Asda rewards used to be brilliant, when you shopped instore as I do most weeks and sometimes more than once a week you would scan your ASDA Rewards card and put money in your pot that you could then convert to coupons to use for groceries and such. Not any more you get absolutely nothing! My history on the ASDA page says I haven't shopped there since November 2025!! Rubbish. They say their prices are lower on their fancy TV adverts but thats a load of rubbish too. At least with Sainsbury's you see your points converted into cash each time you shop. Shame on you ASDA!!!

Shocking service.They couldn't tell me if my order has been done or not.I've just been told the vans go back at 10pm.If I don't have my order by then it's not been done.I had to give a star to write the review.NO STARTS FROM ME.

I want to make an official complaint about the above order as I’ve now sent two emails and sat on hold 3 times and when someone finally answered the line goes dead before I can speak!!

This order was due to arrive yesterday (27th May) between 8.30 and 9.30pm.

I had made many arrangements to have someone available whilst I was at work to wait in for the order, including waking my children up and also bringing them!

The fact that at midnight nothing had arrived with absolutely no correspondence is appalling!!

I’ve spoken to customer service this morning who say the Kendal Asda are not picking up the phone so he will issue a refund and give me a £5 voucher!

This is not satisfactory at all!! I spend a lot of money with Asda and this is the 3rd time this has happened!!!

I’m now left with no food at home and I’m working over the other side of the country so to now arrange trying to get my family a delivery today whilst working in a huge strain!!

My order was £155.

Not only do I want the full refund to hit my account by the end of the day, I always want 50% crediting to use for my next order! So an additional £75 credit!

Otherwise I will be voicing my complaint on social media platforms and Trust Pilot as this is horrendous customer service!!

Ordered over £120 in groceries for at least the week. I have one day to eat all the food. I have requested a refund which was declined. Disgusted. What a waste of money and food! Would highly recommend avoiding Asda. I will never order again.

Stock availability is hot and miss!

There are long queues for customer service.
Their staff/ customer service never have any answers- the cashiers feel ‘foxed’ by the Christmas paid up Gift card - they have to consult at least 4 people before they can process the gift card.

Then when the customer gets held up in the paying in queue at the till; eventually succeeds in paying for the shopping; gets a parking ticket from the Notorious Nasty Parking Eye -
for the privilege of paying with the Prepaid gift card!!😫

Now that they have got that Nasty Parking Eye ( the worst in the UK)
in their car park; I shall Never go there again!

Paid for one year of Asda food delivery, so 4 orders delivered and all with substitutes, understandable 1 or even 2 but the last order was 4 subs, I'm diabetic so cannot have sugar so ordered Ribena no added sugar, i got Ribena with sugar, ordered free range eggs, got caged hens eggs, ordered peperoni pizza, got cheese pizza, ordered large hot dogs, got two small tinned dogs.
As non of the subs were anything like what i ordered i handed them back which ment i was supposed not to be charged for them but guess what when i checked i had been charged for them all, nearly £10, so i had to spend 30 mins on the phone to be told they would return my money in 3-5 working days, so they get to keep my money for there mistake? and of course i will now have to do the very thing i was paying for home delivery for in the fist place and go to the supermarket to get the right things.
If your thinking of paying for a Asda delivery pass it may well be better to save your money, but if you do get one then do check when you hand things back that you actually do get the refund.

Here for 11.30 on a short work break. 23 minutes later. People emerged but not with my order. Never again.

Terrible experience with asda groceries delivery, ordered a express order for delivery 12:30-1:30, 2pm still no sign, checked app to see driver was there waiting, hour later order cancelled,and told to do another order. Did another order for 5:30. Again no sign, contacted customer services who said delivery was behind by 2 hours but the manager promises it will be there no later than 8pm, gets 8:30..still no sign! Customer services puts me through to the store and I'm told "order hasnt been picked, we've gone past delivery cut off service now, so we will have to cancel the order!! Nothing else we can do!" Even more annoying as my husband drove had past the store on the way home from work, if there had been better communication he could of collected. Told to do an order for the next day, placed order only to receive my order receipt and nothing is available, so I cancelled order. Only to have the driver turn up 4 hours later with two crates of water as it seems even the substitutes on the order weren't available, told him it had been cancelled and to return it, he tells me I was the third customer in a row to say the same thing. Asda really need to sort it out. I will no longer be using them

Just had delivery from asda. The driver was very nice. Arrived on time and with no substitute.

