If you are not drinking pure distilled water made from a quality water distillation system like those available from H2o Labs, your water doesn't come close to being so pure. Everyone realizes that tap water is loaded with many types of suspended pollutants, chemicals, toxins and other contaminants. Many people have the false impression that bottled water and water produced by home filtration systems is "pure". But it isn’t. Bottled water is usually just plain tap water that has been minimally filtered to get rid of the bad odor and taste. And home filtered water, (even reverse osmosis), is not pure either. Only pure distilled water made by water distillation systems like those available at our H2oLabs online store produce water so clean and pure, as pure as water can be.

I ordered a unit on 1/30/2023 its now…
I ordered a unit on 1/30/2023 its now June 26 I have emailed twice. Was originally told4 to 6 months. Today's email now says it will be 5 to 6 more months before it will be sent. I am hoping it works like a dream after having to wait almost a year. I will update when and if I ever receive.
Technical Support
The distiller worked great for a couple years. Last month I noticed there was water leaking from the unit onto the reservoir tank. I called customer support and was told to send an email with a couple pictures of the unit. I sent that. Waited a week and got no response. I called back and he said he never got the email. I forwarded the same email and he found it on the phone. He said he would forward it to the tech guys there. Another week goes by. I call back. He instructs me to reseal some threading near the solenoid. I told him that I did not see any leakage coming from there. But I resealed it anyway. The unit is still leaking. So I decided to be my own technical support and investigate further. I turned on the unit and set a timer on my phone to check the unit every 30 minutes. After a few hours I discover the bobber seal is defective. I sent on the same email thread pictures of the actual leak. I don't hear from him for another week. When I call back he asks me what model I have. I repy all the inofmration is in the email that I don;t think you even looked at. He asks again for the model, like its the first time I've ever spoke with him. Fine, I comply and give him the model. Then he asks whats wrong. I again direct him to the email that has ALL the information in detail with pictures of what's going on. He then asks me again what's wrong. I have to explain that the unit is leaking and go through all the details that have occurred up until the present. After explaining I think the bobber seal is broken , which I sent a high res picture of in the email. He says "yeah your bobber seal is broken". Ok I say, what's next? He seems perplexed, what do you mean what's next, nothing is next. At this point I'm a little perturbed. Look, I did your job for you and called you every time, never got even one correspondence from you and now you are acting like I'm supposed to know what to do next. So I present the options. Do I order this part? Am I under warranty? Do you think this is actually what's wrong? Mind you he never looked up the email. "Oh you should order a bobber seal". Ok I say, how do I do that? A little help here guy, I don't work at your company and I'm not an engineer. I had to ask for the part number. Ask How I can buy it. He mentioned I can buy it on the website or he could take my order over the phone. Thinking about how thinga have gone so far, I was not expecting this interaction to go well. I am expecting it to be a cluster f*@#k, so I opted to go to website and order it myself. And that is the present state of my quest to repair my distiller.
Bottom line this guy is a horrible communicator, and I get the vibe he could care less about my issues, and would rather I just go away. Its been like pulling teeth this whole time dealing with technical support. You should hope that nothing ever goes wrong with your distiller. Put your engineer hat on and put tech support on speed dial, you are in for a wild ride that will test the limits of your patience.
Order left hanging and key product not in stock
Ordered water jug and filters two weeks ago. Order processed, but nothing arrived. Rang up and sent to US answer phone. Left message once. Sent email a couple of days ago. Rang again today and spoke to poor guy in UK, who represents H2O and a couple of other companies. He said the jug is out of stock and website has not been updated. Said if I hadn't rung, the order would have sat there. Said he would chase it up and get refund sent out for jug and filters sent out. He acknowledged the operation was very poor. At one point, he said he didn't want to get stressed as has had a stroke two weeks ago. H2O labs or the subcontractor should not put vulnerable employees in this position. I asked for his name for legal reasons, in case it all needs chasing up, and he refused to give his surname, and said he had been told to withhold it, but eventually did give it to me. Said he did the job because he likes helping people, but this was not exactly helpful - H2O labs left me in the lurch and onus was on me to chase it all up. Did not even feel like second-rate company, but more like hobbyist thing in very early stages. Amazed that company that is supposed to make best products in terms of domestic water filters, allows consumer experience to be like this. Needs to be overhauled and made much more efficient and professional.
Zero customer service. Stuck with broken product.
