I found our advisor listened to our needs and then reviewed this both from an internal funding but also external funding perspective. In the end Funding Circle matched our needs perfectly.

Things started well but when I reached out for some help through their "Vulnerable customer support" numerous times I have been ignored. Despite paying every month for almost 3 years, one payment was delayed by less than a week, it has since been paid yet I'm still getting bombarded with letters emails saying payment is overdue. Still no reply to my email asking for some support. Clearly just ticking a box by having that section on their website.

My experience using Funding Circle
was smooth and straightforward. The application process was simple to follow, and the platform clearly explained each step. I found the loan options transparent, with repayment terms and rates laid out clearly, which made decision-making easier.

Customer support (ELLA GLENDINING) was responsive whenever I had questions, and the approval process was relatively quick compared to traditional lenders.
One thing that stood out was how convenient the digital process felt from applying to receiving updates without needing excessive paperwork or branch visits.

Disgraceful experience with this website. Clearly on a data collecting exercise.

Was looking into cost of funding for a business expansion and spent around 3 hours trying to get through their process.

Entered all my business information, entered existing borrowing information, entered personal information, entered shreholder capital, then came to open banking and there were only 3 banks provided.

Our bank Revolut was not one of them. I seen the option to upload six months of statements and chose that. It came back with a message about the documents and unable to verify. So I tried breaking the documents into monthly statements instead of one six monthly export. Same problem.

ChatGPT suggested uploading other documents to make the cashflow easier to understand such as credit card statements, then it suggested VAT returns and then it suggested a letter explaining the cash flow as it wasn't entirely typical.

I spent half a day at it and got the same message every time.

I called up today and they stated they simply do not work with Revolut, meaning they cannot provide funding for anyone using Revolut as their business bank. There is absolutely nowhere at the start or early stages of this process where this is made clear and it should 100% be stated from the outset to save people wasting valuable time.

Utterly disgraceful platform that clearly is hiding this information so they can gather all your data nonetheless.

Despite it now being a fully registered UK Bank.

The service provided by Funding Circle is first class.
