I've been dealing with Ffordes for well over a decade now and the customer care and service has never been less that top notch. it's great to deal with staff who care so much about both product and customer. Ffordes embodies why real shops with real staff are relevant and vital in 2023. Here's hoping it's around for a long time to come.

Went to Ffordes yesterday to have a look at some binoculars. On top of lots of really helpful information and advice we were given a lengthy opportunity to thoroughly try out and compare numerous models. This wasn't going to be any sort of high value sale for them but even so the staff member listened carefully to our requirements and advised accordingly. He was very genourous with his time, we never felt rushed.
On top of all this, Ffordes price on the pair we finally chose was extremely competetive. We additionally received much useful camera advice and information even though we were clear we weren't planning to purchase anything in that line just at the moment. We left as very happy customers feeling that we'd been helped to make an informed choice and will certainly be returning when looking for photographic equipment in the future.

I have used Ffordes many times over the last few years, I rarely post reviews but felt a review following the last encounter was one that is long overdue. I had been badly let down by another company who despite having received my deposit for a new lens did not, and could not fulfill the order. In desperation I called Ffordes who checked stock, and took my order at around 15:00. To my delight the lens was delivered at around 10:00 the next morning. Previously I have bought new and second hand items from Ffordes they have always been as described and service has been class leading. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I was nervous about buying the expensive lens that Ffordes had in stock given that it was an online purchase and I couldn't view the item first. I shouldn't have worried. Ffordes customer service was outstanding. The lens came in perfect shape (and packaging) ultra fast. Communications were excellent. All round a really great experience.

I really needed a specific Sigma lens, just happened that Ffordes had it on their websites. Having never heard of this company before, I wasn't sure what to expect, but after I placed my order the service I received was outstanding. Customer service was top-level, and the delivery and lens was exactly as described. Now, I can confidently say that I'll come again!

Ffordes sold my Leica and got me a very fair deal, they are knowledgeable, efficient and very pleasant to deal with. More recently I rang them from overseas for advice on my new digital camera, they were so helpful and patient and solved problems that were way beyond me. Highly recommended.

Following on from dealing with them for commission sales, I bought a lens from Ffordes against trade in - they replied promptly to my enquiry; made a fair assessment of the items I wanted to trade in; and the lens arrived safely and was as described. They were prompt and helpful in setting up the transaction. I have dealt with Alister and the team at Ffordes before and will confidently do so in future.

I bought a new Canon RF 100mm macro and I had two lenses to be considered for trade or sale and arranged to call in to collect the lens on Friday 7th April as I was passing the shop anyway. Alister from Ffordes went out of his way to help me as neither of us had realised when I arranged to call that the shop was closed for Easter. Service above and beyond from Alister as I have my lens and he has the trade in. Delighted we sorted the transfer and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ffordes. The 100mm lens is superb btw.

So refreshing to deal with a company that really cares and goes that extra mile! Bought a Nikon Zfc body. Mint condition. Excellent price. Next day delivery. No hesitation in recommending👍

I have bought lots of items (cameras, lenses and all sorts of accessories) from Ffordes over many years. Of all the photographic equipment suppliers I've dealt with, Ffordes is far and away the best.
Not only is the service excellent from initial phone enquiry to the delivery of the goods bought, the equipment is always in a much better condition than one might expect. Ffordes are not generous with their condition gradings, so if an item is advertised as, say, Excellent + it's in much better condition than items I've bought from any other second-hand retailer.
Ffordes is definitely a firm which delivers the goods - in all respects. Long may it flourish!

I recently purchased a used Pentax 28-105mm D FA zoom lens from Ffords via their website. The staff were very helpful in supplying additional and high quality images of this lens enabling me to be confident of the quality and condition of the item being as described. On arrival I rated it as being in "mint" condition, better than the "excellent" rating as advertised. The whole purchase process was easy, with ready and prompt information and updates from the Ffordes staff.
Based on my experience I can highly recommend, and would happily use again.
