I have just made a booking over the phone with Melissa Wilson. She was very professional and really easy to do the booking with. There was a problem with the hotel but she soon found me an alternative at a lower price the customer was very happy. Thank you Melissa you were great :)

Nathan at Gold Medal was really helpful in answering my million questions and showed great patience when going back and forth to perfect the quotation for my clients.

Thank you to Sharon also for staying late to get the booking all confirmed.

Booked though TUI, used as a third party to arrange holiday little communion from them.
Transfers to & from hotel didn’t turn up as no details were provided. Had to book our own taxi both ways

My family and I have recently returned from a holiday to Cancun Moon Palace The Grand in Mexico TUI Booking Ref: 24880947.

Unfortunately we were completely let down by the third party airport transfers.

On arriving at Cancun International airport we made or way to the hotel transfer area outsider the airport and looked for the TUI rep. After locating the local TUI rep we were told that there was no booking with TUI as the booking was with a third party (GOLD MEDAL Reference GP76LBB).

We were booked with a company called AMSTAR for our transfer to the hotel.

Again we looked around and found a rep for MOON PALACE Resorts again he told us that they had no booking for us to the resort.

Again we searched for an AMSTAR rep, but could not find one. After 1 hour and completely stressed, HOT and exhausted from travelling we had to book a taxi on our own which cost me $2800 pesos.

On departing the Moon Palace The Grand to go to the airport we had no information on when the pickup would be. Again we had to book a taxi to the airport which cost me $1500 pesos (no receipt given when asked).

Awful service awful company!
After booking multi trip to America for my son’s 21st birthday with this company, they changed 5 flights without our knowledge and split our group up. We did not agree to the change and when we questioned it we were told yes you can get the flight you want but it will cost you. BA stated if they cancel we get to change it not have it changed for us. We lost time at the start of our trip and the end. We also are still expecting a refund for an internal flight which they have told us to apply for ourselves. We did this originally but the airline stated as gold medal booked it they would have to request the refund. After waiting months for a response all I got was an apology and told to do the refund myself. They have atrocious customer service with no regard to how they actually ruined my son’s 21st birthday.

I was very politely told you wouldn’t do anything else and I would get no further communication from you. Not the best customer service when you ruined a 21st birthday of my fist born son, something I will never get back.

This time Lee was in his working hours but often he will do bookings for me on his days off!!

Daniella from Cruiseplus went above and beyond to help get the booking across the line. Very prompt service and as usual in a happy cheerful manner. Very thorough and ensure we had all the information to give to customers.

Fabulous work from Carla Butcher, she helped confirm two flights, one was to Melbourne Business Class, other was to New Zealand Premium Economy. The reason I needed her help was they both wanted to be on the same flight to Singapore! Very patient and helped me secure two lovely bookings. Fantastic level of service.

Big shout out to Nicola Rimmer again, going above and beyond to confirm a booking for me on her day off again !

Booked through a well known travel agent . Paid a good deposit for four people , two had to cancel . The holiday was 7 months away but when the other couple cancelled they wanted another £200 because they did . Now I have seen Gold Medals cancellation policy and it states you lose deposit if you cancel within 70 days of holiday .
Out of principle we decided to cancel the whole holiday .

I booked an all in holiday of a lifetime to Disney world with gold medal via my travel agent (PP751AQ) this included an inclusive trip to Kennedy space centre. On the day I took my wife and 2 young children to the pick up point and waited for our bus which never arrived. On contacting my travel agent I was advised that gold medal had forgotten to book me on the tour. I had to find my own way back to my hotel wasting half a day of my holiday. We were advised to book an uber at our own expense and travel on another day which we did. This was to be reimbursed to my account before returning home. Over a month later my travel agent advised that a final offer had me made to cover my uber only this left me out of pocket when taking into account taxis, tips etc. this offer was refused but was credited to my account anyway. As this issue was caused by the incompetence of gold medal I expected to receive all my out of pocket expenses and some good will payment to cover the loss of half a day holiday, uk phone calls, family upset and the hassle of rebooking the trip. A £100 voucher for a future holiday was offered and refused as I will not be travelling with this company again.

Always super helpful and their Knowledge is incredible - Tom is a credit to the company and we always use him for our bookings where possible.
