Horrible Since Desktop App Went Away!
Since the REAL desktop app was removed the program has been more trouble than it's worth. I've been using the program over 25 years and swore by it, my clients never had a problem and neither did I. NOW - it's a freaking nightmare!!!! The clients are always having issues connecting, the meeting will not record anything if I'm not using my computer speaker (which I don't - I call in). Because I call in it looks like I'm in twice. Scrolling is backwards, resizing never works, using the ESC key creates all kinds of problems (it used to end the season - so something has been 'fixed'). I am actively looking for a replacement. It's not as easy to schedule someone or send the meeting invite - I use Outlook installed on my computer, not the web app - so that creates a problem. When I send the invite through Google and someone responds it sends two responses. The lag is so much worse than ever - it uses so many resources that it REALLY slows both computers down. I use this for teaching clients and troubleshooting/fixing basic problems and there hasn't been a meeting yet without problems. If they don't download the 'desktop' app (which isn't anything like the old desktop app) - then you can't access remote control and 'scrolling' just resizes their window! This is a product I've depended on for 25+ years and it never let me down - until the last few months. And on top of everything else - you can NEVER get a REAL PERSON on support? It's really disappointing to have so many issues with software that was easily 5 starts for 25+ years, now I dread having to use it. I wouldn't recommend it now - although I did for years.

I disliked the turnaround communication with Hardware sales rep Heidi King. She has delayed the process of us ordering a phone for one of our employees. Very delayed responses. In addition, all the other reps when I call in for an issue for assistance are very helpful. Thank you.

We've moved from GoTo to Teams because many of our customers had trouble connecting.
There was also a problem with typing in Linux commands during a meeting because the escape needed for vi was being interpreted as a GoTo command.
Ease of use.
I use it all of the time
I use it all of the time. It is easy to work with and I can share my screen easily. I do not like the new version, but I'm getting used to it since I don't have access to the other version. When there are changes, I would like to know ahead of time. But it is really easy to use in combination with Canvas, I wish there was a call in number in those invites so one doesn't have to go to the website to get the numbers for people to call in if they don't have internet at the time of a meeting.

Before the changes were made when people call in by phone as the organizer I could mute and unmute but now I can only mute, l wish that part of the meeting was the same as before. While teaching Bible study with a group of older people it worked better for me to unmute them at the end of Bible study for questions and concerns. Thanks 🙏🏾

Extremely Unorganized and Constant Confusion
I had a very disappointing experience with GoTo. The onboarding process was extremely unorganized, which made it frustrating from the start. It's incredibly hard to get in touch with someone when you need help—whether it's via phone or email. Even worse, they don’t seem to comprehend or properly read the emails you send. I’ve had to explain the same thing multiple times to three different reps, none of whom seemed to be on the same page. This lack of communication and coordination has caused unnecessary delays and headaches. Unfortunately, this has been an overall frustrating experience.
The app is easy to use

GoToMeeting was once the preferrable web platform.
GoToMeeting was once the preferrable web meeting platform working flawlessly until an 'improvement' in a user interface made by GoTo, which made the platform unusable. I gave a try to GoTo meeting a few days ago and that was a mess confirming that the company has lost - intentionally or unintentionally - any interest in providing true service to the users. This is a usual sign of the company's degradation.

We have been emailing our rep questions for months have had no replies. Reporting is not accurate on agent performance. Pause states cannot be reported in detail. This has been going on for over a year. Will be replacing in spite of cost increase. It is that bad.

I like all of the features of GoTo! The phone calls are nice and clear, too.
Suggestion: The messaging application does not allow for conventional typing by using the return key on a keyboard to add a space to make a new paragraph. I want to suggest this feature be added to your to-do list of enhancements

Its not always reliable. Drop calls. No one can figure out why. We sometimes may be missing calls. Bad for business

i feel as if it is too expensive for what we use GoTo for, don't get me wrong, i thing they are a good company and if we contact with issue they help, we probably call in a total of 3 to 4 times per year. we only have phone and lines not much else required for us.
Screen Sharing = THUMBS DOWN
The "share your screen" function is inconsistent. When you select "pause," the window you were sharing minimizes, which then allows the audience to see your desktop. This is a horrible user experience for both the presenter and the audience. The previous version of GoTo worked very well. This version is incomplete.
