I’ve been using Hair Medics UK for six months, mainly on my hairline, and I'm seeing great results! There are so many brands out there, but this is the only one that's actually worked for me. Great company, very professional, knowledgeable and a beautiful location

My hairdresser recommended me to buy their Minoxidil product to regrow my hair. Initially I never thought these products worked but I have experienced great results with their products.

Couldn’t recommend Hair medics uk enough, I had my hair transplant over a year ago now and to say it has changed my life is an understatement! My happiness and confidence are at a little I never knew was possible. Had difficulty getting into Republic of Ireland (customs)
Robbie contacted me via whats app and we decided to ship to Northern Ireland instead.
They included a free scalp Roller which smoothed over the delays which wasn’t their fault but customs, my only recommendation is the order email should include tracking details because hair loss products get flagged as if us baldys don’t have enough problems! Lol

Two of us had our transplant on the same day (3rd feb 24) with Dr Basher.
From the initial consultation with Rob to attending on the day- it was smooth.
Dr Basher was ever so accommodating and carried out the hair transplant flawlessly.
His genuine sincerity and attention to detail was out of this world.
Constantly checking in and assisting in both transplants with the technicians.
What we also liked about this place is the location. A 50 minute drive from where we live in Kent and plenty of free parking directly outside in a sleepy, tranquil village setting.
This certainly beats a beat on hour and half travel to Harley Street.
The team couldn’t do enough and Dr Basher was absolutely spot on throughout the day.

I ordered some minoxidil and 11 days later it hadn't arrived. I called Hair Medics and they straight away sent another bottle and a free hair roller. Very pleased with the service.

Had a hair transplant at Hairmedics UK in their London Colney clinic yesterday. As many other reviews have said, the whole process is superb and I would highly recommend them. Great care pre op, Whats App comms with the doctor so I could ask anything I needed to pre or post initial consultation. Very honest, supportive and open responses to my questions throughout. The day was very smooth and very professional with my care as a patient always at the heart of every decision. Dr Fahad and Dr Bashir and their fantastic team were brilliant at every stage. I’ve realised just what hard work performing a hair transplant is for the medical team and the team at Hairmedics never stopped working to make things as quick, easy and painless as they possibly could for me I don’t know why I waited so long to get it done and can’t wait to see the results. The operation was a long day with some mild discomfort at times but no pain and my well being was always front of mind with the team. Day 2 today I’ve got no pain, no swelling and little blood and hairline looks very positive, could not be happier. Throw in the competitive pricing and Hairmedics UK have a winning formula! If you are thinking about a hair transplant you’d be crazy not to use the team at Hairmedics UK.

This review is for the people who have spent months and years researching the right place to get your hair transplant procedure done. I hope this helps.

I first considered a hair transplant in 2020 at the age of 33 as I noticed my hairline had been slowly receeding for a few years. I spent the best part of the next 3 years researching, having several consultations with many different FUE clinics across the UK.

My key criteria were:
- UK based and therefore regulated by the CQC
- cost effective
- not a 'sausage factory' where you get very little time with the surgeon
- an actual clinic rather than a broker/sales intermediary

I stumbled across Hair Medics in December 2022 and had a very pleasant experience with Robbie who answered all of my concerns honestly but life got in the way so I didn't proceed at the time.

I re-engaged with Hair Medics in summer 2023, this time with Leanne who was equally great at answering my very detailed questions and so I decided to book in.

The clinic is almost like a few converted side by side terrace house in a quiet high street and almost reminds me of the dentist surgeries I have been in throughout my life...quiet, clean, understated but absolutely fit for purpose and has a nice cosy vibe.

All staff were super friendly and put me at ease when I arrived.

The surgery itself was with Dr. Bashir. Really awesome doctor, attentive to detail and calming, which helped as I was pretty nervous. We agreed my hairline and the proceeded with the procedure.

The procedure itself was performed in part by Dr. Bashir and partly by his very capable technicians who were overseen by the doctor throughout. I was pleasantly surprised by this because I have heard some horror stories about the lack of surgeon time people have got at other clinics which was always a worry but I was more than happy with the approach from Dr. Bashir. He did all of the incisions, some of the extraction and some of the implantation but he oversaw the whole procedure. For context, there were two surgeries carried out that day...me being one of them so Dr. Bashir had ample time to spend with each of us vs. some other clinics I spoke to who some of my friends have been to and 'stack them high' so you get very little time from the doctor.

The surgery was absolutely fine. Painful at times but totally expected. All of the staff were very mindful of my wellbeing and made sure I had plenty of resources to keep my pain down. They provided me lunch too which was great. I had a de-bried with Dr. Bashir who gave my a goody bag with unstructiobs, pain relief and some infection control resources.

I'm typing this one day after surgery and I'm following the instructions that Hair Medics provided me. Its obviously early days but I'm really encouraged by what I can see so far. The implanted grafts reflect the hairline we picked and Leanne has already checked up on me which is great.

The point of this review is this: if you've been researching for a long time and you're lost in the absolute minefield of hair transplant options in the UK and overseas, and you're looking for a quality, surgeon-led, UK based hair transplant that does not cost the earth....please give these guys a shot. I have been really pleased so I would not expect you to be disappointed throughout the process.

From the initial consultation with Leanne to the procedure, I felt very relaxed and at ease. Fabulous setting and wonderful people, I had 2 procedures done so was anxious that the aftercare might be uncomfortable but I can honestly say I’ve had very little issue with my healing thus far. I had done research and compared to 3 other clinics. Their prices are by far the best value that you will find. Their clinicians and Doctors are all named on their socials & website so you can see that they are GMC & GQC registered for peace of mind. From my further research I found that several of their Doctors work at various other renowned Clinics too, so their transparency was a great sense of relief to me and you can book with confidence.

From start to finish I felt comfortable and informed by everyone there. I knew exactly what was happening when and why. Dr Bashar (and his team) and Leanne were fantastic and put me at ease straight away. Leanne then was excellent with ALL my follow up questions and aftercare. I had a hair transplant carried out by Hair Medics two weeks ago, Dr Bashar and the technicians Saafiya & Raj were very professional and friendly throughout the procedure, and Leanne provided great consultation and pre/post-op care.

The healing process has been very fast, all the scabs had gone by exactly one week after, and I have not experienced any complications.

Obviously it’s far to early to know the end results yet, but considering my experience of Hair Medics so far, I can definitely recommend them very highly.

Honestly! the price, facilities, from consultation through to the procedure. Could not of asked for more! Really happy with the outcome. 12 months after care really good as well. Changed my life Hair Medics! :)

Great service, great products

Had the FUE hair transplant in August 2022 and found the whole experience to be great. Robert was always so helpful and happy to answer any of my questions or concerns via phone call or WhatsApp. He supported me on off for two years whilst I deliberated/considered my options. He also kept me right with travel arrangements and timings for flights there and back from Edinburgh on the same day

On the day I felt like a bit of a VIP given I had the place and the whole team to myself. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and made what was a nerve-wracking experience for me very comfortable

I was left with clear advice and instructions for aftercare and some 9 months on I must admit I’m delighted with the result and certainly now have increased confidence in my appearance.

I understand the procedure is similar wherever it’s done so I feel Hair Medics was great value for money and am delighted I chose them
