Mifsuds Photographic Recensioni

The quality of service that you receive at Mifsuds is always outstanding, helpful and supportive. This was not the first time I have bought kit from here as it has always been my 'go-to' shop. You are not rushed and the staff are knowledgable helping you to make the right choice. I bought a used lens that looked as though it was brand new so very pleased. Thank you for such great service.

Great experience lens in lovely condition for a very fair price

I popped into the store this morning to look at the Nikon Z 1.4x teleconverter and even tho I wasn't in a position just to buy it now and was just wanting to try it the owner as always couldn't have been more helpful.

He was very patient, polite and i felt no sense of being rushed he even made us a coffee which I thought was a lovely touch!!

I have made a number of purchases from this store over the last few years and I can't fault it and I live in Plymouth so it's about a 60 minute commute for me but its well worth it!!

Brilliant visit as always and I will be returning shortly to pick up my converter which he has kindly held back for me!!

Visited recently and the owner Matthew is clueless, discourteous and thoughtless. My time and money were not valued as it was clear I was asking too many questions and I was being hurried by him.

This place needs boycotting, do not buy from this shop if you are a beginner or if you have a query about a camera as he won't have time for you. Distasteful and very sexist type of humour which is not appropriate in this day and age especially in a public facing role.

I'd query the condition of the items being sold as it looks very rundown inside so I dare not think about the items conditions.

I am part of a wider photographic community here in Torbay and have spoken with many others who feel similar, the way I was made to feel by Matthew was revolting. I will ensure to continue passing on my experience and comments to others and advise they go elsewhere.

I have recently had the pleasure of visiting the Mifsuds Photographic shop in Brixham, Devon.
The staff there were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I was able to sort out selling my Canon Camera equipment at a very fair price and upgrade to a newer pro camera. I can highly recommend this shop for a wide range of photographic equipment and the professional approach of the staff.

Matt is always very helpfull with so much experience and keeps his prices very keen.
I would highly recoend.

one of those companies you find that you wish you'd found years ago. super helpful, very competitive and responds to emails very quickly. bought a few things from them and won't go anywhere else now.

Ive purchased from Mifsuds on many occasions and contacted them again and as I wanted to trade all of my Canon equipment for Nikon, they had all of the Nikon items I wanted and within 2 days my equipment was appraised and new Nikon equipment sent to me.
The customer service is second to none, Matthew would send updates each day as to the delivery schedule etc.
The trade in price is far better than their competitors as is their turnaround, previously i'd experienced 2 weeks with another company.
Highly recommended, I won't go anywhere else now.

My husband and I called into Mifsuds on the off chance they would have a spare lens cap for my husband's binoculars. He had lost one the day before. They couldn't have been more helpful. Tipped out 3 boxes of different caps and methodically went through them until they found a pair. We were delighted. They went onto say it was their good deed for the day and there was no charge. Thank you so very much. How refreshing to be treated so warmly and so helpful.

Order arrived the next morning at 9am with dpd and was very well packed. The lens was in fantastic condition with all the accessories, and even a free photography book as a free gift.
Absolutely amazing company and a new favourite. Many thanks and done. Nick

I have bought and sold cameras & lenses with Mifsuds for a number of years. Matthew is always so helpful in the shop and I have been so pleased with my purchases. I really recommend a visit to their lovely shop if you are in Brixham.

Have bought many used items from Mifsuds from Canon DSLR camera bodies to various Canon mount ef lenses and flashes. Everything l have bought has been of the highest quality. Matthew is a pleasure to deal with, his attention to detail is second to none.
I would recommend Mifsuds Brixham to anyone looking to buy new or used camera equipment.

Only recently found Mifsuds while looking for a used Canon 70-200 lens.
Found what I was looking for here at a good price so made the purchase.
Communication was excellent and the lens arrived next day, well packed.
It's in superb condition as described, extremely pleased with this purchase from Mifsuds, I will be buying again from here. Excellent service!

Always an outstanding level of service from Matt at Mifsuds I can not fault the professional way the business is run The very best Photographic Retailer I have encountered in a very long time Thanks Matthew Very highly recommended

In the UK there are photographic dealers, and then there is Mifsuds! Over the years I’ve always been impressed by their honesty, their integrity and the complete lack of ‘pushiness’ in the selling process, which is almost unique in my experience. Today I ended 55 years as a professional photographer by entrusting my entire photographic equipment collection to Matthew Mifsud and his dedicated staff. There is no one else I would trust to give me an honest appraisal and valuation, and he came up trumps (which in the current political climate is perhaps the wrong word to use!). I drove home delighted with the meeting, with the money already in my bank. The world needs more Mifsuds 👏🏼 and I have no hesitation in recommending them highly.

Matt and the team are excellent. They’ve always had whatever I needed, from an entire camera system to a small lens cap. What I really appreciate is that they always make time to have a chat and offer advice when needed. You could also get lost for hours, just looking at the wide array of stock, from the newest mirrorless range to vintage film. A proper, local camera company in an age of faceless online websites.

I recently placed an order after speaking with Matthew about a particular item I was interested in.
The discussion I had aleviated my concerns and when it arived I was not disapointed. It arived when I had requested and was unbelievably well packaged. Will certainly keep in touch for future purchases.

This is the first time I have used Mifsuds and I am very impressed by the service I have received. I ordered a Hasselblad 501C on Thursday evening. Camera arrived Saturday afternoon - it was listed as Mint minus. I was very pleasantly surprised as frankly it looked as if it was practically brand new, unmarked and is in perfect working order. I shall be using Mifsuds again.

Sigma 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM | Contemporary - Canon EF
Received the Sigma lens from Mifsuds in excellent condition as advertised.
The lens came well packaged and arrived 2 days earlier than expected.
I have used the lens and am extremely happy with the results.
Great communications with Matthew and I am pleasantly surprised and grateful for the complimentary book on landscape photography.
All In all an excellent experience and I would highly recommend. 😎
Thanks
Dan

This shop provides fantastic customer service. The products they sell are fabulous and the knowledge of the staff is second to none. Not my first visit today and it certainly won't be my last. Would highly recommend to everyone interested in photography from someone just staring out to the professional
