Useless. They lost my data and delayed the start of my tenancy not once, but twice. They also use a proxy website to attain consent for forms that you fill out on their platform. THIS MEANS YOUR DATA IS UNSAFE. Tenants please ask your landlord to use another company if they suggest this one.

After reading some negative reviews on here, I was a little nervous about my tenant referencing being done through FCCParagon especially as I’m self employed.
However the whole process was very smooth and quick and the lady that dealt with my referencing was very polite and helpful on the phone when requesting some extra information.
I had a positive reference returned to my estate agent within 3 days.

THE WORST REFERENCING AGENCY
I have been on a house search for the past few months and finally found somewhere perfect.
I never heard of the company before but trusted the letting agency I was working with, my file was failed due to my dads income being estimated from his bank statements. Instead of using his self-assessment or reference from his accountant.
They have messed everything up and refuse to take accountability in correcting the file. Very terrible company and I hope they do go out of business or better training is provided for your agents.
50% negative reviews is absolutely appalling. All reviews are similar too, which is very telling.

Our company have recently signed up with FCC Paragon and the level of customer service and customer care is excellent. The staff respond quickly and go out of their way to help. The communication is second to none. Having used many referencing portals over the years I have to say, without hesitation, that FCC paragon have been the best I have used in quite sometime. Bethan Heath and Mollie Layburn especially deserve to be recognised for their outstanding customer service skills.

Firstly, I would like to compliment Terry who was so polite and willing to help. She tried to understand my situation regarding finances and rising cost in the current climate, she went back to the drawing board and came back with a better price, this made me very happy! she did get me a result, It might have not been a lot of money off but it was something and I appreciate that. I've always been happy with Paragon. They have wonderful staff who are very competent. Keep the good work up. Compliments to Terry. She's a bonus to your company

I had the misfortune of dealing with this appalling company when I recently applied to rent a property. My experience with them was nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to warn others of their incompetence and unprofessionalism.
FCC Paragon asked an excessive amount of irrelevant questions during the referencing process, many of which were intrusive and embarrassing. They also demanded an overwhelming amount of personal details and documentation, leaving me feeling violated and frustrated.
To make matters worse, the online forms they provided were poorly designed and malfunctioned frequently, forcing me to start the entire process from scratch on numerous occasions.
Despite my nearly perfect credit score, no loans, no credit cards, steady income, and child maintenance payments that more than covered the rent, they declined my application. Their reason for doing so was nonsensical, citing "insufficient funds", which was a blatant falsehood. I actually calculated my gross annual income which amounted to over 38 times the monthly rent!!! I wonder if part of their business model is to purposely fail applicants so they can charge landlords more?
When I attempted to discuss this outrageous outcome with them, I was told that they could not provide me with any information and that I would need to submit a formal complaint via email. This level of unresponsiveness and lack of accountability is unacceptable and speaks volumes about their disregard for their customers. DO NOT TRUST their responses on here saying that they will discuss this further with you, or is this the only way they will actually discuss anything with you after you’ve handed them your entire finances?
I strongly advise anyone who is considering using FCC Paragon to steer clear. Their conduct is despicable and their processes are a complete shambles. Save yourself the hassle and look for a more competent and trustworthy company. I am so annoyed by the whole experience that I am tempted to take this to the Property Ombudsman as many people on here have had similar experiences and we need justice for those tenants FCC Paragon have left homeless and those landlords FCC Paragon have left without income!

Absolutely ridiculous company, very unfriendly staff and they have no idea what to check and how to check any details. I’m a home owner and did reference check for 4 of my prospective tenants and it failed so I decided to do a reference of my own nephew and in spite of providing all the details, which is ridiculous for any tenant who is going through this hell, he failed. They are asking way too much information and savings and guarantor for a studio apartment. They are asking reference for a reference, which I have never heard of and guarantor for a guarantor. I moved to OpenRent and they did it very reasonably and trust worthy. This company is rubbish. Stay away even if you are tenant or a landlord. Couldn’t give less than 1 star rating. Staff is never available to answer your query and never respond to any call back.

Both Pat and Natasha were and have always been kind, patient and helpful with our landlord insurance needs. Always take the time to answer any questions or concerns raised, always leaving you feeling satisfied and confident that our insurance requirements were correctly arranged.
We would always recommend Paragon Insurance and use them again in the future.

Spoke with a woman called Vanessa in the referencing department. She initially informed us that we ONLY need to provide pay slips or, alternatively an employer referencing but it was one or the other. We provided pay slips per what she recommended and then she decided to completely change the goal posts and said that we needed to provide the pay slips AND an employer reference.
When we queried this with her and called her out on the mistake she had made, she was very passive aggressive and rude. She has made the experience unpleasant for us.

I would like to highlight a work of Chloe K, she is a brilliant professional. Chloe always was very helpful and responsive. I had an experience of referencing as a tenant and due to my overseas life before, it was my first time when I had the UK reference check. I really like the approach, they do their best to make sure that the tenant is reliable, Chloe called my landlord and asked him about me, contacted a few times my employer, checked everything about the company where I work and what I really appreciate, she contacted me every time by phone, when I sent her emails with questions if I can help with providing something or what is the stage of the application now. Really professional and supportive person, thank you very much for such a good cooperation with FCC Paragon.

Spoke to Terry, who I have spoken to before. Always really friendly, answer the phone promptly and extremely helpful.
As well as great service, as a landlord, they provide good value policies and having "compared the market" they do this as at significantly lower cost.
