Although the people who worked for us were real professionals, we are quite unhappy with our experience. Although I specifically mentioned that we needed to see samples of the stones, the crew came with a sample book which did not include the granit Norwegian Labrador Antique that we had got an offer for. They told us that if we had seen it somewhere else, it would be the same stone, but offered to send us a sample. We decided to go ahead without seeing the sample. It turned out that the stone was lighter than what we had seen, but much worse, it was full of pits, so that many spots don't shine and look like dark stains! This is a very expensive stone, much more expensive than the others we were shown and since we had about 10 meters of counter top, plus the back-splash on the wall, it was a rather expensive affair. In addition, the sink they delivered was not what we had ordered and we waited a week for the new one. The installation crew agreed with us that the stone was full of spots and I complained. I was told that often, granit is treated to fill up those pits with wax and some other material, which Granitop does not do, and that it could not be done now (the answer I received was word for word the same as the reply I got from my comments here). We have seen the labrador granit at some friends and it is beautiful and all descriptions we found on the net highly praise it as a gorgeous stone. The one we have looks old and cheap and I have no doubt that we paid a very high price for a second rate stone. In addition, they made an error on a seam for the back-splash (it's not behing the faucet as it sould have been), but by then I was so upset that I did not bother to complain. I never write on-line comments of work done in our home, but this time I think it's important that we share our negative experience so that future customers are aware of the problems with granit.

Vi beställde en carrara c-skiva av Granitop. Mätning och installation gick smärtfritt problemet vara bara att den skiva vi fick inte alls påminde om en carrara c-skiva utan snarare såg ut som den marmor som bolaget självt beskriver som carrara c/d.
Den avviker kraftigt både från bilderna på deras egen hemsida och skivorna i deras showroom.
Ingen avstämning gjordes med oss om att skivan var betydligt mörkare och mer marmorerad.
Efter klagomål så säger företaget att det visst är en carrara c för det säger leverantören i Italien och att vi dessutom skrivit på att stenarna kan avvika från exempelbilderna. Det har vi naturligtvis gjort och det är klart att stenar är individuella men den här skivan påminner inte om en enda carrara-c skiva jag sett i hela mitt liv.
Företaget är inte intresserat av någon förhandlingslösning så vi får se om vi lyckas bättre hos ARN.

Da vi skulle finde en ny bordplade til vores køkken, prøvede vi at undersøge markedet. Danske stenhuggere var både dyre og havde en lang leveringstid. Vores henvendelser blev ikke taget særlig seriøse, opmålinger ventede vi længe efter, nogen stenhuggere kom slet ikke. Køkkenfirmaet lavede en pris på 79000kr på bordpladen, hvilket var alt for dyrt efter min mening.

En sen aften stødte jeg tilfældig på granittop.dk. Sendte en mail. Kl 1 om natten. Fik svar efter 6 timer, og et opkald fra deres kundeservice.. God opfølgning, tryghed, en serviceopmåler kom 3 dage efter, vi fik set prøver, han kom fra Stokholm. 12 dage efter første mail, var bordpladen monteret. (vi havde snakket med danske firmaer i over 2 mdr. Uden succes)

Vi sparede ca. 47% eller 37000kr. i forhold til den danske køkkenforhandlers pris.

Tak til Janno, og resten af teamet for et godt resultat, og en glad kone. Jeg anbefaler alle der ønsker granit eller stenplader at handle hos jer.

Great experience with Granitop!

I was very unsure whether the kitchen top we had ordered would be possible to get to the 4th floor in my building, but the installers assured me that they thought it would be possible, they just had to be careful. The delivery went fine and I now have a beautiful marble kitchen top.

Granitop took care of the measuring, delivery and installation for a price that was much lower than competing providers. I can highly recommend them.
