Great value for money
Really impressed with the quality of the door. It was one of the cheaper ones I’d found online but it looks expensive in real life and was easy to fit (according to my builder). Very good value for money.

Great with a problem.
The door ordering was quick and easy. After ordering the door it came on the day promised. The door was fitted easily and all was going well until the key on the outside would not turn in the lock fully when trying to lock the door. With a lot of head scratching I noticed the top and bottom claw locks where hitting the bottom of the receiver meaning they where not fully engaging into the frame. We had to move both of the steel receivers about 10mm and make the hole behind match the new position. This solved the issue and it is now working and lookin great. Please look at your manufacturing process to ensure this does not happen. It's a tiny error but its really difficult to find with the door closed.

Poor customer service&communiation
Getting the door was nothing but hassle!
Order was supposed to come on the original delivery date. Took day off work to be home for the delivery - and the door never arrived. When I called (30 mins before close) they said that there was an issue with the delivery process and it won’t be coming until we get a new date.
We then got given a different date, again ensured I was home to be there for the delivery, and was told the Friday before that it was now going to be delivered the following day, and not on the Monday. So again another wasted day off.
When it was eventually delivered using a courier service, the driver assumed we were in a commercial building with a forklift… we are actually a residential address! The poor driver was under so much stress to get the door delivered as he was given false information by Global Door.
Poor service. Poor communication.
The door looks okay - but as we had to cancel the door fitting TWICE it hasn’t been fitted yet, so not sure how it fits.

I have reviewed your order and liaised closely with the manufacturer to understand the cause of the delivery delays.
Initially, your order was delayed because it was not loaded in time for the scheduled delivery. I apologise for this oversight; this is an uncommon occurrence with our supplier, and we are still investigating why this occurred.
Given the proximity of your delivery date to Christmas and the limited time available, the manufacturer decided to use a pallet delivery service following the initial delay to ensure your order would arrive beforehand.
While pallet delivery can present challenges, such as the delivery date running on a 2-day service and the door arriving on a pallet, we chose this option to expedite the delivery.
Please be assured that this pallet service is not commonly used, and the details of this delivery method could have been communicated to you more clearly.
Typically, deliveries are made using the manufacturer’s own transport with a confirmed delivery date.
Once again, I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused. We hope you are now able to look forward to installing your new door.

Very disappointing service
I reached out to global doors for help as after five years after the door I purchased from them started to drop and was not locking properly.
This is their response:
As the hinges on the door are a butt/fixed hinge there isn't an adjustment through the hinges that can be made. Other than making sure that all the screws in the hinges have been tightened and similarly in the frame fixings, you may be best speaking to an experienced door fitter to see if they have tried and tested methods.
Basically, “computer says no” so great looking doors, but the doors cannot be realised because they are not using adjustable hinges.
I reached that again to see why they were unwilling to help. I have not had a response.

Really good company to deal with
Really good company to deal with. I wasn’t sure what to expect but they were very quick to respond to phone calls, emails, issues and enquiries and were really helpful and friendly on all occasions that I spoke to someone. Surveyors and fitters were polite, friendly, turned up on time and did the job to an excellent standard. Very happy with the door and the after service.
Would happily recommend.

Terrible customer service.
Terrible customer service,I ordered 2 doors and delayed delivery until a Friday that I had off work, 1st door came on Thursday prior without notice and second door didn't come at all.
Several emails went without reply so I rang them to ask where my door was there response was that I knew as much as they did and they would have to find out.
No new delivery time was arranged until I rung the courier firm and arranged a delivery slot when I was at home which they stated they couldn't do.

Thank you for your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear you have been left dissatisfied due to the delivery issues with your doors.
I have spoken with the manufacturer to understand the issues with your delivery. They have advised that due to the current volume and your delivery location, your orders were delivered by a third-party transport provider as opposed to their own transport.
The transport company used deliver on a 3-day service, which means delivery can vary by 3 days. Please accept my sincere apologies that we were not informed that delivery would need to be carried out this way, so we could keep you promptly informed.
I would also like to assure you this delivery service is not the normal service the manufacturer uses; however, this was used to ensure your orders were delivered in the expected lead time.
This is now under review for the New Year to try to prevent issues such as yours from occurring again.
Once again, please accept my apologies. We truly hope you love your new doors now that they have been delivered and hopefully installed!

The door was manufactured to exactly what I ordered and arrived on time the driver was excellent and delivered to my front door I asked if he needed any help and he said I'm fine you carry on great service/customer care will definitely use this company again plus the price was superb.

Door looks nice but it's no good
Nice looking door but it's no longer closing properly. We have to slam it so hard the house literally shakes. All the silicone on the outside of the door looks as though it's coming away and the frame isn't sturdy. As for the key, we can hardly get it out. If we were being chased by robbers they would catch us because the key is so difficult to take out. I mentioned this to the fitters when it was installed but they said I just need to get used to it. I'm so upset as I've spent over £2000 on this door and it hasn't lasted. Tried clicking on the link for the guarantee and it's disappeared. I regret buying this door I've given 2 stars because it looks nice just not working.

Technicians got on with the job from arrival to departure, cleaned as they went along and were polite and respectful of the house. Excellent job. Really happy with my new front door. Would absolutely recommend global doors. Five stars.
