Same issue as some other reviewers. Paid the money, had the procedure rescheduled by them more than once and haven’t seen a penny of my money back despite empty promises of a payment plan and it’s now been a year. Total con artists

This is a shocking company, if only the owner of the company put as much effort into customer satisfaction as he does to getting trust pilot to remove negative reviews.

Im still owed a £2000 refund!!!!! I paid £5000 for two transplants, i relied only one, i was messed around over and over again, lie after lie.

This review is 100% true, it mentions no names etc etc. Surely, the owner of this business can not flag it for review.

I did not pay for just one transplant, i paid for a full service, even the contract you sent me said that any future transplants would be provided for free, even the Doctor said to make the next appointment for around a years time. I feel robbed and let down, you really effected my mental health, I was left with a very bad, uneaven hair line for 18 months, I was ghosted by you, and even at one point, when I finally managed to get hold of you used foul language to me telling to f***OFF, if i remember right. I do not require your services anymore, I did the right thing and went to Turkey, I am just going to make sure as many people as possible are warned about my experience.

Do not book! Very unprofessional, messy service from start to finish.

My husbands appointments were cancelled several times. He had re-arranged work & childcare every time only for it to be cancelled 2-3 days prior.

He was offered a £1k refund for the inconvenience & promised a new appointment date. Again, two days prior this was not confirmed. The excuses for every cancellation were endless. We lost count of how many times he cancelled/unconfirmed but it was at least 7 times! My husband requested a full refund. They told him that they couldn’t process refunds over the weekend as his accountant had to do it. They then proceeded to tell us they had done it by sending us a screen shot. When looking and zooming in to the screenshot it was in fact a screenshot of the payment my husband had made! Not a refund! They then decided to ignore and stop replying to texts.

I can see from other reviews and comments on various social media that others have also experienced the same as my husband.

Update: after I posted this review my husband received his refund in full.

Kevin is a con artist. I booked my hair transplant in February 2025, the surgery date was moved 3 times and then I was asked to reschedule for a 4th time. I was told I’d get a full refund on £4000 in 14 working days, I didn’t. I had to go through visa chargeback and provide evidence for Kevin’s wrongdoing. It took another 5 weeks to get my refund through visa because even after promises by Kevin that my money will be given back to me, it wasn’t so I took matters into my own hands. Today, once i put on review, I was contacted by Kevin and he offered to bribe me with £200 to take this honest review off. I refused because I do not want the same thing to happen to any other innocent person looking for help. SO DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS CLINIC.

I called Harley Street Hair Transplant and spoke to the owner, who has requested his name be redacted, in October 2023 regarding a transplant. I whatsapped him photos of what I wanted he done and he quoted me £2000 and a £1000 deposit that he wanted paid asap. I paid this deposit and did tell him I havent set a date (have to travel for work) but I will confirm later when I wanted the surgery done. He sent me a contract which I had him amend to say that at any time if I change my mind I can request a ful refund of £1000 to which he agreed

On January 12th 2024, I emailed the owner saying I would like a refund as I was postponing any surgery indefinitely. The owner initially ignored my email but I called the office number and told the person I spoke to pass on that message to owner. The owner then texted me saying he would process the refund as we had agreed and it would take 21 WORKING DAYS. That's a whole calendar month to make a bank transfer. I knew it didn't take that long but I let it go and calculated that my refund would arrive no later than the 12th of February, which he confirmed. Surprise, the 12th Feb came and went and I didn't get my deposit refunded. I continually chased up and got barely any response until a couple weeks later the owner called me multiple times. We spoke over the phone and gave a bunch of excuses. Ive listed them below

1) The owner was not feeling well and so couldn't do the transfer
2) The finance team were unsure about whether to pay my refund because the business had a large corporation tax bill
3) It was all just a big misunderstanding

Anyway, during those phone calls, I made clear to the owner I want this matter resolved and move on. I told him have my refund done by no later than the next Monday. (We spoke on the phone on a Wednesday or Thursday)

Again, surprise surprise, Monday came and went and no refund. I texted him saying you promised the refund would be done by now. He told me has some payments coming in on Friday and that he'll be paying Friday. He did not.

To shorten this review, the owners's lies and excuses have now gone off for 2 months and no sign of my refund. Multiple times he's told me the accountant has done the transfer and it will be in my account the next day (contradicts his 21 working days nonsense)

I've already begun legal action against the business and the owner to recover my deposit and legal fees. I've got all the WhatsApp, emails, texts. I've got it all saved to back up everything I say. If anyone wants to get in contact to see, feel free.

