We booked a holiday through a local travel agent (she is brilliant) for New Zealand the company was gold medal which seemed ok, it was a great holiday but we had issues w the campervan which I thought gold medal should know about.
They have a contact us which doesn't do anything, they also have a customer service link which I did manage to contact them through only to be told that due to security measures I would have to contact the agent.
What is the point of a customer service contact if they don't want or aren't interested in customers contacting them
Apart from campervan issues it was a great holiday

We booked a holiday with TUI through Gold Medal, to Orlando, staying at Disney ( Port Orleans French Quarter) followed by Universal (Endless Summer Dockside.) Both hotels were great but unfortunately we had to cut our stay at Universal short, when our dog became seriously ill. Gold medal helped to arrange an early flight back and obtained a refund for us when Universal charged an early departure fee of $214. We are very thankful to them for their compassion and support when we really needed it. We would highly recommend this company and definitely book through them again.

Fantastic service from Tarina when I booked a 2 centre Bangkok & Koh Samui holiday yesterday. Tarina recommended upgrading the customers hotel as there was an offer wth 25% off. The customers were delighted and booked immediately.

Mike at Gold Medal, was extremely helpful with my 2 Australia bookings, he was very patient as it took a while to find the right itinerary for our customers.

Laura Grunewald was an absolute Star!
I had a Cruise & Stay that a customer wanted to confirm at 8.30pm on a Friday evening, with just 3hr 30 minutes to a Campaign Change and an increase in price. I emailed Laura to let her know that the customer was ready to book and that they were mindful of the increase in price if booked the following day. I had an email back within 15 minutes and the full booking was made in just over an hour. Exceptional service and attention to detail!

I'm incredibly disappointed.. the reality was far from it. The flights were delayed, the hotel was overbooked, and the promised excursions were cancelled at the last minute. To make matters worse, the customer service was appalling. I spent hours on hold, trying to reach someone who could help, but I was met with unhelpful and dismissive representatives. I'm so frustrated!

I had a very complicated enquiry, budget was important to get to, and client wanted a variety of options. Thought Rebecca Lamb had great patience & tenacity and helped me with really expert skill even though she herself was very busy, she gave me a great deal of her time and we got this very nice booking and the client is going to have a wonderful holiday, so thank you Rebecca!

Recommended and pushed me into the most inappropriate hovel of a hotel stating it was 5 star. It was in fact a 1 at best. Raised a complaint (with evidence (photos and videos) and their response was “no compensation as there’s no evidence” 🤦‍♀️ It wasn’t even investigated. They said they would look at it again and now they refuse to speak with me at all 😤 Asked for copies of emails/calls etc via a Subject Access Request but they have ignored this also. Don’t give these scammers a single penny of your money as they do not care about their customers whatsoever 🤬
UPDATE: Amazing that you can reply to a bad review within hours yet this issue has dragged on FOR MONTHS with no compliance or resolution!! You ‘allegedly’ have ‘investigated’ this twice now and yet here we are warning others about your company. Reminder that your 30 days to comply with a SAR runs out on 29 January and it must reach me by then or ICO gets involved. I’ll be seeing you in court as you have reached my final bit of patience!!
