Whilst I want to say I’m happy with the experience I received from Fix Auto, I was let down at the last minute. Office staff were reasonably helpful but it took time to arrange a time for repair and the use of a courtesy car.
It was the courtesy car that let the experience down, and the sheer lack of following their own protocol.
Upon collection of said car, one guy stood with me whilst second guy went around the car. I was asked to sign for the collection of the car, this I did in good faith.
I paid for the insurance excess for work that had been done and off they went. The work carried out was reasonably done.
Then I got a tel call from garage explaining the car was returned damaged. The tyre was damaged. But…
I was not informed of this upon collection, I was not shown said damage or had it pointed out to me whilst signing, when the car was on my property.
I requested photo evidence and I was shown the car at the garage location. So, who’s to say it wasn’t done on their drive back to garage?! As a woman, I didn’t think to check tyres that morning, only bodywork. So I am at fault and did pay for the damage. But I’m incredibly disappointed by their attitude and lack of their protocol.
So, if you need to use a courtesy car from them, be vigilant.

What appeared to be a large scratch took two weeks to repair, not told there was a dent but new panel required?
When car returned clock not reset, WARNING SIGN that rear tyre showing only 22psi, all tyres 32 to 34 psi on collection (we check weekly as aware we have a faulty valve). Now passenger door will not open from inside. How come for a rear wing respray an 1/8th of a tank of fuel used? Certainly not recommend from this experience and will be in contact re passenger door.

Took care of my car and the repair was a good job and handed back in a clean condition

Fix Auto’s service was amazing they brought back my car in a mint condition, at first I wasn’t sure it was my car I was seeing. Thanks Fix Auto’s you guys are amazing.

Customer service was excellent. Debbie was always lovely and helpful. Overall, the work was slower than I would've liked and the lack of courtesy cars available was inconvenient.

Fix Auto Daventry, were the assigned repairers by my insurance provider. I can’t fault their customer service or the workmanship on my vehicle.

Repairs were well carried out. Most dash panel settings had been changed and I have no knowledge why. It took me some time to get the dash panel to look what it had been including a visit to Kia in Warwick for their help.

Really good car provided for the week, my car picked up and brought back to me. The repair is to high standard.
Two reasons why I didn’t award five stars, first the long delay waiting for the fix, secondly the dirt (which I know was on my car when it went off for repair) was extremely hard to get off.

My car was with Fix Auto in Daventry for 6&1/2 months. 5 of those months were waiting for a part. I was told this was escalated to head office. However when I discussed this with Volkswagen and told them the situation, they were not aware of any issues. I actually had to ring up for an update in Dec and was told the car was fixed and went to Seat for the new Cupra badge. This took another 2 weeks. Then once the car was back, I was then told the paint work had failed quality control. I was so irate, I didn’t actually say anything. How could you have the car for so long and then still fail the control. Then once that was all sorted I was sent the car. When I received the car, it was filthy, hasn’t been cleaned inside or out as I had been told it was. Still drink marks all over the dash from the crash. Inside of windscreen so dusty I couldn’t see at night. Foot prints on boot mat. I have also escalated with fix auto Daventry. Received an apology, but I want compensation for cleaning.

Very friendly, efficient service from the initial quote right the way through to completion of the repair.
The result of the job itself was excellent and the car had also had a full valet when I collected it.
