pls pay attention for all private hire drivers fleeto is a big scammer company they give the vehicle for hire and if you return the car before 3 months even you give advance 2 weeks notice and return the car they not refund your deposit back pls dont hire a car from them i have 3 more collegues as they had a same happened and i am the one of them as he took my deposit and never gave me my deposit so pls make sure when you hireing the var from them they misslead the information and when you return the car they point out new terms and conditions which is they have never manshion when they giving you hire rental agreement.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. However, we strongly disagree with your comments, which are unfair and misleading. Fleeto operates with full transparency and has proudly served thousands of private hire drivers across London with honesty and professionalism.

When you sign a hire agreement, the terms including contract length, notice period, and deposit conditions are clearly outlined. Just like with a mobile phone contract, an 18 month term would naturally offer a better rate than a 12 month term, but early termination comes with charges, which are also detailed in the agreement you signed.

Returning a vehicle early without completing the agreed minimum 3 month hire term may result in deductions or loss of deposit to cover costs, as per the signed contract. Should you have wanted a shorter term, we may have been able to adjust it before the start of the agreement. In many cases, we also try to avoid these charges unless there is a clear breach, as our aim is always to maintain good relationships and welcome customers back on hire.

We use a clear system for agreements and vehicle check in and check out reports, with time stamped records automatically emailed to customers for complete transparency.

Worst customer service

Worst customer service. Called them to get pco hire agreed on price and send documents, when all checks done the guy asking more rental then what we agreed. Later he called me and making stories I told you this and that. Guys please be careful with this company.

I'm a new customer and Masum and staff…

I'm a new customer and Masum and staff at Fleeto self drive has from my experience driving for 35 years customer service is outstanding with there polite and caring attitude towards customers.
Nothing is to much trouble and helpful regarding any issues.
I highly recommend to anyone thinking of hire a car short or long term that thay take all the stress and worry from hiring there vehicles.

Avoid Simple Self Drive – Misleading Information and Poor Service

I want to share my experience with Simple Self Drive to help others avoid losing their deposit and wasting time. When I first contacted them to rent a hybrid car, they pushed me towards an electric vehicle, claiming they didn’t have any hybrids available—even though their website clearly showed hybrids as an option.

The information on their website is completely misleading. They advertise a £200 deposit, but in reality, they demanded £500. Additionally, the minimum rental term was listed as 4 weeks, but when I spoke to them, I was told it’s actually 3 months.

After some time, I agreed to their terms. They required the deposit upfront before sending any documents. Once I sent the deposit, I had to chase them with multiple messages before receiving the documents—but even then, not everything I needed was provided.

When I tried to contact them for clarification, their customer service was awful. They repeatedly told me I didn’t understand their system and made it clear that if I didn’t go through with hiring the car, I would lose my deposit. Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened.

In summary, my experience was a complete nightmare. If you’re considering renting from Simple Self Drive, be prepared for hidden fees, misleading information, and terrible customer service. I hope this review helps others avoid the same issues I faced.

There are no hidden fees — all deposits, hire terms, and rates are explained in advance before any booking is confirmed. Vehicle availability and pricing can vary depending on the model, insurance criteria, and driver profile, which is why final details are confirmed during the booking process rather than solely relying on website examples.

All required documents are created individually based on the customer’s submitted information and are always provided before vehicle collection to ensure accuracy and compliance. We also upload the vehicle documents on your behalf to your ride hailing app to make the onboarding process smoother and save time.

Deposits are handled in line with the rental agreement and are refundable where applicable. However, cancellations after a deposit is made are subject to the standard terms agreed at the time of booking.