The reason for this review is to make people aware that the owner and his business are NOT TO BE TRUSTED!

Edit : Latest as of 3rd April. After my review went up on the 26th, I heard instantly from the owner who bombarded me with texts asking me to take it down and that he would have my money sent to by Sunday. Funny that all these months it was hard to get a reply from him and yet a simple review and all of sudden he's available.
Again, Sunday has come and gone and no refund. Somebody who operates this way and runs a business like this is only interested in separating you from your money. NOT TO BE TRUSTED

Edit 2 : After the owner contacted me a few weeks back and said that he would pay half the amount owed and then the other half the following week if I removed my reviews. As I wanted to be done with this horrible experience of constantly chasing money, I agreed and the owner paid me half the balance owed. Unfortunately, he has failed, yet again, to live up to his deal and has not paid the remaining balance.

Edit 3: 18 months later and I am still owed money by this business. I'm pretty sure they're flagging my review to get it removed as the owner is worried about negative reviews harming his business, something which he said to me when he asked me multiple times to remove my review. DO NOT TRUST!

SCAM

Do not book in with this company or do business with THE OWNER NAMED ON COMPANIES HOUSE AS DIRECTOR he will lie endlessly, he will not return your money. I booked in good faith for January 2025 and to this day I am still owed £1500 even after multiple empty promises from THE DIRECTOR

I first reached out to
Harleystreethairtransplants.org on 6th December 2024 initially the process was smooth THE DIRECTOR called me and booked me in for the 12th January 2025 with relative ease.

Coming up to the 12 Jan I have messaged THE DIRECTOR to double check we were still okay to continue, he’s replied saying it’s had to be cancelled something about the surgeon not being able to make it down to London. THE DIRECTOR offered to reschedule or to fully refund me. I’ve asked for dates which THE DIRECTOR hasn’t bothered to get back to me for a few days so I’ve had no option but to cancel and accept the full refund offered.

On the 14th January 2025 THE DIRECTOR stated in an email if I accepted the refund “it can take up to 14 days to process”. I’ve replied the following day. No reply from THE DIRECTOR initially, I’ve followed up a week later on the 22nd Jan, to which THE DIRECTOR “replied “you’ll be receiving your refund no later than the 31st January”. The 31st of January has come around and surprise surprise no money, I’ve had to chase THE DIRECTOR again. According to THE DIRECTOR his accounts (despite opening an accountancy company himself) has filed late. No shock here when this particular company is currently late filing its own paper work.

THE DIRECTOR has stated again by email he’ll set up a payment plan £500 by the 5th feb and the rest (£3000) by the 7th Feb. Again shock to no one the 5th has come round and no money. Only after threatening an investigation do I receive money on the 6th Feb. Multiple payment plans and poor excuses later in total I have received £1500 back from THE DORECTOR and to this day I am still waiting for the rest.

THE DIRECTOR is a liar and has used multiple excuses to avoid paying me the money he owes. If you look carefully through the companies THE DIRECTOR has set up they have either failed, are late with filling paper work, or are closed. He has opened businesses and named someone else as director to cover himself however all the information is in the public domain. I’ve spoken to customers who have used THIS COMPANY AND THE DIRECTOR who he has paid to leave a good review, even after receiving sub par treatment.

Do yourself a favour do not line THE DIRECTOR OR THIS COMPANIES pockets in anyway. Go elsewhere and make sure you do your research. If you’ve had a similar experience reach out.

Poor communication

I had a hair transplant with this company they cancelled 2 of my appointments without telling me i had to call them or I would of turned up for appointment that wasn’t there , the transplant was done I had to go to turkey to get it redone , I also recommended 3 of my friends and none of them are happy with there results or there after care , the biggest problem is the middle man the customer service is terrible once they have your money .

Kevin with all the relevant information from the outset, about the procedure and locations and changes of dates. Great communication throughout.

Dr Kalra very professional throughout my procedure in Newcastle. Very good facilities.
Pain free and very comfortable throughout.
Sent away with my recovery plan and follow up in months time.

Unfortunately brow transplant did not happen due to various reasons.I did contact kevin about a refund I received my refund a little late but got it . Cannot comment on my procedure but Kevin was constantly in contact with me.Would recommend because of the constant communication.

