From the start they were very helpful and were able to pencil in a date which made a lot of difference to our stress levels. The receptionists were very efficient and courteous. Six guys turned up on time on both days and packed, loaded, transported and unloaded all of our worldly possessions without drama and chirpy good humour and accommodated any requests we had. (they were excellent)I'm really pleased they will collect all packaging as that's one less thing to deal with. I can highly recommend this company. Sarah and Rob

Everything from quote all the way through to the move on the day was very well handled.

Nothing was too much trouble for the office staff when it came to answering all my questions before the move.

The moving crew did a fantastic job packing up what we weren't able to. They also ensured they put things where we needed them to be.

They also collect the packing materials for recycling which is a much appreciated extra touch.

We recently moved to Ireland using Hamiltons and I can honestly say that the company was excellent in areas covered, including the move and sorting customs and making the move as easy as it could be
I would certainly recommend them for anyone moving in the future.

We moved just before Christmas and leading up to the move very professional. But during the move a wardrobe needed to be dismantled. They asked permission and this was granted. But they ripped it apart to the extent that their fixer could not mend it. I was offered £25 as it was accidental. But these are supposed to be professional.

The 3 guys who worked on my move were brilliant. I'm so happy I went with Hamiltons, they couldn't do enough and even helped me make some boxes up so I could pack last minute bits. Really impressed with the care and attention they took throughout.

Great company to deal with. My relocation to France went really well from the word go. Paul and his team organised all the necessary paperwork’s necessary for the move. I didn’t have to worry about a thing regarding the move of my belongings. On delivery day, the drivers contacted me to let me know how far they were and met me at the agreed location. Both were very helpful and friendly, helping me to unload and reload the other véhicule. I highly recommend this company for all your removals needs. If I had to do it again I would use Hamiltons Removals without any hesitation or concerns! Top quality service!!

What a brilliant experience !
With the problems we had in selling our property what a refreshing change to find a business that went above and beyond to help. The four men that came from Hamiltons did more than asked with packing . I would recommend this firm above all others for removals.

I had a really good experience with Hamiltons Removals. I discovered them in 2021 during my move across Europe. Satisfied with their services, I called on them again for my transatlantic move in 2023. They were able to respond efficiently to my needs despite the tight deadline. I really appreciated their reactive approach, problem-solving oriented. The follow-up is really good too. They've managed to make this stressful time go more smoothly. I am highly satisfied with the team, especially with the coordination and customer service team.

An improvement can be made on the packaging part. As a matter of facts, some items were not properly packed, as the TV, a vase and delicate clothes (dresses and suits), which arrived broken and wrinkled. Proper packaging (e.g. vertical wardrobe boxes with hangers) would certainly have prevented this !

I'd definitely work with them again, while paying more attention to the packaging work.

First class service and communication unlike the awful shipping company in Florida we unfortunately booked to ship my late mother’s possessions to the UK. Hamiltons Removals are a first rate Company. I was very impressed with all the staff I came into contact with, nothing was too much trouble. My move could have been a stressful time but instead I really enjoyed it! The men that moved my furniture and other bits and pieces were brilliant! Everyone I spoke to (and met) from Hamiltons was amazing. They are so professional, understanding of the pressures moving puts you under & they work hard to ease the process for you.

DO NOT use if you are storing or looking for an international move unless you want bad packaging and in some cases none (even on material blinds) and a number of things broken. Spent over £10k on a substandard service (supposed to be a full packing service) and no liability taken by the company at all. For professional removals I do not expect things thrown in a box with no wrapping with breakables. Also the insurance isn't worth the paper its written on so don't waste your money. You only need to go on Trustpilot to see the reviews of the insurer they use and how bad they are yet Hamiltons are willing to link themselves with them and its impossible to ever get a claim paid. Broken items were even hidden from us and pushed into new boxes by the delivery team - untrustworthy and uncaring of people's personal goods. Having worked managing clients I'm disgusted in what they call customer service. AVOID.

Everyone I dealt with at Hamiltons was fantastic. The customer service delivered by them is exceptional, the staff from: Astral and Sarah in the office, to Toby and John who packed and moved me.
They were amazing and I highly recommend them. I would never use anyone else.

A removal company that you can trust 100%. I needed to move quickly from France during the summer 2023, due to health reasons so Kerri and Paul were absolutely fantastic in managing it empathetically, efficiently with professionalism. Communication was excellent. My stuff was put into storage and eventually delivered to Uppermill, Oldham with everything in tact - no damage to my property, and most importantly, no damage to my beautiful Honda CB650R motorbike. The guys delivering were so friendly and professional: even moving my motorbike into the garage area for parking. Lovely people, professional company and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended. A+++++++