We purchased a WaterLovers Distiller (not cheap!) from H2O labs (UK), perhaps around 8 months ago or so. After a month of use, the filter tray melted under the heat generated by the product and can no longer be used. As the product comes with 'warranty' we tried to reach out to H2O labs and have been trying to get in touch ever since. They don't respond to emails, the phone doesn't go through. Absolutely ZERO customer service. We tried to get PayPal involved but had unfortunately exceeded the time allowed to raise a claim.
We are now stuck with an expensive distiller that doesn't have a filter. I would avoid this company if possible and buy your product elsewhere. From my research it seems I am not the only customer who has had this experience with this product (and subsequent awful customer service from H20 labs).
So much for the 'warranty' that is offered on the product. Non existent customer service.
Very helpful customer service
Very helpful customer service. Spoke with a Terrance this morning who helped me chose exactly the system to fit my needs. My family uses a lot of water each day and they helped me pick exactly the system that proceeded to help me. Very good customer service cannot recommend enough.
EXCELLENT, RELIABLE AND WELL BUILT
We have had the 300SS MODEL for over 3 years now and it has been flawless. Extremely well built and durable. We had a couple of the plastic distillers from other companies previously, they both failed (burned up) within the first year. We use our distiller once or twice a day! H2O is the best, never needed customer service for problems. But called a couple of times with general questions and they were always friendly and knowledgeable. Great charcoal filters too!
These guys suck
These guys suck! Worst customer service. It’s been 10 days and they still haven’t sent out my items. On top of that customer service is unconcerned when I complain. They also lied to me saying I would receive it today.
Customer service helped me out alot
Customer service helped me out alot. My Durastill stopped working after 1 year and originally Jacob promised to ship me a item to fix it. However I never received said item. Today I spoke with Terrence who was able to give me a proper order number and place my order correctly and even provided me a receipt.
GREAT Customer Service!
I had been using my unit, almost daily, for a little less than a year, when it developed some issues (not capturing all the water during the distilling process but sending it into the room as condensation). I emailed the company, and received a prompt reply. Terence, based in the U.S., worked with me on a replacement. I LOVE this unit and am so happy to replace it. It is attractive, not too big for a kitchen counter, and makes the BEST water. Thank you for a very satisfying customer service experience. I highly recommend the product, and am very happy with the customer service.
Misleading advertising and rude service
We purchased the 200 model to make about 2 gallons of distilled water per day. This is half of what the website description lists as the daily output of "up to 4 gallons per day." Since the description said, "Although it may not boast the sturdiness of our heavy-duty Model 100 & 300 series, it produces the same quality and quantity of pure distilled water," I assumed it would produce a couple of gallons a day with no difficulty. Nope. After a year and a half, the heating unit burned out; we could have it repaired for $95. Though they offered a $60 discount on a 100 or 300 model, I have decided to find another company. They don't seem to understand that a customer reading "Can make up to 4 gallons a day" expects it to make up to 2 gallons per day. The VP Ryan told me that the 200 is really only good for 3 - 4 gallons per week. That is not what the description says. My second phone call with Customer Service (which was answered by Technical Service) ended up in an argument about the veracity of the website description. Rarely have I had a company representative be so rude and demeaning. If I ever have the opportunity, I will recommend not buying from this company.
Look elsewhere for water products!
1. I tried to order what I believed to be a premiere counter water distiller - the WaterLovers MK2, which costs twice as much as the lower end models. I should have seen the red flag signs from the beginning, when they wouldn't accept my order until I emailed in photos of BOTH my driver's license AND credit card. It took about two weeks just to process the order before it finally got delivered
2. Initially the product worked beautifully, and I was optimistic that this investment should last at least several years - but after several months it began to suffer problems such that I could no longer get any distilled water. Now this is not a product review, but over the past 4 weeks I've attempted to contact h2o labs through both calls and their "contact us online" message query, for which I've left at least a dozen voicemails and messages and still have no response to date. Only once have I spoken with a live representative who was so vague, and oddly immediately offered a "full replacement", however when I simply asked if he could clarify the email address he would send the shipping label to, he answered "I can't give you that information because it is protected - just wait a few business days and it will arrive in your email". When I subsequently queried how he would even know who I am or how to send it to me (again, he never asked about my order number or date or purchase, or model), he said "don't worry, we'll look you up through your caller ID". Needless to say, such an email has never arrived and this was 3 weeks ago. Any such attempts to reach this company to rectify their faulty product has been unsuccessful so far, and thus I'm out $400 and still with no luck. Beware this seller!
