I called in looking for a portable vice. The unit was listed "in stock", but not in its allocated space. Two people started looking for it, and soon found it. Friendly, helpful, wanting to get it right. Much appreciated.

These guys displayed absolute amateur conduct I can’t believe they are still in business. Took the money never had the goods, told of a short delay, the told it was shipped. Waiting waiting then after numerous emails and calls find out the goods were not shipped. Beware of the stalling tactics - now waiting waiting for a refund. Over $500 in limbo. Now onto Fair Trading. I hope you can avoid all this.

I ordered a tool that we required as soon as possible on 09/07. I was not told they did not have the product, and I am still waiting for the delivery 27/07. I will never use them again. I tried to save $10 it was not worth it.

Poor communication and poor service.

Brought the wrong tool spoken to customer service we received email explaining how to send it back - sent tool back three months ago still waiting for a reply with so many emails all I want is my replacement tool
Phoned to complain and cancel order to obtain a refund and was advised that nobody could talk to me about this and that someone would call.... later just received an email advising that the order was canceled and a refund had been given.

Poor communication and poor service.

Happy took my money online, WEBSITE FAILS TO MENTION ITEM WAS OUT OF STOCK. After best part of three weeks got told that delivery will be in just over a months time. BY TXT Message,

Phoned to complain and cancel order to obtain a refund and was advised that nobody could talk to me about this and that someone would call.... later just received an email advising that the order was canceled and a refund had been given.

If the refund takes too long to get back in my account, fair trading might get a call.

Would not use these people again unless their level of service and stock availability were honest.

5 weeks from ordering online to receiving my items, the website let me order items they didn’t have in stock hense the delay, poor communication all round, I should have just went to my local tool shop as the price were pretty much the same and could brought there and then!

the braces are great and hold my trousers up well bit more adjustment would be better

Ordered 3 things from their website. After ordering I was advised that 2 of the items were out of stock and there would be a 5-7 day delay. A few days later I got a phone call to say the delay was 2 weeks. 4 weeks later I got an email from the courier to say the items had been picked up and they would deliver them at their convenience.
Don't expect that the stuff on their website is in stock and don't expect to get stuff quickly. I'm still waiting 4 weeks later.

I placed an order on 12th July, expecting my order to arrive 2-7 working days from then, as I’m located in the Perth Metro area.

I was advised on the 15th July that there was a delay with my order as an item wasn’t in stock.

After not hearing back for 4 working days, I emailed to find out the status of my order and explained to Andrew Watson that I needed my order by 26th July. He replied to advise me that my order would be dispatched that day and I would receive notification. When I received notification the following day, the ETA said 1st August.

Confused, considering I had explained to Andrew the importance of receiving my order by the 26th July, I queried it. I was told that yes, that ETA was correct and Australia Post takes 10 working days for delivery...

When I voiced my concern to Andrew about how I expected that considering the delay and the fact that the website says if an order item is out of stock that it will be marked as ‘priority goods’ and dispatched ASAP, I was in disbelief to have received no response. No apology. No express postage.

It was a great transaction & product arrived very promptly.

Placed an order 3 weeks ago and expected it to be despatched within a few days. Instead I had to wait for them to deposit money into my credit card and then verify the amount. This process took close to a week. Item was then despatched but it still hasn't turned up. Never doing this again, should have gone to Bunnings.

Get Tools Direct certainly made up for the extended delivery time on my purchase. They supplied me with some extras which are of great quality and extremely useful in my trade. They stayed in contact and advised me of their plans. I would definitely purchase from them again after such an effort. Thank you

Generally good however purchased an item online only to later be told that the item was listed incorrectly and that I needed to pay extra (a lot!). Very disappointing. Need to keep online store up to date and accurate, or risk disappointing customers.
Otherwise, quite fast service and delivery.
