It's a bait and switch, targeting people who need a car moved. I was quoted a price of $345. They asked for and I paid $100 deposit. They asked me to pay $899 when I owed only $245. So it's a con. I can't get a refund of my deposit. Also, they do business under several names such as Smart Car Ship LLC. I am reporting them for fraud, and you should do the same if they con you out of your money. Nothing in the agreement allows them to keep your deposit. Report it to the consumer protection agencies, state and federal, and to your credit card company.

I own a transportation company, I was searching for loads and Mike provided us with one, from the beginning everything was great, smooth and easy, will recommend him and his services with this company. Thanks Mike Jones looking forward to do more business

This is a hasslers group . I found them on website & they sent me email with price& I pick the price & decided to move my car from on city to other city & start to talk in phone
The guy his name is Robert send me a price .the price looks good and I decide to that deal & he asked me to deposit $100 & I did.& I signed a deal after I was waiting to loaded my car he said the driver that we have to pick with this price is delayed & looking another driver & u will to add the price & I said ok I was agreed on new price to to add $100 & after few minutes he asked to add other price again & I said no & I found another people with this price if u can do unless otherwise I will make a deal with other companies & he said ok & he sent a driver his driver didn’t want my car in the back of his truck because he have other cars close to drop off & complaining & the driver left my car .& Robert hold me for five days to find a driver finally he said I couldn’t find a driver & I asked him to refund my $100 & he said I was not taking the deposit he said the first driver he is the one who is taking & he gave me a phone number out of service no one can answer In that number&
Finally he didn’t gave me any service & he didn’t refund my $100 & he started to hide from me my calling & text me .please please please I would not recommend to anyone to be a victim of those Fraudulent Business Practice

Quoted one price, paid to lock in that price. Then suddenly more expensive. Don’t trust these companies. They are worth your time or energy. They also try to hit you with a cancellation fee after breaking their own Terms of Service.

Working with John at Groupon Freight was a great experience. Communication was clear, and the entire shipping process was handled professionally. If zero stars was an option I would have selected that this company doesnt even deserve a 1 star review I contracted with this company to drive a truck from NY to PA over a week ago put a $50 deposit down over a week ago and still have yet to receive the vehicle I was called on Monday by the so called manager Max who informed me that the price I was give of $245 is now going to cost an additional $450 and I would have to put another $100 deposit down and pay the driver cash when he got here ummmmm no thats no how contracts work sir stay very clear from this company all of their phone numbers go right to voicemail not even a company voicemail they dont speak english and its is seriously the worst rip off company I have ever dealt with in my life. Then they beg me to take my previous bad review down and will take $100 off the trip and guarenteed me the truck would be in PA by Monday night today is now Wednesday night still no vehicle. They kept blowing up my phone after I told them shove the $50 and stop calling me The worst experience I have ever dealt with in my life never again

This company is fraudulent. Quotes me a “all inclusive” price, I signed a contract and the day before pick up price increases $400.00. The carrier they chose for me had an old old truck, it broke down and I didn’t receive my car for 12 days. Had to rent a car for $600, they took no responsibility, said read the contract!
Do not use this company

I am not a person who complains much, but I had a horrible experience with this company. Made the mistake of going with cheapest quote. Learned you must ask for a GUARENTEED price or they will likely up the quote by several hundred dollars ($400 to be exact) which this company did once they had secured a driver for my daughter's car. I should have bailed out then, but had put a deposit down already. The communication was terrible with Groupon, I'd hear nothing from them unless I texted first. Having never shipped a car, I was already anxious about it and not getting regular emails made me ever more nervous. My college kid was moving back home because of an illness and I was not in the best of moods, but this company did nothing to allay my fears. The car was not picked up until several days after my daughter left, so that was a problem because she had to enlist a friend to deal with the situation so she could leave. Stress #1. Then I let Groupon know that I had a large family function to attend on the weekend and that I could only accept the car after 5pm. That message was not given to the person who picked up the car, so they showed up in Colorado in the morning. I was frantically trying to put together an event, but kept receiving angry phone calls about payment. It seriously ruined my event. I even ended up yelling at Robert because the whole thing was a huge debacle due to his lack of passing on important info. This company is not professional! They are not listed with the BBB! They aren't up front with info (like this quote is not guaranteed), do not do what they say they will, and are rude to customers once they know they have you over a barrel. I cannot say this enough... DO NOT give them a deposit, DO NOT even use them. Horrible experience!

Lying Cheats!

This is a follow up review from a previous review that I left.

Long story short, I was ripped off, so I left a negative review. Then the company reached out to me pleading to remove the review if I wanted a refund. Essentially holding my money hostage until I abide to their demand. To this day, I have yet to recieve my refund.

Folks, please please stay away from this company. They're scammers and cheats.

It was actually my first time shipping a car to another state. At first I was skeptical but everything worked out great. Robert who was my agent from start to finish was incredible. From the driver picking up the vehicle on a Friday and delivering Monday morning on time. 5 stars from me! Thank you!

Robert Brown was my representative and kept in very good contact while setting up our car getting shipped from Marlborough, MA to Daytona Beach. Everything went exactly as I was told it would. The driver also called before he brought the car and showed up on the day that was scheduled. I'll definitely use them again if needed.

Not only was their price about the best I could find anywhere, but they did what they said, and they did it in the specific timeframe I needed. Doing things as promised may sound like a given, but it is often not the case with other car transport companies.
