I used these over 10 years ago and it was fine then they claimed a percentage automatically on a future refund so I rang to state I did not want this anymore, they were nice about it and agreed to stop future claims however, from recently logging into government gateway i have found out they are still recieveing mail on my tax affairs. This is not authorised, I have submitted a contact form after which I will put in a subject access request and see how I can escalate further to stop them.

Got a £99.90 refund and they charged…
Got a £99.90 refund and they charged over £90 in fees and vat, complete rip off and scam, stay well clear, I also think they did the claim illegally as I did not apply so something serious wrong here, I am concerned and will be contacting the tax office this week to find out how they got access to this amount of my money.

Pointless SCAM
Didn't hear from them for years until I now have a letter from HMRC saying that my overpaid tax has been sent as a cheque to them and not me. They attached themselves to my GOV ID as my agent and are impossible to contact.

I filled in a form claiming WFH tax return after COVID - in 2021... I have since received a tax rebate as I have moved tax brackets etc in the FOUR years since I filled in that form. The company somehow leeched on as my 'Tax Agent' and are even listed as so on my HMRC Portal, completely without my knowledge. I have not had any correspondence or dealings with them whatsoever and they are now sending emails/ texts claiming that I owe them £460... shocked that HMRC are able to allow this, be aware!!!
