Dodgy Garage .Avoid at all costs ,we purchased an Audi & within 2 weeks had major problems, the list of issues are endless & are all major ,took the car to a main dealer & they said that the garage you purchased the car from would have known about the issues ,the current estimate for the repair work is around £4000 & so far Hartlepool Motor Company have paid £300 from the warranty which according to them is all the warranty will cover. It is a common practice for second hand car dealers to get warning lights temporarily removed so the car shows no faulty but these are usually temporary fixes so they can then can sell the car & the poor customer is left to try & fix the issues. Avoid at at all costs.

An absolute pleasure to deal with, from the first phone call when I enquired about the Freelander I subsequently purchased through my trade-in to finally driving away my new car, everything was dealt with in an extremely professional and courteous manner by Paul. Proper down to earth people who you feel you can trust, the truck was handed over in tip top condition. Overall was a very enjoyable service and would highly recommend! Recently sold a car through Motorway which was purchased from us by Hartlepool Motor Company. The whole process was very professional and courteous, Paul and his team are a pleasure to do business with.

Originally I had a good experience with this garage, it was easy to go through the paperwork and they even delivered the car to me a fair distance away. However a few months later the clutch and gearbox broke on the car leaving me with over a 2 grand bill to pay and no help from this garage. When I came to sell the car, there was actually an issue with the mileage which meant the car could not be sold, I had to go through a lot of stress with the DVSA asking them to change this, something which should have been picked up and checked at time of sale. I don’t believe the garage checked the vehicle at all or looked into the history. I spoke with Van about the mileage issue, and when originally stated he would buy the car from me and pay off the finance (which was a few grand less than what the car is worth) because there was a slight scuff to the bumper I was told it’s “not something he wants to get involved in”. I feel really let down by this garage, lovely when it comes to the sale but if something goes wrong with the car or there’s an issue you’re left to it.

Best garage I've bought from. Don't normally write reviews but this garage is exceptional. The service from the owner Van and his great team was brilliant. No pressure to buy, we were able to test drive on our own and on day of collection car was in outstanding condition inside and out. Special thanks to Danny.

I recently purchased a CLA45 from Paul. He was professional, helpful and not pushy at all. He gave me a good part exchange price and the deal was very smooth. It was all arranged online/telephone and I can highly recommend him.

I bought a beautiful V60 from Paul and collected it on the 2nd of January. No pressure or hassle, just quality service. Oh, and I was given a good part ex price too! I’d definitely recommend HMC and would have no hesitation in buying from them again.

I cannot fault the service we received Van from start to finish. A great team with a vast knowledge of the motor industry. I am really happy with the new car for my missus. She also loves it too.
I also have to give a mention to Danny. Such a top bloke who details the cars to a very high standard. He made us feel very welcome and showed us around the vehicle answering any questions.
We were never pressured one bit with our purchase.
all great so far and in the future we would use these guys again. Definately worth the 3:00 hour round trip.

Had the pleasure of meeting Paul today at hmc top bloke made my experience very easy to part ex my car and pick up my lovely new bmw x5 never had buying a car so simple and stress free. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a new car with the top of the range car selection and staff that can't help you enough. I visited the garage on Thursday and viewed a lovely Jaguar. Paul provided me with a part ex price, deal was done. Although the Jaguar had 10 months MOT on, Paul MOT'd the Jaguar for 12 months and I picked up the car the next day. No hassle, no pressure and I would certainly buy again from Hartlepool Motor Company. Thanks Paul for the great service provided.

This is my second purchase from Van and Hartlepool Motor Company, the second experience was just as great as the first, easy, stress free, no pressure to purchase, I got the keys, had a good look around the car and took it for a test drive, the rest is history, same day I drove away with my new car.