I had the pleasure of speaking with Terrence
I had the pleasure of speaking with Terrence today in Support. He is absolutely one of the best customer support representatives I have ever spoken with. He resolved my issue quickly.
I called them and asked which…
I called them and asked which distillers were USA made. Unfortunately, I was told the 300 was so I ordered it on back order. After a long wait time, I received the product which the box states MADE IN China. So I called them to send it back and order a much more expensive unit made in USA. Unfortunately I was met by a cocky attitude from Terrence and was told I would have to pay the shipping back to them even though they gave me the wrong information stating the product I bought was USA made. Terrible customer service times 2 encounters with them. First guy was nice but gave bad info. Second guy is a horrible rep to be in customer “service “.
I recently had a problem with an order…
I recently had a problem with an order and shipment from Durastill, however their customer service representative Terrence, and his associate Ryan, provided outstanding service and immediate resolution of the problem. I was very appreciative to finally get this problem solved!
I have had a Durastill 30J unit for 3 years, it works like a charm! Definitely recommend monitoring mineral deposition in boil tank every 4 weeks for 1-2 people use, every 2 weeks for more than 2 people.
Tech support on 2nd product
I now have both the 300SS and now the MKII water distillers.
After receiving the Waterlovers MKII on 03/01, I was having the issue. I attempted to use the H2OLabs website and submitted the issue on the same day (03/01). Without any type of response I called the phone number provided on the website, in the morning of 03/03. I was able to get a hold of the tech support. After stating the issue that the MkII. The MkII's power button is illuminated and it was setup correctly. After moving it to a 2nd outlet, that had nothing plugged into it and it was the only item plugged into the fuse box curcuit it wouldn't distill. The Representitive requested 2 pictures for the undistilled water reservoir container and the entire unit. Then provided the email to send it to and requested my contant information.
The reason for one star... I am sitting with a 400 hundred dollar product that I can not use. After emailing through the website, no auto-response with a timeline. After calling tech support, no... Hey, this is what will happen next.
If it is a user issue (me) hey, I want to know. If it is defective, so I need to return it... I need to know.

I was helped by Terrance today and felt it important to state that he was helpful, kind and efficient.
He understands the different models and was very helpful in directing me to the right model for my needs.
Thank you Terrance! You are an attribute to this company!!
Quick and Convenient
Quick and Convenient. Easy to use and maintain. Very cost effective if you use a gallon or more of distilled water every day or two (don't forget fuel cost and time spent when you go to buy distilled water - if you can find it these days).
I ordered the Durastill 30J-10G-RFS 8…
I ordered the Durastill 30J-10G-RFS 8 gallon/day w/10 tank & remote faucet system. This was ordered (and paid for) on 8/1/21– I was told 6-8 wk. delivery. After multiple calls finally arrived week 15-16. The core system is great - this is my second Durastill- previous lasted 7 years. HOWEVER 2 stars is for service & missing parts. To hook up remote had to go to hardware store to try to get it to work. After 3 days of working on remote pumping still not working. Called again tonight and was told to take cartridge out of remote setup. (I’m thinking they sent this with 1.4 gallon vs. 3.3 gallon pump). Maybe this will help but now don’t have post post filter. Also didn’t come with sight tube (like in picture) - when asked about this I was given story about supplier not making this size yet - when asked if I would be sent one automatically- answer was NO - would have to call. (There was also no apology for missing parts)…I would go with Durastill again - but find another reseller - also if you go with remote pump unit specify 3.3 gal/minute so the unit will work.
Good product, horrible service. Buy Durastill products elsewhere.
I purchased a 12 gallon per day with a 25 gallon reserve tank in the first week of August, I called them about 2 weeks later and they said it would take 6 to 8 weeks to ship it. I called again around the 8 week mark and they said it would take a few more weeks. This happened 2 more times and finally 15 weeks (yeah almost 4 full months) after I paid them thousands of dollars did they actually ship the item. I can understand that some things are not in within your control, maybe they experienced severe supply shortages? But what upsets me is that they either do not care enough to set realistic expectations or they are to incompetent to be reliable. The product has been up and running for a few days and seems great, but you should buy your durastill products from another company that will set proper expectations.
Price of carbon pods is steep
The price of carbon pods for certain models is steep compared to other companies. It's about $30 year plus at least $10 shipping. If you order more than one, up to 4, you can get free shipping for the extras. But who knows how long the distiller will hold up? If not, you're stuck with a bunch of not cheap filters. Wish they would reconsider a more reasonable price. Make them more competitive with the other companies also.
