I love my frames and mats! The website is easy to use to create your custom frame and mats. They came very fast and extremely well packaged. There is no shortage of support to make sure your experience is enjoyable. The how-to videos are informative and easy to follow. I would absolutely recommend Frame It Easy!

Perfect! Very easy to order these mats for my Ikea "Lomviken" frames and non-standard size artwork. I wish the shipping was cheaper but once I got my order, I completely understand. Order was extremely well packaged and no damage. Thanks!

Could not be more disappointed for the price. I was thinking I was paying for high quality materials and craftsmanship but instead got pure trash. Ended up throwing it away. acrylic arrived scratched and filthy. cleaning it was time consuming and massive pain. I ordered a double matted frame and I assumed either the overall size would match so the inside matting would show an even reveal or be connected. Instead they are two completely different size pieces of cardboard so its on me to measure the reveal to get it even then tape or somehow get them to stay in place as to not shift. I honestly spent an hour just trying to clean and get the matting correct before giving up. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Extremely unresponsive customer service. In spite of posted business hours they cannot be reached by phone and are very slow in email response.

To add insult to injury, their very belated email response asked me to "share my shopping cart" — which had automatically been emptied by their website. Because it had taken them too long to respond!

So they ignored 1) all of the text of the email I sent them and 2) the painstakingly created diagram of what I wanted which I had attached in PDF form...

...and instead, said "Share your shopping cart."

I was VERY impressed with my first order from this frame shop (which did not require any human interaction), but I am very UNIMPRESSED with the lack of attentive customer support.

I am open to changing my review and rating once this is resolved...

...but only if they respond quickly enough before I take my business elsewhere.

If I could leave 10 stars, I would.

I have a solo show coming up and have been searching everywhere for a very specific frame size to fit my watercolors. I can’t even count how many frames I ordered and tested that just didn’t work. By the time I ordered from Frame It Easy, I honestly didn’t have high hopes.

Then the frame arrived.

Within minutes of placing one of my originals inside, I knew this was it. The quality is spectacular. Clean lines, beautifully constructed, and perfectly suited for professional presentation without blowing my budget. As an artist, that balance matters. Most collectors end up reframing artwork to suit their homes anyway, so finding a frame that looks this good for gallery display at a smart price point is huge.

And the customer service? Incredible. My order shipped within three days. The packaging was beyond secure. In fact, it was packed so well that I’m reusing the box to safely transport the framed piece to the gallery. That kind of thoughtful packaging makes all the difference when you’re handling original artwork.

Frame It Easy is officially my go to for future shows. You’ve earned a customer for life.

Update: I received replacement screens yesterday and installed them today without issues. Thank you! I will consider ordering more frames from you. Hopefully next time I won't have the same issue again.

I received three frames today. Two have blue streaks on the screen. I sent a complaint including photos to "Frame it easy". Unfortunately, after the initial response to send photos they are not responding anymore. I'm really unhappy about this purchase. I'm a returned customer and expected a bit more customer support.

Awful!!! They need to put a warning on their site not to bother unless you are a trained professional with very strong wrist muscles and a warehouse of tools. Nothing easy about it. It is extremely difficult--piece of junk. They don't want me to submit the review. It says to give the exact date and I am doing so and it says "give a date." Read the website! I did that!

We recently bought a beautiful custom-sized frame from Frame It Easy for a piece of art we brought back from a trip to Vietnam, and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. From start to finish the quality, communication, and care put into our order truly stood out.

Designing the frame on their site was intuitive — I could tailor everything to the exact size and style I wanted, so it fit our art perfectly. The finished frame looks fantastic on our wall and does justice to the piece we picked up overseas.

When it arrived, the packaging was incredibly secure — no scratches, dents, or damage whatsoever, which was clearly a priority for them.

The frame itself is solid and feels like a quality piece you’d get from a local shop, but at a better value and made right here in the USA. It’s obvious they care not just about selling a frame, but about delivering something worth displaying. I’d absolutely recommend Frame It Easy to anyone wanting custom framing that’s simple, reliable, and beautifully made.

My only call out is that once I placed the order - updates/shipping/communication was lacking. Meaning, I never received any follow ups after the initial order which I found strange.

We had 6 camera phone pics we wanted framed for a gallery wall in our home, so I looked at several online framing sites and found that Frame It Easy offered all options we wanted (custom sizing, large selections of frame materials and colors, and the ability to upload our pics for them to print on acid free foamboard. Placed the order and 11 days later, received a WELL packaged box of our framed photos. We are very pleased with the result, and all six cost a total of about $300 including shipping cost, minus a percent off coupon. If I had a question (and I did) I received a response the same day or next morning. Excellent work and I won't hesitate to recommend this company to friends and family.

This is a review on the customer service specifically as I haven’t received my order. This is some of the best customer service of my very long online shopping life. They email quickly with a real person. Offer multiple accommodations to fix a problem and are beyond generous with their support. I’ve never written a review here before but I was actually shocked at how easy and wonderful they were to work with . Thanks again!

