner, kept me well informed throughout the process. Once the order was processed, communication was clear and timely. On the day of delivery, Sam contacted me to let me know the tree would be delivered in the afternoon.

When the tree arrived, it was well-established and of outstanding quality. I couldn’t be more pleased with my purchase.

Just recieved my pleached red robins from Max. He delivered them to the back garden, gave me advice on some other trees I had planted and generally very nice. The trees are very health, have excellent foliage cover and were significantly cheaper than the other ones I bought elsewhere. I would highly recommend H&C both for the quality of their trees and their customer service.

The entire pre-sales process was very simple and efficient. We requested for delivery and planting- this was organised by the team for the same day to minimise disruption.

On the delivery and planting day the team arrived and worked incredibly efficiently causing minimal disruption. We were very impressed with the professional approach and expertise. I purchased one too many trees based on their professional judgement and they were happy to return one of the trees and adjust the invoice accordingly. We were very happy with the quality of the work, overall result and sales process as a whole.

I placed a rather large order of just under £2k but had a huge mix up with my wife who placed the same order with someone else. I didnt actually realise until the order my wife placed turned up on my front door. As you can imagine, this was very stressful. I immediately called up H&C praying my order could be cancelled and it was thankfully very straightforward with prompt communication and action. So although I didnt end up purchasing the trees, I am thankful for the excellent customer service. For that alone, I will ensure I make future purchases with H&C. Thanks Max!

Max delivered over 100 high quality, large plants to transform my garden space with new hedging. His pricing and communication were great, including useful updates and helpful flexibility around sizing. I've already made another order! And feel sure I will again. Thank you to Max and the H&C team

Easy communication with Max from the start. Great advice. Lovely quality x 12 standard Red Robin trees delivered and planted by Sam, Ed and Ny. Polite, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, hardworking even during a heavy downpour. Absolutely highly recommended.

From the start Max was very helpful in giving expert advice, we purchased 3 pleached Red Robin trees which are all doing very well after following the advice given. We are so pleased we are purchasing another. Would highly recommend.

Dealing with H & C Trees particularly with Max who helped me choose the type of trees and the number I required was very easy due to the knowledge and professionalism of himself. The 9 x Red Robin trees were 140cm to 160cm clear stem 2m to 2.25m full height.
The installation went ahead and Sam was very tidy and kept me informed of what he was doing and where he was placing them for me to agree. When all was completed he gave me loads of information on how to look after them. He left site very tidy and clean. I am now in the process of ordering 10 more and the same specifications. The trees look amazing seeing they were only planted in November and survived some extreme temperatures this winter. Very highly recommend H & C Trees Limited

We had 12 pleached red robin trees delivered from H&C Trees. They look lovely and are in good condition. There was a mix up on the delivery date but this was sorted and we were very happy with the trees, in fact we’ve ordered some more.

Great trees delivered as per the order. Communications around delivery were spot on too.
