Very pleased with James and the team at Fresh Move
I am living in a rented property managed by Fresh Move for over a year now and have been meaning to write a review.
I have found James and the team to be excellent in all my dealing with them. The few calls I have made have always be returned or dealt with efficiently and politely. They were very understanding and considerate during the initial period before I moved in while references were being taken and for that I was grateful.
I would have no problem recommending them

Flexible. Efficient. Effective.
I found Freshmove to be straightforward, efficient and totally effective at handling the installation of my latest tenant. The service provided was tailored to my exact requirements and Penny was always prompt in providing information, updates and attention to the process from start to finish. Rents and deposits were transferred to my account on the same day as the tenancy started without delays. Would have no hesitation in using the services of Freshmove again.

Good to get you in, then ignore you
Worst company I have ever dealt with. They never reply, ignore you and don’t help with maintenance issues. To top that off since I have moved out of the property they have given out my name, telephone number and previous address to a third party company without my permission. When emailing explaining this was a data protection issue I got no response and they have ignored me ever since. Will never deal with this company again!!!!

It is difficult to respond to your review because we have no idea who you are or which property you are referring to.
We are not aware of any emails that have not been responded to and your statement advising that we never reply is completely inaccurate. We have a unique maintenance system that allows tenants to report damages and upload pictures. All this is documented with time frames so no maintenance is left for any length of time. Some tenants do not respond to contractors as that leads to delays at times. We only ever give out details to contractors to gain access or discuss works as specified in our tenancy agreements and privacy policy. Your details would not have been given out to anyone for any other reason. Would you be so kind to expand on your complaint and be specific regarding the address of the property.. Our team work really hard to ensure that all works are completed quickly and all emails responded to.

Freshmove have fantastic people who are helpful and very responsive in queries or questions when I've contacted. They massively supported us through the application process for a property we were looking at and within 4 weeks (if that) we signed the tenancy agreement and moved in March 2019. We 're now comfortably settled in where we are thanks to them. Much Appreciated!

GOOD Customer service isn’t that difficult. Most other agents just want your money, these are a different kettle of fish! What makes them unique is their local and independent!
Love their little smart cars too! Always see them driving around the bay! Can’t miss them!!!

Great company
reasonably priced, no hidden fees, once you’re in, that’s it. I was sick of my previous agent charging through the roof for “admin fees” every six months for a tenancy renewal. No such thing with these guys!

I would not recommend this company
I would not recommend this company as I agreed to a rental property and they have now offered this property to someone else, this is very upsetting as I had shown this to my children and said this was going to be there new home, all the paperwork went to the agents and they advised that the deposit was ok to be sent on Monday as I viewed the property on a Saturday and they advised that nothing to be done until Monday, they also informed me via email rather than calling me to advise, I really would not use this company as the customer service is terrible and now has left me so upset. So people please read this before you use them.

Dear Mr Gazzard
I am sorry you feel this way but as explained on Saturday at the viewing and again on our applicants information form that was sent to you Monday morning at 10.12am that the property is not secured until a holding deposit is received.
Unfortunately, we had additional viewings booked on the Monday afternoon that were requested over the weekend and one of the viewings resulted in a holding deposit being received. We then contacted the landlord and he agreed to progress the couple to referencing.
We continually experience applicants that say after a viewing that they wish to take a property and in many cases it never results in a holding deposit being received.
You had every opportunity to transfer the holding deposit and as we clearly explained the property is never secured by any applicant until 1) we have received a holding deposit and 2) the landlord agrees to progress that particular applicant(s) through to referencing. Thereafter, the applicant still needs to pass the referencing process to ensure that a formal tenancy contract can be issued.
We will continue to do viewings on any property until a landlord has agreed to progress an applicant to referencing and it was unfortunate on this occasion that your holding deposit never arrived.
We are very sorry that you do not wish to work with fresh move again as we had several other properties that we intended to contact you about becoming available over the course of the next month including one that is coming up in the same road (we are just waiting on dates). We would advise anyone who sees a property they really want to go for that they secure it with a holding deposit.