Ordered my shopping from here and they’ve sent meatballs that have a best by date of the 26 of May. Today is the 24th. They are unopened and covered in mould

Just had my first delivery from Asda, i was very nervous having heard and read numerous bad reviews. But I have to say, my experience was fantastic. Was able to order what I wanted, only one thing not in stock at picking, not an issue. Delivery was within the hour time slot, the driver was very friendly and had such a happy personality. I will be using this service again and more regularly.

Absolutely disappointed with my Asda online grocery order. I ordered food for next week’s dinners and nearly all the meat — chicken, turkey, cold meats etc — was dated to go out of date within the next day or two. What’s the point in ordering ahead if everything needs used immediately?

I don’t want to freeze everything, defrost it later, or spend an entire evening batch cooking meat just to make it last. It completely defeats the purpose of doing an online shop for the week ahead. Totally pointless and really frustrating. Won’t be doing that again.

So misleading. Chicken crown with onion and sage gravy. Chicken crown on box but it's actually 2 small Chicken breasts. In the gravy. It was dry, wooly Chicken. We ended up throwing it away. It says something when our cat turned her nose up and walked away....she'll eat anything going. Please don't waste your money. Misleading and to be honest disgusting. What a waste of money, especially when everyone watching their pennies. To end up in the bin. If I could give a zero rating I would. But unfortunately, it's a one. 😡

What have you done to the Taramasalata??? Last year it was great, nice texture, lovely flavour, but now it's like a cream yoghurt, but no real texture it should have, with tons of vinegar, almost make me throw up just pure vinegar, wtf are you doing? Taramasalata shouldn't have any vinegar in it, or very little, wow you know a supermarket is going downhill when they scrimp on ingredients for a dip

I ordered (among other things) 2 Ariel Washing Powder 65 washes at £13.25 each, but the receipt showed £27.00!
Why the extra 50p?
These were not in stock so I was substituted with 2 Ariel 44 washes which are priced at £9.98 each but the price they marked it as for the pair was £26.96!
Almost £7 difference!!!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE check your receipts, they are stealing from you!

Gone really downhill, big price increases and lots of substitutes even when hardly buying any items the drivers are not on time like they used to be either

Delivery drivers are always on point and excellent. But it’s such a shame that everything is getting substituted these days. 42 items and only ten are what I actually asked for. If you’re running low on this stock then don’t advertise it. I would click don’t substitute. But then I’d only be left with ten out of 42 items.

Half if my order was missing.. driver said hes not sure how this has happened and said only thing he can do is give me a refund for missing items....which ill have to wait for 3-5 working days to appear back into my account....I literally started to cry as I have two kids to feed one who is autistic and only eats certain food and I had no more money left in my account ...so I was left in a mess .....how is it fair ...why could they just not get someone to bring out the missing items which I desperately needed......I had no apology and also they didn't refund me my asda rewards I had used on my order too which was a complete waste of time......atleast show some compassion in issuing out a voucher to apologise .....I felt so embarrassed that the driver had to see me breakdown......not his fault ...just a really bad time and bad experience.

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE!!
I have just received my first Asda online grocery delivery. I am absolutely blown away by the standard of service. It is EXCEPTIONAL!! David the delivery man delivered to my door with a smile and helped to unload with care and professionalism. He is a credit to Asda. I have used other supermarket grocery delivery services in the past, but I will never go back to these. I will stay with Asda. One of the items was not available, I was informed in good time, and was able to have the product replaced with a superior item! I couldn't be more happy with the service received today. Thanks for making my day David!!

DO NOT USE ASDA EXPRESS DELIVERY. I paid over £8 for express shipping only to have HALF my order missing—over £50 worth of goods gone, yet I was charged in full.
The "Customer Service" Joke:
Refund Denied: My initial request was instantly rejected.
Illegal Excuses: A rep actually told me they "aren't liable" because it’s a third-party courier. NONSENSE. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, my contract is with ASDA. You are legally responsible for the delivery!
Fake Promises: When I pushed back, the story changed to "wait 24 hours" and I was given a fake reference number just to get me off the phone.
The Reality:
It turns out I’m not alone. There are hundreds of people being scammed the exact same way. ASDA is taking money for goods they never deliver and then hiding behind third-party excuses.
ASDA, GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. This is daylight robbery. If this isn't resolved immediately, I’ll be taking this to Section 75/Chargeback and formal reporting.
Avoid at all costs!
