Senti and Phoebe were both excellent in answering all my questions and queries pre and post purchase. Would highly recommend the Birmingham store and staff to anyone who is looking for a no pressure, friendly experience.

After buying a poor excuse for a weight bench from an online supplier, which sadly, did not live up to expectations, I decided to go a bit more 'up-market' and buy a bench from a recognised sports equipment supplier. I eventually opted for Fitshop and bought the Tunturi UB80 Weight Bench. This is an excellent piece of kit, with easy-to-understand instructions and a relatively simple process to put the bench together. The only criticism I have is that assembly requires two different sized Allen Keys, which as I didn't have I had to order. A minor issue but I have now added a good set of Allen Keys to my toolbox. So, about the bench. It's really well-made, robust and great to use. The height is good, the bench padding is comfortable and for the free-weights training regime I use it fits my purpose. Fitshop has a great reputation and sells high-quality products.

Very happy with the advice given on the phone and in the Chessington store. The installation team was extremely professional too.

Garth helped me choose the right dumbbells and equipment for my fitness goals and made sure I had a good experience when I had requirements around transporting. Came in not sure what I needed but gave helpful advice.

Fantastic product, great price and waiting time for delivery excellent. The only negative is the actual delivery, the guy knocked on door, I answered and he just left the mats in my garden, how the heck am I supposed to get them in the house/ garage myself they weigh a ton! Yeah delivery could be a lot better but product itself really good.

I would love to review the product but I have never even received it. Unfortunately you can't give 0 stars. The couriers were never given my full address for delivery so although I had booked a day it didn't arrive, I was not contacted by the courier or fitshop. I had to hassle the courier and after 45mins on chat with them was told I couldn't amend the address and that the supplier had to, getting fitshop to do anything was slow at best. Fitshop had supposedly been chasing the courier but supplied me with no updates unless I hassled them again very slow at replies. I am still waiting for a refund to place my £2000 order elsewhere, it has been nearly 2 weeks since it was meant to be delivered. Service is shocking. Won't be using them in the future, there are plenty of other suppliers all at very similar prices.

Fitshop Nottingham staff were excellent. When the product I wanted was out of stock they reserved it for me, and as soon as new stock was available put it aside and contacted me. The product itself, Tarus viynal covered 16kg kettlebell was of excellent quality and will stand up to many years of use.

Shocking ... that's all i can say. Ordering is easy, but why wouldn't it be, this is the point there taking your money. If you want some customer service .... then don't bother wasting your time on the phone. Oh and if you want to cancel the order due to poor service they tell you you will be charged the delivery ... even thought its not been delivered. With Gym equipment there's little difference in price.. i would find a different retailer! Update from the above- Fitshop have been rude, arrogant, unhelpful and totally inept from the start, thankfully the order is now cancelled and I will find a decent company that actually cares! Who know when I will be credited for the money spent… I can’t wait for that argument with them! - Further update 11/08/2026 still no refund, spoke to the finance company at they said Fitstop have not processed the cancellation, spoke to Fitstop customer services and for the second time ..... the member of staff was beyond RUDE!. when i said she was rude she hung up ... classy! SERIUOSLY DONT SPEND YOUR CASH WITH THESE PEOPLE! THER ARE BETTER COMPANIES OUT THERE. Looking forward to sending the a CCJ next week if no further response.

I would strongly advise you read carefully before considering to buy from Fitshop UK.

The equipment I received was damaged on arrival and had to be returned. Fitshop confirmed they had received the returned goods at the beginning of April 2026, yet they failed to refund my money until 20 July 2026—over three months later.

During that time I made numerous phone calls and was repeatedly told they had received the goods, but despite this, no refund was processed. I continually had to chase them for my own money, which was both frustrating and completely unacceptable.

In my view, this falls well short of the standards consumers should expect and appears to be contrary to the requirements of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 regarding refunds for returned faulty goods. A customer should not have to wait over three months for a refund after the retailer has confirmed receipt of the returned item.

To make matters worse, the only goodwill gesture offered was a small amount of store credit. After the experience I had, why would I want to spend any more money with the company? A genuine gesture would have been a partial cash refund or compensation, not credit that requires me to shop there again.

Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience. While the refund was eventually made, it only happened after months of chasing. Poor customer service, an unacceptable delay in returning my money, and a lack of meaningful resolution mean I cannot recommend Fitshop UK.

Dom was very knowledgeable and helpful, even running of to get a tape measure so we could compare sizes of our old treadmill to the one we bought. No pressure, very straightforward, understood what we needed.

For The tenth time its very simple please read this slowly
The instructions provided with pictures sent to you show ALL parts have a part number the box of bits you supplied me had NONE no part numbers what so ever, Not one piece was identified , just thrown in the box , It took days to assemble as it had to be taken apart where easy mistakes were made . Then on Page 27 Pictures sent to you it again it show 2 X 650mm weights need to be installed in the frame work where every house in Great Britain does not have the ceiling height , again it had to be taken to bits, The instruction should state this on page 1 Not 27

i just spoke with nathan regarding an amendment to a recent order. he was polite, helpful and solved the issue. also, the item i purchased that was incorrect for me was happily and easily swapped out and he very kindly didnt charge me the extra few pounds for the correct item as a goodwill gesture just for being a customer and getting in touch. brilliant service and company, let me know my full order will be dispatched tomorrow- amazing fast service and seemingly amazing company with friendly helpful staff. highly recommend, thanks again nathan!

Really great staff. Took the time to go through the rowing equipment I wanted and made sure it met my needs rather than getting a quick sale.
