Absolutely stunning book, though pricey considering what ordinary copies sell for here in the States, but this edition is extraordinary.

My first Folio Society purchase did not disappoint! I've long wanted to acquire one, and my daughter's 18th birthday was the occasion. I got her favorite book, The Shining, done in beautiful Folio Society style. It's gorgeous and special and something she will cherish always. Thank you.

Folio Society knows how to make a special edition of a classic novel like this, down to the most minute detail. The focus on the story over the movie version helps suck readers deeper into the tale, without distraction from other adaptations. A true work of art!

The Shining is one of my all-time favorites, and Folio did not hold back with the quality here. The illustrations are gorgeous, the detail behind everything that comes with this is impeccable. Highly recommend to anyone who adores The Shining as much as I do.

A lovely book but Folio Society would do well to include what edition the book is in their description. I would not have purchased this had I known it was a 2nd Folio Society printing
