In the 4 years I have used them the 1 claim I had to make was settled quickly and fairly(I was travelling in Australia!).
Great service and very fair premiums.

Helpful to the hilt, over 15 yeas or so, they've helped reduce premiums where possible rather than try to shove things down my throat and have had helpful suggestions which I've really appreciated

I never thought I'd ever praise an insurance company but hats off to Glover and Howe. I've been insuring my photographic equipment for over 10 years now after being recommended by a colleague. I guess the real honest way of judging an insurance company and how they perform is when something bad happens to the equipment that they are insuring. Flying back from China on a job a couple of years ago all of my equipment was stolen which we think was from Heathrow after the plane had landed, I reported this to G&H straight away and after a few questions over the phone from a member of their team, a brand new kit arrived at my house a week later. Thats exactly how an insurance company should work. I also love the service, you phone up and a human being answers the phone in no time to deal with your query. All in all, I think G&H provide a fantastic service and I will continue working with them in the future.

I have insured my equipment with Glover and Howe for 20 years and have always found them very professional and helpful with any enquires I’ve had. Most importantly I’ve found them to be extremely competitive on price and they offer discounts to BIPP members.

I have insured all my photographic equipment with this company for 10 years and am extremely happy with their professional and efficient service for professional photographers. I got mugged on assignment in St Petersburg some years ago and they dealt thoroughly with the losses incurred which were regrettably large. No hesitation recommending this company.

Excellent customer service and price.
Have been with G&H for several years and have just renewed again as they try and match prices with other companies although may not ultimately be the cheapest. However the main reason for staying with them is the excellent customer service where calls/enquiries are answered promptly and efficiently. You also deal with 1 of 2 people (I dealt with Rachel Wilkin) so you don’t get a random person each time unlike bigger companies. I know that the real test of how good they are is when you need to make a claim which (touch wood) fortunately I have not had to yet but from previous reviews I am led to believe that they would manage the claim quickly and effectively which is the most important part.

This is the most efficient insurance company I have ever used. Changes to policies are done quickly with minimum of fuss . The no claims discount is good.

I have had my photographic equipment insured with Glover & Howe since 2016. Fortunately I have never had to make a claim but it is great peace of mind to have insurance, both when staying in the UK and while traveling abroad. Photographic cover changes are managed quickly and efficiently and any emails are always responded to quickly. I’ve paid for the insurance using BACS as well as by phone - Rachel Wilkin is always very friendly and helpful. When you make no claims you get a substantial discount which I appreciate. I highly recommend Glover & Howe to anyone who wants insurance cover of their photography gear.

Recently renewed our Camera Club's Photography Insurance for 2020/2021. Due to the Coronavirus disruption, and reduced staff in their office, this was carried out over the phone, re-assessing the amount of cover required. This was carried out efficiently and courteously with Rachel Wilkin, and after making payment online, I received an email confirmation with the renewal documents later the same day.

Glover & Howe offer cover for photographers that is both comprehensive and uncomplicated. Happily, I have not yet had the need to claim but the kit is expensive and having the confidence that it is covered by a reputable company is reassuring. As a company, they send out interesting news emails to keep in touch and to inform. The renewal process is easy albeit I am disappointed that Amex is excluded as an option - not enough for it to be a minus point. Overall, I am very happy with Glover & Howe and will not be looking elsewhere.

My renewal was due just when Coronavirus was causing chaos. This company (Rachel) had great patience with me when I needed to alter my details. Can highly recommend them as a company. The Royal Photographic and no claims discounts made the renewal very reasonably priced.
