Very poor not to be trusted £350 for a lost key see my correspondence below

I am writing to formally address the situation regarding the lost key and subsequent lockout at the property. While I completely accept responsibility for misplacing the key, the handling of the situation by your team has unfortunately resulted in unnecessary and unreasonable expenses.
I am requesting that we resolve the financial details on the following points:
Unresponsive Emergency Contact (£102 Hotel Bill): When I realised the key was missing, I immediately phoned your emergency management line. I received no response, leaving me stranded late at night with no alternative but to book an emergency hotel stay costing £102. Because your team breached its duty of care to respond to an urgent tenant emergency, I require the full reimbursement of this hotel bill.
Lack of a Spare Key (£247.48 Locksmith Bill): I was shocked to be told the next morning that you do not hold a single spare or master key for a commercially managed rental property. Had a standard backup key been available, a simple duplicate could have been made for a nominal fee, or a contractor could have assisted with entry. Your choice to operate without a duplicate key is what forced an expensive, full lock replacement. Before paying the locksmith who you engaged, I require agreement that this £247.48 minus the cost of replacement keys is to be reimbursed I am happy to pay for the cost of cutting the replacement keys, but I do not believe it is reasonable for me to cover the full £247.48 total lock replacement brought on by your negligence and a lack of basic property management backups.
If you prefer, please submit a formal request or partial refund offer through the official Airbnb Resolution Centre so we can handle this transparently through the platform.

Leetor was a gorgeous cozy property in the lovely town of Porthleven. Check-in was easy and our hosts were responsive with our initial queries. The photos did not do the property justice and it was cozy, well equipped and very clean - it was also located just a short walk from Porthleven’s cafe’s, market and pubs which is always handy. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return - thank you!

The cottage was located in a beautiful estuary, with hills either side. The cottage was well equipped, cosy and warm. It was a short walk to an excellent local pub., with an extensive food and drink menu. The cottage itself is situated at the end of a Toll Bridge, the staff of which also look after the cottage. These people were very helpful and friendly. There is a large car park a minutes walk from the cottage.

The local area has many walks and interesting places to visit. The coast is only a short drive away.

We thought it was a heavenly place to spend our honeymoon.

I could not rate the team at Finest Retreats more highly. Emma and Danielle are extremely friendly and professional and go above and beyond in the support they offer the cancer community via the charity 'Something To Look Forward To'.

Lovely house in a very good location. Came to Hadlow while on a week veterinary placement and this house was just perfect for us - had everything we needed in the kitchen, beautiful bedrooms and a full bathroom. Very easy to book and access the house, owners explained everything before we even got there over email.

Danielle responded positively and quickly to all our queries and the description of the property was correct. The payment and the conditions were easy to follow and understand.

Myself and 2 friends stayed at Heron Luxoury lodge in Bourn, Cambridge for 2 nights. We were celebrating our 40th Birthdays! This was a beautiful lodge and did feel luxourious. We stayed in June on a very hot weekend and were grateful for the fan provided on request. The lodge looked exactly like the pictures, great facilities onsite only a few minutes walk away and we made use of the nice pool and sauna. There is a very nice air conditioned bar at the golf club too and we enjoyed a lunch there. This was perfect for our celebration offering peaceful and beautiful surroundings, very comfy beds and a fab hot tub. Only thing that would be helpful is a easy to use guide for appliances and wifi codes. Thank you for making us feel at home and for a fantastic weekend away. We will be booking again and can highly recommend!

Lovely rooms, immaculately presented. Staff very freindly. Quiet location close to marina and beach and only 20 min walk to the pier.

Great location in the centre of Filey yet only a few minutes walk from the beach and gardens. It's an enormous plus that the accomodation has it own dedicated parking. The accomodation itself is modern, clean and very well maintained. The booking process is easy and any questions are answered promptly.

From start to finish I was kept fully informed and given useful suggestions for our stay. They also answered my e-mails by return, even on a Saturday.

Our group of 12 recently stayed at ARC Padstow to celebrate a friend's 60th birthday. What a superb house for a large group, all enjoying a bedroom each and plenty of room if anybody needed private space. The fully equipped kitchen was a delight, as was the hot tub and fire pit, with thoughtful additions of sweat shirts and rain coats for use if needed. A short walk away from the local pub with gorgeous home-cooked food, plus a bus stop outside the pub take you into Padstow within 10 minutes. Special thanks to Emma who answered questions promptly and organised a last minute change to bedroom layout effortlessly. If you're looking for a luxurious holiday for a large group, this is it! We will definitely look at the Finest Retreats portfolio again for any future group stays.

This is a nicely updated place with lots of space. However, you can definitely tell it's run by a company and not an owner who cares about the place. We called the first day because none of us could get the heated bathroom floors to work. The woman I talked to just sent me a link to the house instructions, which was not helpful because we already had those. When I called back the next day and spoke to a different person, they said the home management team (or something along those lines) would contact me. No one ever contacted me. When I called back a third time, and talked to yet a third person, they said someone would contact me. I had kind of given up at that point and no one ever contacted me. Again the place is nice, but there were many maintenance items that I'm sure have been overlooked because this is company owned. In two of the bedrooms, the shower would leak out onto the bathroom floor despite all efforts and you could plan on having your entire bathroom floor flooded after every shower. There is a pool in the backyard which is nice, but a hot tub would have been much more preferred with the generally cool Cotswold weather. The door handle on the patio door completely came off and we had to use an alternate door to access that space. They had nice battery powered salt & pepper shakers, but batteries were dead so unable to use those. The spices provided are very old and most were empty so no one is even checking those. You can tell that a cleaning crew comes in and perfunctorily cleans, but doesn't actually check things over. Also, the information given about the WIFI password was all incorrect, and we couldn't get a hold of anyone to find out what it was because it was a weekend. Fortunately, my son was able to guess it after many attempts, but the password wasn't any of the ones they provided to us. There is a washing machine that takes about 4hrs to do a very small load of laundry so, not ideal for large groups. Would also suggest providing more blankets in the sitting areas, and larger nightstands in few of the bedrooms that have very little horizontal space to place items. So this is a great place for large groups with the huge dining table and many sitting areas, but don't expect any personal service. Easy check in, nice kitchen appliances, comfortable mattresses and good location. So for a big group this works well as a base.

The house was exactly what we needed: clean, well-equiped, calm and cosy. And that for a very reasonable price. We can recommend it to anyone!

My stay in Bovey Tracey was lovely. Beautiful accommodation, very clean and tidy and exactly as advertised. There was scones and clotted cream left in the kitchen for us and the kitchen was very well equipped. There was umbrellas by the door - little things like that are so nice to have and make you feel right at home. Had a little trouble finding the place but got very quick replies from the Finest Stays people to help, and it was nice to have responses from a human being rather than automated message. Would recommend.

The process through booking and the stay was excellent and the team were always available, professional and helpful.
If you need a big, special place for a family get together I would highly recommend Ty Penbryn.
