Hawkins Blackwater- Efficient and helpful
Went to Hawkins Blackwater to have a noisy around cars we had found a car we were interested in, Kye Smith was extremely helpful in going through all the options and details regarding the Nissan Leaf. He was extremely efficient and helpful. And provided us with the best possible service (Always a bonus) the car is perfect for us. Extremely happy with Blackwaters service :)

We purchased a newish Hyundai i10 on Friday of last week (20/10/23) and traded in our 15 year old Yaris. It was a much more pleasant experience than we were anticipating, helped by the fact that the showroom and premises were not too big, and there was a wide selection of cars to choose from. We also had a very friendly sales consultant (Alex Anderson) who helped us narrow down the choices between a manual and automatic drive. We were able to test drive one of each, and we were given plenty of time and space to make our own decision. The salesman wasn't pushy. and he did a good job. It's nice to be able to be so positive.

Don't trust this this company they good in screwing you over bought a new Nissan leaf i needed to trad it in 17mouths later as Im disabled i told it not worth what i can get of the settlement from Nissan finance so i lose the money i treaded my car in and about £5000 so i am trapped paying for car i cant afford as ( cost of living) if i could of trad it in i could go on a mobile hire so be careful of sharp sells

Called at the Hayle branch today to look at the Sportsge range. I entered the sales area and ask if I could have a look at one of the vehicles for sale. As it was to be a business purchase my budget was £40-60000. The salesman seated at the desk said he would just finish what he was doing and get some keys. So far so good. I waited outside the showroom for him and eventually he appeared with another two customers and completely ignored me. I waited for a further 5 minutes and returned home. I am sure another dealer might me more accommodating.

Terrible communication, non existent
Phoned both Hawkins Kia at Hayle, and Hawkins Hyundai at Redruth to book daughter's car for a clutch change this August. Still waiting for a reply 7 working days later, despite phoning again. Never had to wait for a booking at any garage in 40 years of owning cars, and definitely won't use them for servicing if this is how they operate
Do NOT use the service center
Had our company car in for MOT and was told gear box needed to be replaced. It took over a month to get it fixed. Poor communication, never called back and were always waiting on a part, or a new part and then the wrong part. No apology only attitude. No offer of compensation, only a bill that needed to be paid before the car was picked up.
Job we done
We was very pleased with the first class service and the presentation by Mr Yion Morgam which was very professional being shown all the instruments job well done

Bought a Kia recently from Hawkins and the engine warning light lit up. Excellent service from the service team in Hayle particularly from Tim Smyth (the service manager) - who went the extra mile.
Harkins Motors abuse and scam to get orders
told us the car was ours to find they sold it two days before deilvey and then had to wait months for a car we never got and no one could protect us from this abuse. they abuse people with fake paper work and the police let them do fake sales

We bought a car through Hawkins six years old. When we went to drive it away they hadn’t bothered to fully charge the battery and it wouldn’t start. They then kept us waiting for ages while they took it to get fuel? Why didn’t they just pay us compensation rather than giving us £5 of fuel? A few weeks later the battery died and my wife was late to work. Again poor compensation for this they even tried to argue that they shouldn’t pay for a new battery when the car is under warranty. Very disappointed is an understatement.
Engine light flashing mice
My wife took the car to the garage after booking it in. The engine light was flashing and the screen wash was not spraying. They said both problems were caused by mice chewing through. The car is under warranty and they are refusing to fix it for free. Looks like another trip to the small claims court.
Awful customer service
Awful. They don’t care about customers. It’s all about how much money they can get out of you. Told me everything was fine then when it went wrong it was just out of warranty. I asked them several times and was ignored or made to feel stupid. I got talked over and treated abruptly. Very unhappy and would never use again.
