You bought a hollow cross. The product page shows 4 photos, front and rear, clearly showing the item is hollow. We do not describe it as solid. It is also priced as hollow, based on gold weight.
We do have solid crosses. They are described as solid, and the photos show them to be solid. But of course you would have had to pay more.

Very prompt delivery. Excellently packaged with lovely packaging for me to use for my purchase. The item itself a gold figaro chain was of good weight for the price and felt quite substantial enough. Really shiny gold and felt quality not at all flimsy. Thank you.