They are a total avoid now for me as well. You better make sure THEY understand what YOU WANT, or YOU WILL PAY FOR IT... over and over.

So after the matting cut arrived incorrectly, they offered to resend the correct matting for the cost of shipping only. I guess they thought that I was born yesterday. Not only do I know something about this business, but I also ship products. There's no way that the matting cost more than $1, and you could ship something that weighs a couple of ounces safely for far less than over $10.

They conducted a master class on how NOT to run customer service and retain loyalty. Their attitude should have been: "Let's make this right," but it became: "Let's make more money." This is the third frame I've purchased from them, and it will be the absolute last.

By the way, I discovered a local framer who did it correctly and did it for free. She will of course be receiving some form of payment and gratitude, and my business forever.

If your business model is profit over customer satisfaction, like Frame It Easy, then eventually everyone will find out.

I ordered a custom frame that was supposed to be art size 10 1/2" x 11 1/2" and when it came I found that it was 10" x 11 1/2" which is totally incorrect! Their explaining is that I must have overlooked that the frame will over lap 1/4" onto the art. That was never explained in the ordering/measureing process and even if it was what happened to the other 1/4" that was incorrectedly measured by them. Then in the return, I am only to get back what the frame cost - no postage refunded. By the time I paid for the postage to send it back and not getting their paid postage, it cost me $32.17!! WHAT A RIP OFF! DON'T EVER USE THEM!!!

Disappointed with Quality — Not What Was Promised

I ordered four large custom-sized frames for my own artwork and three medium custom-sized frames for my family's atelier photographs. This was a deeply meaningful project for me. I had invested significant time creating the artwork, having it professionally digitized, and selecting what I hoped would be sleek, chic, high-quality frames to display them.

I chose the Dayton wood frame style, which, according to the website, is made from North American hardwood and described as "rustic and unique" — with a disclaimer that natural grain patterns may not match perfectly at the corners. I understood and welcomed the character of natural wood, but what I received fell far below reasonable expectations.

The frames looked poorly crafted, inconsistently and incompletely painted, and had visible stains and scratches. Rather than rustic charm, the appearance suggested carelessness in production. They lacked the elegance and quality I had hoped for.

To make matters worse, each frame arrived with a noticeable amount of dust and debris, especially around the edges and corners. Cleaning them was time-consuming, and even after a careful effort, I couldn’t fully remove the dirt from every crevice. This made the unboxing and setup process frustrating and disappointing.

Given the time, care, and emotional significance of the pieces I was framing, this experience was a letdown. I truly hoped for a product that would honor the value of my artwork and photos — instead, I received frames that felt rushed, messy, and far from premium.

Took almost two weeks (which they said up front) and only sent a “shipped” email on the day it arrived, and it was missing one of the mats.
Now waiting for the mat that was missing, Martin asking if I’m sure it’s not in the package. He didn’t seem to care much about this major inconvenience. Using it as a gift, I have to ship it late to my friend who’s now out of the country. We’ll see how long it takes to get the missing mat I paid for. (And they haven’t confirmed they’re sending it).
Not worth the trouble. There are plenty of other companies who are faster and more customer service attentive.

We should have known this was too good to be true for the price. For $338.03 (includes a 15% off discount) we got two frames for 30"x45" prints. The frames are fine for smaller art, as I have ordered from this company before, but for large photos I urge you to stay away. Even with the metal pushers to keep the print against the plastic and with the cardboard backing, our prints looked wavy and unprofessional. It is really a shame because the company would not stand behind their product and instead blamed our art as the problem. The best they would give us was a 50% refund. The prints were from premium photo paper--there was nothing wrong with them. We took the prints to be professionally framed and have two janky Frame it Easy frames sitting in our garage.

Outstanding company! Every step of the ordering process is very straight forward and easy to understand. Delivery times are clearly stated when ordering and the frames arrived when they said they would. The way they pack the frame for shipping makes them almost damage proof!

What has really sealed the deal for me is, when there was a small mistake with my order, they were VERY quick to respond and VERY quick to correct the mistake. It is an imperfect world, but what matters most to me is how those mistakes are responded to and Frame It Easy was professional all the way!

I ordered two frames, they arrived in a reasonable amount of time and were the exact dimensions I’d ordered. The finish was true to what’s on the website, the overall quality just what I was looking for at a fair price.

My first review here. The frame is perfect! The art was a weird size, so I was afraid a custom frame was going to break the bank. It was very reasonable and quicker than I expected. The shipping packaging was bulletproof and they even included a hanging hook. I'm bookmarking this site.

Fantastic service. They provide a range of options for customization, have quick and responsive customer service and they pack your picture with great care.

I have used them twice to frame artwork that was an unusual size, a size I cannot find ready-made at any store, and doing custom frames locally was crazy expensive. So I found Frame It Easy and paid half the price of my local stores, for frames that fit my unusual-sized artwork perfectly. The frames and matting were beautiful! Trustworthy company imho.