Had a fantastic service at Harley street hair transplants . From my initial teams consultation with Kevin and Dr, to having the surgery 7 month ago.

Avoid at all costs
Appointment booked for 24/2 but got a message on 21/2 that it had been cancelled. I was asked if i could do 25/2 and at 14:12pm on 21/2 i said that i could. However, i realised literally a few hours later that i couldn't make it as my husband was away and there'd be nobody to look after the dog. I messaged immediately to let them know. They responded to say that 25/2 was the only appointment available. Their pre op advice says to not take finasteride or minoxidil for 7 days before surgery so, as l'd already missed a couple of days, i took a double dose. They then messaged to say they may be able to do 24/2 but i explained I'd already taken the meds their own medical advice said should not be taken.
So AGAINST THEIR OWN MEDICAL ADVICE, so as not to lose the business, they said it wouldn't be an issue!!! Now being very wary of them i asked for a refund... my god!!! Series of aggressive and accusatory voice messages.

That was my original review, it didn’t include that he promises refunds which never materialise… I’ll quite happily post the WhatsApp messages if he calls me a liar….

To his point that i said i would delete my post for £1000, liar!!! Here’s the WhatsApp to prove it…

We agreed to move over to 25th February that’s the issue - this is very difficult.

“Kindly remove the review and I will refund you £1000 out of my pocket in 21 days. This is the best I can do.”

Wow, so he’s copied later conversations, he offered the refund if i removed my comment then guess what, it never materialised! This is an excellent example of how slippery he is. And btw he’s already tried to get this review removed but they’ve refused as its completely 100% truthful.

Really happy with my transplant and now booked in for my top up. Good experience and Kevin has been really helpful. If you’re thinking of doing it but are unsure, you won’t regret it

My name is Peter, I got my hair transplant on January 2004 happy with the results but I contacted Kevin And told him that the crown was not growing at all like the rest of my hair has Kevin has Arranged for me to go to Newcastle again and he’s paying for this to be done. Like he promised me he hasn’t gone back on his word. He is very trustworthy honest person I’ve ever met and Now have a date booked in the Clinic To get my crown done Newcastle, all paid for free of charge thank you Kevin I will recommend him to family and friends

Dr Kalra wants best results "ALWAYS"
2nd procedure just 2 days ago. Dr Kalra was lead surgeon again. The 1st procedure was completed November 2022. This went well and results were good, but just wanted both previously receeding frontal areas topped up for more density. This time I travelled down to Newcastle for my surgery. This was at the Wimpole Clinic in Ponteland. Beautiful place inside and out. Far better set up and facilities than my previous surgery at South Gyle Edinburgh. Flicking through music channels on large TV during surgery. Staff all very professional, made me feel very welcome and relaxed. After the 3 hour procedure, I was given various medical supplies (savlon etc) and detailed aftercare instruction sheets to take home. Having an amazing hairline, looking and feeling so much younger simply changes your life for the better. This was the best 5k I've ever spent.

7 months later and I'm still so happy and impressed by the procedure! My hair came in fantastically + it looks so natural that everyone is shocked when I tell them that I had a hair transplant. I really have been recommending this for anyone who is interested in the procedure.

Just wanted to leave a review regarding my time at this hairtransplant clinic. I came here back in September for my first hair transplant. So it's been 10 months. And I could not highly recommend the whole time throughout this process, including my 10 month result. I went into the before surgery, during and after a little nervous about it all. But each time I was put at ease. Was a painless job. And I am over the moon with the results. 5stars all day

So far, so good. I’ve not had my procedure done yet. I’ve paid the full amount required in advance, so this review focuses more on the communication side of things, which Kevin has been available on WhatsApp whenever I’ve needed his help. I have my procedure booked for August 12th. Communication so far has been very fluid and efficient, even on weekends. I’ve had Multiple phone calls with Kevin so far and they’ve all been great. So far I’m happy.

Absolutely fantastic before during and after attention to detail here. 👍🏻. Dr Karla from the first consultation was relaxed professional and calming as I was very anxious. He has a no hard sell factual amazing bed side manner with no hard sell. He and his specialist nurse Alex were amazing again thanks to you both. She was also very calming throughout my procedure on 11/5/24. Dr Karla has been in contact with me to check everything was healing and if I need any thing contact him directly which is amazing thanks DR KARLA . Over all my experience has been fantastic with DR K ! I can’t recommend DR K highly enough 10/10 from DR K see you soon for my PRP sessions …
