The outstanding teamwork of the Hamilton personnel meant that, what is known to be a stressful experience, became as smooth as one could wish for.
This was evident from the first visit to assess our removal needs and the provision of a price quote, until the move itself and subsequent collection of used boxes and packing materials … an operation which is ongoing as we gradually settle into our new home.
Finally, central to all this was the reassuring availability of your central admin personnel either by phone or by message.

Fantastic company!! Steve went above and beyond arranging a very bespoke international move for us to the Netherlands and was an absolute star at every step. The whole team were great - fantastic guys on the removal vehicles, everyone we spoke to on the phone - just great all around. We recently used Hamilton’s for our house move last week, and I can honestly say they were outstanding from start to finish. From the very first phone call, the office team (Jay and Astral) were incredibly efficient, organised, and genuinely helpful. They made the whole process feel smooth and well-managed before moving day had even arrived.
On the day itself, the team went above and beyond. Terry’s van-packing skills were something else entirely – like watching a giant game of Jenga in reverse, but with absolute precision. Sam and Justin worked tirelessly emptying the house, handling everything with such care and respect. It genuinely felt as though they were moving their own belongings rather than ours.
What really stood out, though, was the atmosphere they created. Moving house can be stressful, and I was definitely feeling a bit flustered at times, but their calm, reassuring approach (with plenty of humour along the way) completely put me at ease. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they consistently checked where we wanted items placed in the new house, making the whole experience feel collaborative and thoughtful.
Not a single item was damaged, lost, or broken, which speaks volumes about their professionalism and attention to detail. Their organisational skills were absolutely top-notch – even for a team of lads! 😄
From that initial phone call to waving them off at our new home, the service was exceptional throughout. I couldn’t recommend Hamilton’s highly enough to anyone looking for a reliable, friendly, and genuinely first-class removal company.

Highly recommend Hamiltons!! Brilliant customer service from making the first phone call, through to getting my house surveyed and then onto the team packing my belongings to move to my new home. Brilliant problem solvers, had a sofa stuck upstairs and couldn’t move it downstairs via the stairs so sent it carefully out of the upstairs window, (as it’s like a double door) And being great and helpful with placing furniture in the rooms.

Rented a container or two months from Hamiltons including a padlock and key for which I had to pay £20 deposit, finished with container, returned padlock and despite emails requesting the return of the deposit it has still not been returned. Emails are ignored. Would not recommend.

From the free quote to the office to the removal men, all was first class service and I would not hesitate to recommend to family friends or social media.
