This must be the eighth time we have used Hadley&Ottaway since 2017 and each experience has been exactly like the one before, consistently fairly priced, punctual, careful and efficient. We stored our belongings with them for 2 years during covid.
I can absolutely recommend their attention to detail and general professionalism.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. On the day we had Lee and Marc for our move in Watton, Norfolk. They were brilliant and so helpful and professional.

Absolutely excellent service from start to finish. Shaun and Jordon explained everything on the morning. Our move was from Norfolk to Kent. Protected all floors doors etc like we was told. Would definitely recommend this company if you want your furniture looked after.

All of the team were extremely helpful from first contact with Chris to the guys who helped us move over 3 days. We really appreciate all the time and attention to our move, they made the whole process so much less stressful. These are the facts.
In January 2023 Hadley and Ottaway were engaged to comprehensively pack and move all my house contents to my new address.

Directly following my move in January 2023 everything appeared to be fine.
However, my water softener was “packed” incorrectly, and was not kept upright at all times. Consequently, when "unpacking" it found it was upside down in a wet cardboard packing box. The unit had a small residue of water in the electrics and digital readout - it was damaged beyond repair; This was a £700 softener.
I reported this to Hadley and Ottaway with photos attached. They dismissed the claim and any responsibility for the damaged caused.
Firstly they said it hadn’t been packed correctly - bearing in mind H & O were paid to pack everything. They stated that because it hadn’t been packed correctly, they were not responsible. This made absolutely no sense.

So please be warned- This is a company which has demonstrated no professional standards or morality to me as a customer.

These are the facts.

I'm sure they will answer this and come up with reasons why they are not responsible. However, be aware of the type of this company you are considering.
Stay clear of this company.

From the initial visit from Chris to quote, to the advice he gave us on packing up our belongings, to the team of staff who moved us over three days, we have nothing but praise. They made the final part of what had been a stressful process so trouble free and easy. Thanks to all their staff involved in our move.

Having recently moved for a 2nd time with Hadley and Ottaway, I cannot rate them highly enough. An excellent experience from start to finish.
Chris who came and assessed and remembered us from 9 years ago to Darren in house and the ladies to the guys on the day who arrived by 7.15am moved and packed us out of our 4 bed 5 reception room house by 10.45am. Helped me with there Barford Ramp to get my very old dog into my car and then worked solidly to unpack and fill the small house with furniture and the garage is full!

We have just received a delivery from Hadley and Ottaway. They were amazing. The purchase was from Marks and Spencer, so guessing that these removers have a contract with them. Well done M and S for choosing this company. They certainly do you proud. They arrived promptly, were extremely polite, smart and efficient. The lorry was immaculate too.
