The worst agent I have ever had to deal with. I expressed an interest in viewing a property by message and e-mail, not one return phone call and not one return message. Would I use them for the sale of my property - most certainly not!

Excellent communication throughout.
Langport office marketed our home - and sold us our new one! We were pleased they seemed to know their properties and their clients. They suggested properties to us that were potentially coming to the market, and we know they did the same with our house, following up potential purchasers who had viewed similar properties. Our eventual buyers weren't the easiest to deal with and nor were either party's solicitors, but with good communication and timely interventions, we got there in the end. Thanks Chris and Cher.

Relocation from oxfordshire
From the very start of our journey of moving from Oxfordshire, Callum helped accommodate viewings of our new home around the dates that we could travel down which was so helpful for us. Once we had an offer agreed which Gail handled perfectly in securing the house, Billy introduced himself to us as our sales progression manager and honestly he was an absolute godsend!! He communicated with us regularly and chased things when we needed him to! On the day of our move we did have some issues due to solicitors errors but he was on it and did not let up until we had our keys. I did go into the office a few times on completion day as I was a nervous wreck with my son and cat in the car but Isla had a lovely chat with me and was a pleasure to spend time with. All in all buying a house is stressful but they all made it a much better experience 😊

Great communication
The communication throughout the whole selling process was excellent. We had at least one call per week giving us an update on, not only our sale, but the rest of the chain. It took a lot of stress out of the process for us

Excellent communication and support…
Excellent communication and support throughout the sales process from the Yeovil team. Team visited the house before going on the market to familiarise themselves with the property and have information to hand on viewings. Not always the case when we were viewing other properties! Our sale was managed by Lauren who updated us at every stage and worked with both solicitors and agents to move the chain forward where perhaps progress could have stumbled. Our experience was only positive hence 5 stars!

Friendly, professional & compassionate
We have just sold our late parents’ house through GTH and couldn’t be happier with the friendly, professional & compassionate service at what was quite an emotional time for us. Selling a house is always potentially stressful & the experience has the propensity for hiccups along the way but we always felt in safe hands and were kept fully informed by Tom Rawlings.
Coincidentally, I was selling my own house at the same time through a different agent & wholeheartedly wish we’d gone with GTH for our own sale! I would thoroughly recommend Tom at GTH if you are considering a move but are trepidatious about the stresses involved.

If you are looking for an Estate Agent in Ivybridge I strongly recommend Mr Jon Curtis-Hawker, and his team, at this branch of GTH. Not only did he find a buyer for my parents house almost immediately but because of all the sad circumstances involved for me personally and bearing in mind that I lived hundreds of miles away he went above and beyond in taking care to make sure the house was looked after as it was empty and that the sale proceeded smoothly.
He helped me so much with things I could not deal with because of the distance and was so reliable and courteous and respectful in every way. Always obtainable and always got back to me even when he was on holiday. A pleasure to do business with.
I am so pleased that I decided to use the Ivybridge branch and in particular Mr Curtis Hawker. Thank you so very much.

Poor end of tenancy service
Poor end of tenancy service. Avoid GTH if you can. Quarterly property inspections are treated as a tenant nitpicking exercise whilst maintenance issues they should be sorting or raising with the landlord are ignored. Lights left on, property not locked up after inspections and when you raise this, merely due to property insurance implications, they don't like it. End of tenancy deposit return takes too long. Messages ignored. Just terrible service
Quick response back from GTH team appreciated. However this does not address the issue that S.L.As appear more important than customer service, especially for exiting customers, who feel de-prioritised. Moving home is an expensive outgoing, with deposits ordinarily being a significant aspect of this. Once deposit repayment agreements and any applicable adjustments have been made, the button should be pressed, not excuses made. If no resolution is forthcoming within 7 days, the matter will be passed for assessment to the Property Ombusman
